• Relative pronoun:
- যে pronoun পূর্বে উল্লেখিত কোন Noun বা Pronoun কে নির্দেশ পূর্বক দুটি বাক্যাংশ/ বাক্যকে যুক্ত করে তাকে Relative Pronoun বলে।
- Who, which, that, what এগুলো Relative Pronoun রূপে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- ব্যক্তির পরিবর্তে relative pronoun হিসেবে who/ whom/ whose বসে।
- বস্তুর ক্ষেত্রে which/ that বসে 
- ব্যক্তি, বস্তু কেউকে নয় এমন বোঝাতে what বসে।

- দুই clause বিশিষ্ট বাক্যে gap (শূন্যস্থানে) এর পরে verb থাকলে এবং antecedent (পূর্বপদ) টি person হলে gap এ "who" বসে।

- 'যাতে, যেন' অর্থে উদ্দেশ্য বা purpose বোঝাতে Subordinating conjunction হিসেবে 'so that' ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- so that এর পর এমন একটি Clause বসে যা কোন একটি উদ্দেশ্য প্রকাশ করে।
- যেমন: I study hard so that I can pass the exam.

• Preposition

• Participle Preposition

• Present Subjunctive
- চাওয়া বা ইচ্ছা প্রকাশ করতে sub-ordinate clause হিসেবে ব্যবহার করা হয়।
- এ verb এর Base form ব্যবহারের রীতিই হলো Present Subjunctive.
- সাধারণত advise, necessary, ask, command, recommend, demand, urge, propose, suggest, insist, prefer, request, require, ইত্যাদি verb গুলো ব্যবহৃত হলে এই নিয়ম প্রযোজ্য হবে।
- এক্ষেত্রে that যুক্ত subordinate clause এ সর্বদাই verb এর Base form হবে এবং Negative এর ক্ষেত্রে base form এর পূর্বে শুধু not বসবে।
- be verb থাকলে শুধু 'be' বসবে।

• Past (Preposition)
• to or on the further side of.
- পেরিয়ে; ছাড়িয়ে; অতিক্রম করে।

- "A police car sped past our house with its siren on."
- বাক্যটির অর্থ হচ্ছে যে, একটি পুলিশের গাড়ি সাইরেন বাজিয়ে আমাদের বাড়ির পাশ দিয়ে দ্রুত চলে গেল।
- এই বাক্যে অতিক্রম করে/ পেরিয়ে বুঝাতে Past শব্দটি Preposition হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• Past (Adjective)

- অতীতকালীন; গত; বিগত।

- Don't be anxious, the danger is now past.

- তাই এটি Adjective হয়েছে।

• Past (the past) (Noun):
- The time before the moment of speaking or writing.
- অতীত; অতীতকাল।

- People should not live in the past.

• Past Perfect Tense এর ব্যবহার: 
• Past perfect tense + before + past indefinite tense
- অর্থাৎ  before এর পূর্বে Past perfect tense এবং পরে Past indefinite tense হয়।
- The cyclist had looked cautiously before he crossed the main street.

• Past indefinite tense + after + Past perfect tense
- অর্থাৎ after এর পরে Past perfect tense এবং পূর্বে Past indefinite tense হয়।
- He crossed the main street after the cyclist had looked cautiously.
