• Narration এর নিয়মানুযায়ী,
- Optative sentence এর ক্ষেত্রে, Optative Sentence এর Direct form কে Indirect form এ রূপান্তর করার নিয়ম:
- said এর পরিবর্তে wished / prayed বসবে।
- inverted comma উঠে গিয়ে that বসবে।
- reported speech এর subject বসে + may/ might বসে
- reported verb এর মূল verb থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত অংশ বসে।

• সুতরাং, নিয়মানুযায়ী,
- Direct Narration: Baelish said, “Long live King Joffrey!”
- Indirect Narration: Baelish wished that King Joffrey might live long.

Genesis (noun)
- English Meaning: the origin or coming into being of something.
- Bangla Meaning: সূচনা; প্রারম্ভিক বিন্দু।

Complete Sentence: The scientist wrote a paper on the genesis of life on Earth.

ক) exodus - বহুলোকের একত্রে বহির্গমন; অভিনিষ্ক্রমণ। 

গ) apocalypse - বিশেষত ঈশ্বরলব্ধ জ্ঞানের প্রকাশ।

• Narration এর নিয়মানুযায়ী,
- Reported speech দ্বারা যদি কোনো চিরন্তন সত্য বা অভ্যাসগত কর্ম বা ঐতিহাসিক সত্য বা বৈজ্ঞানিক সত্য প্রকাশ পায়, তবে Indirect Narration এ Tense এর কোনো পরিবর্তন হয় না৷
- Reporting verb এর subject এবং verb অপরিবর্তিত ভাবে বসে।
- Inverted comma উঠে that বসে।
- বাকি অংশ অপরিবর্তিত থাকে।

English Meaning: easily duped or cheated.
Bangla Meaning: সহজে প্রতারণাযোগ্য।

• Object + present participle যুক্ত active voice কে passive voice এ পরিবর্তনের সময়-
• object টি Subject হয় + Tense ও Person অনুযায়ী Auxiliary verb বসে + মূল verb-এর past participle বসে + present participle যুক্ত অংশটি বসে + by বসে + Subjectটির objective form বসে।

অর্থাৎ, 
-  present participle থেকে বাক্যের বাকি অংশ অপরিবর্তিত থাকে।
- এক্ষেত্রে শুধু present participle এর পূর্ববর্তী বাক্যাংশের passive form হয়ে থাকে।
- আর, By+ object যুক্ত অংশ বাক্যের শেষে বসে।

• Handy (adjective)
- English Meaning: conveniently near. convenient for use of a ship : easily handled. clever in using the hands especially in a variety of useful ways
- Bangla Meaning: (১) (ব্যক্তি) হাতের কাজে পটু; কুশলী।
(২) (বস্তু, স্থান) সুবিধাজনক; দরকারি: কোন একসময় কাজে লাগা: 
(৩) বেশি দূরে নয়; হাতের কাছে; ব্যবহারের জন্য মেলে এমন।

• Imperative Sentence কে Active Voice থেকে Passive Voice এ পরিবর্তন করার নিয়ম:

এক্ষেত্রে,
• Do not দিয়ে শুরু যুক্ত Imperative Sentence এর Active Voice কে Passive Voice এ রূপান্তরিত করার নিয়ম:
-  প্রথমে Let not বসে, 
- Objectটি subject রূপে বসে, 
- be বসে, 
- মূল Verb-এর Past Participle বসে।

সে অনুসারে, 
Active Voice: Don’t neglect your duties.
Passive Voice: Let not your duties be neglected.

Haphazard (adjective, noun)
- English Meaning: marked by lack of plan, order, or direction.
- Bangla Meaning: পরিকল্পনাহীন, এলোপাতাড়ি।

Synonyms:
• Random -এলোমেলোভাবে।
• Sporadic - বিক্ষিপ্ত।
• Scattered - ছড়ানো। 

Antonyms:
• Systematic - সুশৃঙ্খল।
• Systematically - ক্রমপরম্পরায়।

• To + Verb - Object বা Object সদৃশ হলে Complex Sentence এ that + Clause বসে।
এখানে To + Verb টি a doctor - Noun এর অনন্তর্নিহিত Verb এর Object সদৃশ হয়েছে।

- মূল Clause এর Verb (wants) present Tense হওয়ায়, এ Clause টাও present Tense এ হবে।
- তবে to + verb সাধারণত Future Indicate করে, তাই এখানে Future (will) হবে। 
- তবে মনে রাখতে হবে, to + verb  যদি উদ্দেশ্য বুঝানোর জন্য আসে, তখন সাধারণত so that বা in order that যুক্ত Clause বসে।

- Simple Sentence: Karim wants to become a doctor.
- Complex Sentence: Karim wants that he will become a doctor.

Compound Sentence: Study hard or fail the exam.
Simple Sentence: Without studying hard, you will fail the exam.
 
• Or যুক্ত Compound Sentence কে Simple করার নিয়ম:

- প্রথমে Without বসে + প্রথম বাক্যের মূল verb এর সাথে ing যোগ হয় + verb এর পরের অংশ বসে (যদি থাকে) + or এর পরিবর্তে (,) বসে + দ্বিতীয় বাক্য/বাক্যাংশ বসে। 
- এখানে দ্বিতীয় বাক্যে শুধু "regret it later" আছে বিধায় এটি future tense এ হবে।

Horrendous:
- English Meaning: extremely bad or unpleasant : horrible, dreadful 
- Bangla Meaning: পৈশাচিক; ভয়াবহ; বীভৎস; ভয়ংকর; নিদারুণ; ভীষণ।

• So ___  that যুক্ত complex sentence কে, simple করার সময় নিম্নোক্ত structure প্রযোজ্য হয় -
- So এর স্থানে too বসে, that এর পূর্ব পর্যন্ত আর কোন পরিবর্তন হোয় না।
- that থেকে not পর্যন্ত উঠে যায়। 
- to বসে এবং sentence এর বাকি অংশ বসে।

Complex Sentence: The bag is so heavy that I cannot lift it.
Simple Sentence: The bag is too heavy for me to lift.

• Indolent (adjective)
English Meaning: habitually lazy or avoiding work; avoiding exertion.
Bangla Meaning: অলস; নিশ্চেষ্ট; নিরুদ্যম; নিরুদ্যোগী; পরিশ্রমবিমুখ।

অপশন আলোচনা:
- Proactive - সক্রিয়; অগ্রগামী; উদ্যোগী।

- Inactive - নিষ্ক্রিয়; কাজহীন।

• Because of যুক্ত Simple Sentence কে Complex-এ পরিবর্তনের নিয়ম:
- প্রথমে Simple sentence এ because of থাকলে Complex sentence এর পরিবর্তে Since/ as ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- তারপর  Subject বসে + Verb বসে,
- এরপর Adjective /Noun + Comma বসে,
- সবশেষে অপর clause টি বসে।

Simple: Because of my illness, I could not attend the meeting.
Complex: Since I was ill, I could not attend the meeting.
