• অতীত নির্দেশক কোন শব্দ বা phrase যেমন (yesterday, ago, long since, last night, last week, last month, last year, the day before yesterday ইত্যাদি) Past Indefinite Tense নির্দেশ করে।
- তাই নিয়ম অনুযায়ী এদের পর verb এর past form হয়। 
যেমন: I came home last night.

• It is time/It is high time এর ব্যবহার: 
- কোন কাজ করার সঠিক সময় ইতিমধ্যে পার হয়ে গেছে, বিলম্ব না করে এ মুহূর্তে কাজটি শুরু করা উচিত বুঝানোর জন্য It is time ব্যবহৃত হয়। 
- তবে বেশি জোর দেওয়া বুঝাতে It is time এর পরিবর্তে It is high time ব্যবহৃত হয়। 
- Structure: It is time + subject + past subjunctive + -----------

আবার, কোন কাজ করার সঠিক সময় হয়েছে বুঝাতে It is time + infinitive + --------- বসে। 
অর্থাৎ, 
- বাক্যে  It is time/It is high time থাকলে আর এর পর subject বসলে subject - এর পরের verb টি past form হবে।
- It is time ও It is high time এর পরে subject না এসে, কোন verb আসলে ঐ verb এর  to infinitive form হবে।  

তাই সঠিক উত্তরটি হবে - It is high time we embraced renewable technologies and transitioned to a sustainable and green economy.
