- Romantic novel, যেখানে Darcy এবং Elizabeth একে অপরের প্রেমে পরে তাদের মাঝে অনেক differences থাকার পরেও।

- কাহিনীর সূত্রপাত ১৯ শতকের গ্রামীন ইংল্যান্ডে।
- Bennet পরিবারের সাথে Fitzwilliam Darcy নামক একজন জমিদারের সম্পর্কে নিয়ে।
- Bennet পরিবারের মোট পাঁচজন কন্যা।
- এই পাঁচ কন্যার মা তার কন্যার বিয়ে দেয়ার জন্য বিভিন্ন Eligible Bachelor এর খোঁজ করেন।

♦ I wandered lonely as a cloud:
- কবিতাটি William Wordsworth রচিত।
- প্রকাশিত হয় 1807 সালে।
- এই কবিতায় কবি একটি lake এর কাছে একটি daffodils ফুল দেখতে পান, যার স্মৃতি তাকে পরিতৃপ্ত করে ও  আনন্দ দেয় যখন তিনি একা থাকেন। 
- তার বোন Dorothy Wordsworth এর এই কবিতা রচনায় অবদান আছে বলে জানা যায়।
- কবিতায় Wordsworth, Daffodils কে The Stars of the Milky way এর সাথে তুলনা করেছেন।

• William Wordsworth:
- তিনি জন্মগ্রহণ করেন April 7, 1770, Cockermouth, Cumberland, England.
- তাকে 'Poet of Nature' বলা হয়।
- তাকে  Lake poet বলা হয়, কারণ তিনি North England এর Lake District এ জন্মগ্রহণ করেন।
- Wordsworth was born in the Lake District of northern England, that's why he is called Lake Poet.

♦ To a Skylark:
- এটি একটি lyric poem.
- Skylark চড়ুই এর মতো দেখতে একটি পাখি।
- কবি একে চাঁদ এর আলোর সাথে তুলনা করেন।
- কবির মনে এটি joyous spirit of the divine এর প্রতীক।
- তিনি skylark হবার ইচ্ছা পোষণ করেন।
- এর গান থেকে তিনি আত্মার প্রেরণা খুঁজে পান। তিনি মনে করে এর গান স্বর্গীয়।

- এই কবিতায় কবির সুনিপুন কাব্য দক্ষতার বহিঃপ্রকাশ ঘটেছে।
- কবিতায় দেখা যায়, স্বর্গীয় আনন্দের প্রতীক হিসেবে মৃত্যু থেকে বেপরোয়া হয়ে অনেক উঁচুতে পাখি উড়ছে।
- কবিও Sky-Lark পাখিটার মতো হতে চান যাকে কখনো দুঃখ-বেদনা কিংবা হতাশা স্পর্শ করেনি।

- এটি Shelley রচিত একটি কবিতা।
- এই কবিতাটি হলো একটি pastoral elegy.
- এই ধরনের কবিতাগুলোর মূল বৈশিষ্ট্য হলো মৃত্যু এবং গ্রামীন পরিবেশের বর্ণনা।
- Shelley তার বন্ধু John Keats এর মৃত্যুতে শোক প্রকাশ করে এই কবিতাটি লিখেছিলেন।

- গ্রীক পূরানকাহিনী অনুযায়ী Adonais একজন তরুন বীরের নাম।
- এই কবিতাকে John Milton এর Lycidas কবিতার সাথে তুলনা দেয়া হয়।
- কবিতায় দেখা যায়, John Keats এর মৃত্যুতে শোক প্রকাশ করছে প্রকৃতি, দেবতাদের আহবান করা হচ্ছে যেন তারাও শোক প্রকাশ করে।

- গ্রীক মিথ অনুযায়ী Endymion একজন অনিন্দ্য সুন্দর যুবকের নাম।
- কবিতায় দেখানো হয়েছে Endymion একজন রাখাল যে তার প্রেমিকার সন্ধান করে, যার নাম Cynthia.
- এই কবিতায় কবি truth of beauty এর অনুসন্ধান করেছেন। 
- সৌন্দর্য চিরস্থায়ী এবং সৌন্দর্যের এই চেতনা আমাদের অন্তরকে আলোকিত করে রাখে।
- কবিতার প্রথম লাইন: A thing of beauty is a joy forever.

- এই কবিতাটি John Ketas এর  first long poem.
- কবিতাটিকে poetic epic ও বলা হয়ে থাকে।

- এটি একটি Ode.
- এই কবিতাটিকে গণ্য করা যায় meditation upon art and life হিসেবে।
- John Keats মোট ছয়টি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ode লিখেছেন, তার মধ্যে এই কবিতাটি অন্যতম।

- এই কবিতাটি nightingale পাখির গানে অনুপ্রাণিত হয়ে লেখা।
- পাখিটি কবির বাগানে এসে গান করছিল।
- পাখির সাথে কাল্পনিক কথোপকথনে কবি আনন্দিত হচ্ছেন। পাখির আনন্দ স্পর্শ করছে কবিকেও।
- দুঃখ-বেদনা পাশ কাটিয়ে তিনি চিরসুখী হতে চান। কিন্তু খেয়াল করে দেখেন, সুখ, সৌন্দর্য, যৌবন সব কিছুই ক্ষণস্থায়ী।
- কবিতায় মূলত Nightingale পাখিকে দেখানো হয়েছে অমরত্বের প্রতীক হিসেবে।
