- It is a romance comedy play in five acts written by G. B Shaw.
- এই নাটকটি ১৯১৩ সালে প্রকাশিত হয়।
- The play is a humane comedy about love and the English class system.

• Romantic period এর অন্যতম poet and satirist Lord Byron এর অনবদ্য সৃষ্টি Don Juan হচ্ছে  a satire in the form of a picaresque verse tale. 
- এই কবিতার কেন্দ্রীয় চরিত্র হচ্ছে Don Juan যাকে ঘিরে কবিতার মূল কাহিনী আবর্তিত হয়েছে এবং তার নামেই কবিতাটির নামকরণ করা হয়েছে।
- তবে কবিতার প্রধান চরিত্রটির নাম একজন স্প্যানীশ কিংবদন্তির নাম থেকে থেকে নেয়া হয়েছে তবে কাহিনী সম্পুর্ন আলাদা।
- Don Juan কে এখানে চিত্রায়িত করা হয়েছে womanizer এবং easily seduced by women হিসেবে।
-কবিতাটি প্রায় পাঁচ হাজার লাইন বিশিষ্ট।
