• One + should যুক্ত sentence কে passive করার নিয়ম:
- One's বাদ দিয়ে one's এর সাথের Object টি subject হিসেবে Passive voice- এ বসে।
- Should এর জন্য Should be বসে।
- verb এর past participle বসে।

Active: One should keep one’s promises.
Passive: Promises should be kept.

• 'Please' যুক্ত Imperative sentence কে Active Voice থেকে Passive Voice করার নিয়ম:
- Please/kindly এর পরিবর্তে Passive Voice- এ 'You are requested to' বসে।
- Negative sentence- এ to এর পূর্বে not বসে।
- Principal verb থেকে বাকি অংশ বসে।
- Active voice টি Present Tense- এ রয়েছে তাই Passive Voice এ 'Present Tense' হয়েছে।

Active: Please do not smoke.
Passive: You are requested not to smoke.

• Double Object যুক্ত Active voice কে Passive voice- এ রূপান্তর করার নিয়ম:
- দুটি Object এর যে কোন একটিকে Passive voice এর Subject করতে হবে।
- Tense অনুযায়ী auxiliary verb বসে।
- প্রদত্ত মূল verb এর past participle বসে।
- ২য় Object ব্যক্তিবাচক হলে তার আগে to বসে।
- তারপর বাকি Object টি বসে।
- by বসে।
- active voice এর Subject টি Object হিসেবে বসে। 

Active: The people of Grameen Bank offered Feroza the responsibility of teaching the children. 
Passive: The responsibility of teaching the children was offered to Feroza by the people of Grameen Bank.
Or, Feroza was offered the responsibility of teaching the children by the people of Grameen Bank.

• Whom যুক্ত Interrogative sentence এর Active voice কে Passive voice- এ রূপান্তরের নিয়ম:
- Active voice এর Whom এর পরিবর্তে Passive voice- এ প্রথমে Who বসে।
- Tense অনুযায়ী auxiliary verb বসে।
- মূল verb এর past participle form বসে।
- by বসে।
- Subject এর object form বসে।
- প্রশ্নবোধক (?) চিহ্ন বসে।

Active: Whom did you lend the pen?
Passive: Who was lent the pen by you?

• Good-bye / Farewell যুক্ত sentence- এ Indirect speech কে Direct speech করার নিয়ম:
- Reporting verb এর Subject বসে।
- bade এর পরিবর্তে said বসে।
- কমা (,) ব্যবহার হবে।
- ইনভার্টেড কমা (") শুরু।
- Good-bye বসে।
- object বসবে।
- ইনভার্টেড কমা (") শেষ।

Indirect: He bade his friends good bye.
Direct: He said, "Good-bye my friends.”

• Let যুক্ত Sentence এর Indirect করার নিয়ম:
- Let এরপর us থাকলে Indirect করার সময় reporting verb টি পরিবর্তিত হয়ে propose / suggest হয়। 
- inverted comma উঠে গিয়ে that বসে।
- they / we + should বসে।
- reported speech এর মূল verb থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত বসে।
- reporting verb এরপর Subject third person হলে that এর পরে we বসে এবং reporting verb এর Subject first person হলে that এর পরে they বসে।

Direct: He said to me, "Let us go out for a market."
Indirect: He proposed to me that we should go out for a market.

বাক্যটিতে ভাষাগত ত্রুটি আছে।
বাক্যটি হওয়া উচিত ছিল - He has made up his mind.
অথবা, She has made up her mind.

Make up your mind (idiom) এর অর্থ হচ্ছে নিজে কোনো বিষয়ে সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করা।

সেক্ষেত্রে, Passive form হতো- 
His mind has been made up (by him). 
অথবা, Her mind has been made up (by her).

প্রশ্ন ও অপশনে ভুল থাকায় প্রশ্নটি বাতিল করা হলো। 

• Complex ও Compound sentence এ উভয়ই Clause এর Voice change করার যোগ্য হলে উভয় clause এর voice change করতে হবে:
- মূল verb দিয়ে শুরু হওয়া Imperative sentence এর জন্য passive voice এ প্রথমে Let বসবে। Assertive sentence হলে active voice এর object টি passive voice এ subject হিসেবে বসে।
- be বসবে।
- মূল verb এর past participle বসবে।
- And এরপরের clause টি passive করা গেলে সেটিকেও passive voice করতে হবে।
- object টি subject হিসেবে বসে।
- Tense অনুযায়ী auxiliary verb বসে।
- by বসে।
- Subject এর object বসে।

Active: Do the work and I will help you.
Passive: Let the work be done and you will be helped by me.

• বাক্যে ক্রিয়ার কর্তা উহ্য থাকলে passive থেকে active করার সময় একটি কর্তা যেমন: 
- someone, somebody, people, the authority ইত্যাদি ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
- Steal এর past participle form- Stolen বসবে।  
- someone / somebody এর সাথে has বসে। 

Active: His school bag has been stolen. 
Passive: Someone has stolen his school beg.

• Agree / be anxious / arrange / determine / be determined / decide / demand + infinitive object যুক্ত Sentence কে Active voice কে Passive voice করার নিয়ম: 
- প্রদত্ত Active voice এর Subject ও Verb বসবে।
- that বসে।
- Infinitive এর পরের Object বসবে।
- should be বসে।
- Infinitive এর পরের verb এর past participle বসে।

Active: He arranged to see the football match.
Passive: He arranged that the football match should be seen.

• Optative Sentence এর Direct speech থাকে Indirect speech- এ রূপান্তর এর নিয়ম:
- reporting clause এর subject বসে।
- reporting verb এর পরিবর্তে (wish/wished)/ (pray/prayed) বসে।
- inverted comma উঠে গিয়ে that বসে।
- reported speech এর subject বসে।
- may / might বসে।
- reported speech এর মূল verb থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত বসে।

Direct: The old man said to me, “May ALLAH help you in every step of your life.” 
Indirect: The old man wished that ALLAH might help me in every step of my life.

• Interrogative sentence (Direct speech) কে Assertive sentence (Indirect speech)- এ রূপান্তর এর নিয়ম: 
- উল্লেখিত বাক্যটি wh question যুক্ত।
- wh question যুক্ত বাক্যের indirect speech এ 'said to' এর পরিবর্তে 'asked' বসে।
- Reported speech -এর Wh word অপরিবর্তিত থাকবে। অর্থাৎ, সেই Wh - question word টিই conjunction হিসেবে বসবে।
- তারপর Reported speech - এর subject বসবে।
- Direct speech টি- present perfect tense -এ থাকলে Indirect speech - এ, তা past perfect tense -এ পরিণত হবে।
- তারপর বাকি অংশ বসবে।

Direct: Jamal said to Kamal, "Why have you done it?"
Indirect: Jamal asked Kamal why he had done it.

• Imperative sentence এর Direct speech কে Indirect speech এ রূপান্তর এর নিয়ম:
- Subject + request / order / advice / beg / forbid বসে।
- Object বসে।
- to + reported speech এর মূল verb থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত বসবে।
- নিয়মানুযায়ী person পরিবর্তিত হবে।
- reported verb- টি অনুরোধ বুঝালে request, আদেশ বুঝালে order / command, উপদেশ বুঝালে advise, অন্যথায় tell দ্বারা পরিবর্তিত হবে।

Direct: He said to me, "Give me a piece of cake."
Indirect: He requested me to give him a piece of cake.
