• Verbal noun:

• Transitive Verb:
- যে verb এর object আছে তাকে transitive verb বলে৷
- Transitive verb এর সাধারণ Structure হচ্ছে : subject + verb + object.
- Object সর্বদাই Noun অথবা Pronoun হয়। তাই বাক্যে verb এর পরে Noun অথবা Pronoun থাকলে verb টি সাধারণত transitive verb হবে।
- আবার intransitive verb এর শেষে preposition + object যুক্ত করেও তাকে transitive verb এ পরিণত করা যায়।
- যেমন: He writes a poem. write হলো transitive verb, কারণ এর object হলো a poem.

• Inchoative verb:
- An inchoative verb expresses the beginning of a state or action. It often implies a change of state.
- অর্থাৎ, যে verb কোনো অবস্থার পরিবর্তনের সূচনা, বিকাশ, পরিণতি ব্যক্ত করে তাকে Inchoative verb বলে।
- যেমন: The leaves yellowed in autumn. (Became yellow)

• Causative Verb:
- Subject যখন নিযে কাজ না করে অন্যকে দিয়ে কাজ করায় তখন এই অর্থে Causative Verb ব্যবহার করা হয়ে থাকে।
- যেমন: My mother feeds me. এখানে feeds হলো Causative verb.
- Have, Get, Help, Let, Make ইত্যাদি প্রচলিত Causative Verb.
- Make, Have, Get ইত্যাদি যোগে verb কে Causative Verb এ পরিণত করা যায়।

- Active: Our principal embodies all the good qualities.
- Passive: All the good qualities are embodied in our principal.

• Present indefinite tense - এর assertive sentence -এর active voice -কে passive voice -করার নিয়ম:
- Active voice এর subject টি passive voice এর object হয়ে যায়।
- তারপর Tense অনুযায়ী auxiliary verb (am/is/are) বসবে।
- মূল verb এর past participle হয়।
- তারপর preposition (by, with, to, at, in etc. বসবে)।
- Active voice এর object টি passive voice এর subject হয়ে যায়।

• সাধারণত, আমরা জানি passive voice এ obj এর পূর্বে preposition হিসেবে by বসে।
