• as well as দ্বারা দুইটি বাক্য যুক্ত হলে verb as well as এর পুর্বে যে subject থাকে তার number/person অনুযায়ী হয়।
- structure: Subject + verb + as well as + verb + object.

• প্রশ্নে উল্লেখিত বাক্যে as well as এর পুর্বে subject "Rony" Third person singular হওয়ায় শূন্যস্থানে is/ was বসতে পারে, যেহেতু অপশনে was আছে তাই was সঠিক উত্তর।

• Complete sentence: Rony as well as Roky was present there.

• Causative Verb:
- Subject যখন নিজে কাজ না করে অন্যকে দিয়ে কাজ করিয়ে নেয় তখন এই অর্থে causative verb ব্যবহৃত হয়। 
- Help, Get, Have, Let, Make ইত্যাদি বহুল প্রচলিত causative verb.
- Make, have, get প্রভৃতি যোগে অনেক verb- কে causative verb এ পরিণত করা যায়।

• Causative verb হিসাবে get এর structure - 
1. Subject + get (any tense) + বস্তুবাচক object +verb এর past participle এই structure টি ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Example: John got his car washed.

2. Subject + get (any tense) + ব্যক্তিবাচক object + infinitive (to + v1)  এই structure টি ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Example: John got Alex to clean the bedroom.

• Causative verb হিসাবে Have এর structure - 
1. Subject + have (any tense) + object (usually person) + base form of verb + . . . .
Example:
- John had Alex clean the bedroom.
- He always has me do his work.
- Mary will have Alex prepare her homework.

2. Subject + have (any tense) + object (usually thing) + past participle form of verb + . . . .
Example:
- John had his car washed.
- He always has his work done.
- Mary will have her homework prepared.

• Causative verb হিসাবে Make এর structure - 
1. Subject + make (any tense) + object (always person) + base form of verb + . . .
Example:
- Robert made me beat that little child.  
- He always makes me do his work.
- Mary will make me prepare her homework.  
- I made him wash my car.
- He makes me laugh whenever I am down.

• Relative pronoun (who, whom, which, what, when, whose, how, that) থাকলে Antecedent (Relative pronoun এর পূর্বের Noun/pronoun) অনুযায়ী verb বসে।

যেমন:
- It is I who am to blame.
- It is you who are to leave.
- It is he who is to go.

• Antecedent ‘you’ থাকায় শূন্যস্থানে are বসবে।
• "Who" এর পরে ব্যবহৃত verb অবশ্যই subject "you" এর সাথে মিলতে হবে। তাই are বসবে।

Complete sentence: It is you who are to complete the assignment by tomorrow.

• It is time/ It is high time এরপর যদি subject থাকে তাহলে verb টি past tense এ হয়।
- It is high time we left the place.
 - It is high time we stopped corruption.
- It is high time he changed his bad habits.

Complete sentence: It is high time he changed his diet for a healthier lifestyle.

অন্যদিকে,
• It is time/It is high time এরপর যদি subject না থাকে তবে to + verb হয়।
Example: It is high time to stop corruption.

- Prefer এর পরে দুটি noun থাকলে দুটি noun এর মাঝে তুলনা বুঝালে তখন than না বসে to বসে। 

• Example:
She prefers dancing to singing.
He prefers milk to tea.

• Narration এর নিয়মানুযায়ী,
• Indirect এ before থাকলে direct এ তা পরিবর্তিত হয়ে ago হয়।
- আর long ago থাকলে verb এর past indefinite tense হয়।

• Structure:
- Indirect: Subject + said + that + past perfect (sub + had + past participle) + long before
- Direct: Subject + said, + past indefinite (sub + past form) + long ago.

- তাই নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর হIndirect: Sanial said that he had seen him long before.
Direct: Sanial said, “I saw him long ago.”

• Article: 
- Articles মুলত Noun, Pronoun এর আগে বসে তাদের সংখ্যা এবং নির্দিষ্টতা, অনির্দিষ্টতা জ্ঞাপন করে।
- Articles কে প্রধানত দুই ভাগে ভাগ করে যায়।
• Indefinite Articles: A, An-এরা Indefinite Article. (এরা নির্দিষ্টভাবে কোনো ব্যক্তি, বস্তু বা কোনো বিষয়কে নির্দেশ করে না)।
• Definite Articles: The হল Definite Article (এটি কোনো বিশেষ ব্যক্তি, বস্তু বা বিষয়কে নির্দিষ্টভাবে বোঝাতে বা চিহ্নিত করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়ে থাকে)।

• Chess (uncountable noun) - দাবা খেলা।
- Uncountable noun এর পূর্বে article ব্যবহারের প্রয়োজন নেই। 

Complete sentence: She's quite a hotshot at chess.

• Admit of something:
English meaning: to allow something or make it possible
Bangla meaning: অবকাশ থাকা

- বাক্যের context অনুযায়ী appropriate preposition হিসাবে admit এর পর of preposition টি বসবে।

Complete sentence: The present schedule does not admit of modification.

অন্যদিকে,
- admit to স্বীকার করা; স্বীকারোক্তি করা

•  Mind, worth, can not help, with a view to, get used to, would you mind এবং যেকোনো preposition এর পর verb থাকলে উক্ত verb এর present form + ing যুক্ত হয়ে থাকে।

• Mind যুক্ত incomplete sentence কে complete করার নিয়ম:-
- mind এর পরে verb এর মূল form এর সাথে 'ing' যোগ করতে হয়।
- Structure: Subject + mind + verb+ ing + object.

- নিয়মানুযায়ী সম্পূর্ন বাক্য - I don't mind waiting a few more minutes for the bus.

• দুইয়ের মধ্যে বুঝাতে between, এবং দুইয়ের অধিক এর মধ্যে বুঝাতে among বসে।
যেমন-
- Our teacher told the monitor to hand out scripts among the class.
- Divide the apples between the two boys.

• যেহেতু প্রশ্নে উল্লেখিত বাক্যে দুইজনের অধিক ব্যক্তির মধ্যে কোনকিছু বঝানো হয়েছে, তাই সঠিক উত্তর হবে among.
- Correct sentence: I saw a few familiar faces among the crowd.

• Structure হলো -
- After + having/ being + Past participle.

Example:
- Akash returned home after having spent six days at cox's bazar.
- After being told these stories, I started thinking. 

Complete sentence: After being told about the surprise party, she couldn't contain her excitement.

• Affirmative to Negative:

• Affirmative sentence এ always থাকলে negative sentence এ পরিণত করার ক্ষেত্রে - 
- always এর স্থানে never বসে 
- affirmative word টির বিপরীত শব্দ বসে। 

- সুতরাং, নিয়মানুযায়ী 'Mohaymin is always on time' এর negative form হবে - Mohaymin is never late.

• Loaves and fishes
English Meaning: material gain.
Bangla Meaning: বৈষয়িক লাভ / জাগতিক বিষয় অর্জন

Ex. Sentence: Everything he does is for loaves and fishes.
Bangla Meaning: সে যা কিছু করে সবই বৈষয়িক প্রাপ্তির জন্য করে।

• Linking Verb/ Copulative verb: 
- যে সকল verb সাধারণত subject ও Subjective complement এর মধ্যে যোগসূত্র স্থাপন করে তাদেরকে Linking verb/ Copulative verb বলে।
- Linking verb-এর complement হিসেবে সাধারণত adjective বসে৷ অর্থাৎ Linking verb এর পরে Adjective বসে। 
- Subject এবং subjective complement এর মধ্যবর্তী verb কে linking/Copulative verb বলে৷
- অবশ্যই মনে রাখতে হবে - Linking/copulative verb হচ্ছে actionless.
- adverbs can be used before linking verbs if they describe the linking verb and not the subject. 

তাই, এখানে 'went' হচ্ছে Copulative verb. 

• Strident (Adjective)
English Meaning: Having a loud, rough and unpleasant sound.
Bangla Meaning: উচ্চনাদী; কর্কশ; তীক্ষ্ণ

Synonyms: Harsh (তীক্ষ্ম), Loud (উচ্চৈঃস্বর), Unpleasantly noisy (অস্বস্তিকর আওয়াজ), Blatant (ভীষণ), Horrifying (ভয়ংকর)। 
Antonyms: Soft (অনুচ্চ), Gentle (মৃদু), Soothing (স্বস্তিকর), Sweet (মিষ্টি স্বর), Low (নিচু স্বর)। 

Other Forms: 
- Stridently (Adverb).
- Stridency (Noun).

Example Sentence: 
1. Some ten minutes later my bite alarm sounded its strident note.
2. The strident tone in his voice revealed his anger.

- Villifiy (দূর্নাম করা)
- Deviant (বিচ্যুত)

• Noun + ly = Adjective হয়।
প্রশ্নে উল্লেখিত Motherly শব্দটির মূল শব্দ হচ্ছে Mother যা একটি Noun এবং এর শেষে ly যুক্ত হয়ে motherly, adjective হয়েছে।

এছাড়া এখানে affection noun কে modify করার কারণে এটি adjective.

♦ Compound Nouns:
- A compound noun is a noun that is made with two or more words.
- অর্থাৎ দুই বা ততোধিক শব্দ নিয়ে যে noun গঠিত হয় সেগুলোকে compound noun বলা হয়।
- A compound noun is usually [noun + noun] or [adjective + noun], but there are other combinations. Each compound noun acts as a single unit and can be modified by adjectives and other nouns.

• There are three main types of compound nouns:

1. open or spaced - space between words (Cricket bat)
2. hyphenated - hyphen between words (By-product)
3. closed or solid - no space or hyphen between words (Rainfall)

• Syntax (noun)
English Meaning: the arrangement of words and phrases to create well-formed sentences in a language.
Bangla Meaning: বাক্যপ্রকরণ; বাক্যরীতি; পদান্বয়; পদযোজনা।

• ইংরেজি ভাষাবিজ্ঞানে 'syntax' বাক্যের গঠন নিয়ে আলোচনা করে।
- 'Syntax' শব্দের অর্থ বাক্যতত্ত্ব।
- Syntax denotes rules for building sentences.
- সুতরাং Syntax is concerned with - sentence

• Endure: [verb]
English meaning: to suffer something difficult, unpleasant, or painful.
Bangla meaning: দুঃখকষ্ট ভোগ করা।

Options,
• Endurable: the fact that something difficult, unpleasant, or painful is possible to deal with: adjective.

• Endurence: wrong word.

• Enduement: The act of enduing or investing, or that with which one is endued.

• Endurance: the ability to keep doing something difficult, unpleasant, or painful for a long time: Noun.

• In the teeth of (idiom)
English Meaning: directly against/in direct opposition to.
Bangla Meaning: প্রবল বিরোধিতা / সরাসরি বিরোধিতা

Ex. Sentence: The bill was passed in the teeth of strong opposition.
Bangla Meaning: প্রবল বিরোধিতা স্বত্ত্বেও বিলটি পাস হলো।

• Tag question করার নিয়ম- 
- সাধারণত Tag question ব্যবহৃত হয় পূর্বে উল্লেখিত কোন উক্তি সত্য না মিথ্যা তা নিশ্চিত হওয়ার জন্য। 
- Statement positive হলে tag question টা negative হবে। আবার statement negative হলে tag question positive হবে।
- প্রশ্নে যেহেতু বাক্যটি affirmative এ আছে, তাই  Tag question Negative হবে এবং বাক্যটি Present indefinite tense হওয়ায় এবং verb singular এবং subject টি 3rd person singular হওয়ায় Tag question এর ক্ষেত্রে doesn't হয়।

Complete sentence: She works hard, doesn't she?

• ‘for/since’ এর পরে যখন point of time/period of time (for two hours, since morning etc.) উল্লেখ থাকে,তখন Present Perfect Continuous tense হয়।
- আবার, অতীতে কোন কাজ শুরু হয়ে বর্তমানে ও চলছে বুঝালে বাক্যটি Present Perfect Continuous Tense হয়।
- structure: Subject + have been / has been + verb(ing) + time.

• Since এর ব্যবহার:
- Point of time এর পূর্বে since বসে।
- Point of time হচ্ছে সেই সময়কাল যাকে এক, দুই, তিন ইত্যাদি গণনার একক দ্বারা গণনা করা যায় না বরং কোনো মুহূর্ত বা সময়কে নির্দেশ করে।
- যেমন- গত সোমবার, গত সপ্তাহ/মাস/বছর, দুইটা, সাড়ে তিনটা ইত্যাদি।
Example:
- It has been raining since morning.
- He has been studying since morning.

আবার,

• Period of time (কত সময় ধরে) বুঝাতে for বসে।
- She was waiting for four hours.

For এর ব্যবহার:
- Period of time এর পূর্বে for বসে।
- Period of time হচ্ছে সেই সময়কাল যাকে সময় গণনার একক (সেকেন্ড, মিনিট, ঘন্টা, সপ্তাহ, মাস, বছর ইত্যাদি) দ্বারা গণনা করা হয়। যেমন-
- এক সেকেন্ড, এক মিনিট, এক ঘন্টা, এক সপ্তাহ, এক মাস, এক বছর, দুই বছর, ইত্যাদি।
-ব্যতিক্রম- (for) a long time (অনেক/দীর্ঘ সময়/ক্ষণ/দিন।) যেমন-
- We have been reading in this school for four years.
- He said nothing for a long time.
- Rima has been working here for eight months.

• Insist on/upon অর্থ কোনো কিছুতে জোর দেয়া।
- Insist on/upon এর সাথে verb এর ing form বসে।

Example:
- He insisted on my going there.
- She insists on doing everything her way.

Complete sentence: I don't know why you insist on talking about it.

• কাঁদতে কাঁদতে, হাসতে হাসতে, নাচতে নাচতে ইত্যাদি চলমান প্রকাশ করা অর্থে সব সময় present participle (verb + ing) হয়। 

• The child came to me crying  এর অর্থ 'শিশুটি কাঁদতে কাঁদতে আমার কাছে এলো'
- বাক্যটিতে কাঁদতে কাঁদতে দ্বারা একটি চলমান কাজ বোঝানো হয়েছে, তাই Verb cry এর সাথে  ing যুক্ত হয়েছে। 
- কারো কাছে আসা বোঝাতে come to somebody ব্যবহার করতে হয়। 

• শিশুটি কাঁদতে কাঁদতে আমার কাছে এল।
English Translation: The child came to me crying.

• While দ্বারা দুইটি বাক্যাংশ যুক্ত হলে - 
- While এর পূর্বে অংশ টি past indefinite এ হলে, এরপরের অংশে past continuous tense হয়। 
- while যুক্ত অংশটি Past continuous tense হলে অপরটি Past indefinite tense হয়।
- সুতরাং নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর হবে - interrupted
