- 1901 থেকে 1939 পর্যন্ত সময়কালকে ইংরেজী সাহিত্যে the Modern Age হিসেবে ধরা হয়ে থাকে।

• A King and No King:
- এটি একটি Tragi-comedy (দুঃখ-হাস্য নাটক)।
- দুটি রাজ্যের দুই রাজা - ইবেরিয়ার আর্বেসিস (Arbaces) এবং আর্মেনিয়ার টাইগ্রেনিস (Tigranes), তারা দুইজন একই নারী প্যান্থিয়াকে (Panthea) ভালোবাসে।
