• Who যুক্ত Interrogative Sentence এর Active Voice কে Passive Voice এ পরিণত করার নিয়ম:
- Who এর পরিবর্তে প্রথমে By whom বসে।
- Tense ও Person অনুযায়ী Auxiliary Verb বসাতে হয়। 
- Object টি Subject হয়।
- Tense অনুযায়ী কর্তার পরে  be/being/been বসাতে হয়। 
- মূল Verb এর Past Participle বসে।
- সবার শেষে প্রশ্নবোধক চিহ্ন বসে। 

• সুতরাং, নিয়মানুযায়ী, 
Active: Who has taken my book?
Passive: By whom has my book been taken?

• In spite of/ Despite / notwithstanding = সত্ত্বেও.
- Simple sentence এ in spite of/ Despite / notwithstanding থাকলে complex করতে হলে, 
- প্রথমে এদের পরিবর্তে though/ although বসে,
- এর পর subject বসে + verb বসে + adjective/noun বসে + comma বসে + অপর বাক্যটি বসে।

Simple Sentence: In spite of his illness, he went to school.
Complex Sentence: Although he was ill, he went to school.

• Simple sentence এ to অথবা in order to থাকলে Compound Sentence এ পরিণত করতে তিনটি কাজ করতে হয় -
- যথা-
(1) Clause গুলোর অবস্থান উল্টে যাবে।
(2) ‘want to’ অতিরিক্ত যোগ হবে।
(3) ‘and so/ therefore’ Conjunction যোগ হবে।

• সুতরাং, নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর হবে - We want to avoid mistakes and so we plan carefully.

• অন্যদিকে, 
• Simple Sentence এ 'in order to' থাকলে Complex Sentence এ রূপান্তর করার সময় -
- In order to এর স্থলে In order that অথবা So that বসবে +  এরপর noun phrase + may/might বসবে। 
- যেমন: We plan carefully so that we may avoid mistakes.

• Active voice থেকে Passive voice করার নিয়ম:
- Active voice এর object টি passive voice এর subject হয়।
- Tense অনুযায়ী auxiliary verb বসে এবং মূল verb এর past participle হয়।
- Active voice এর subject টি passive voice এর object হয় এবং তার পূর্বে preposition (by, with, at, to, in বসে।

• Past Indefinite Tense এর active voice কে passive voice এ রূপান্তর করার সময় was/were + verb এর Past Participle বসে। 
- তাই was/were + verb এর Past Participle যুক্ত Passive Voice এর Active Voice Past Indefinite Tense এ হবে। 

•  মূল বাক্য past indefinite এবং বাক্যটির object 'The flute'.
- Passive voice করার ক্ষেত্রে 'The flute'- বাক্যের শুরুতে আসবে এবং এর পরে Tense অনুযায়ী Auxiliary verb 'was' বসবে।
- Auxiliary verb- এর পরে মূল verb এর Past Participle 'played' এবং এর সাথে 'on' বসবে।
- বাক্যটির Subject 'She' Passive voice- এ তা Object রূপে her হিসেবে বসবে।
- 'Her'- এর পূর্বে 'by' বসবে।

Active: She played on the flute.
Passive: The flute was played on by her.

Passive: The decision was made without any discussion.
Active: The authority made the decision without any discussion.

• Passive voice কে Active voice এ রূপান্তরিত করার নিয়ম: 
- Passive voice এর object‌ টি  Active Voice এর subject হয়,
- Tense অনুযায়ী Auxiliary verb বসে,
- মূল verb এর base form হয়,
- Passive voice এর subject টি Active voice এর object হয়,
- তার পূর্বে Preposition (By, with, at, to, in) উঠে যায়।

• কিন্তু,  Sentence-এ ক্রিয়ার কর্তা দেয়া না থাকলে Passive থেকে Active করার সময় একটি সুবিধাজনক কর্তা ধরে নিতে হয়।
- যেমন: someone, somebody, people, We, Some people, the authority ইত্যাদি 

নিয়মানুযায়ী, 
Passive: The puzzle was solved after hours of concentration. 
Active:
- Some people climbed the mountain after days of preparation.
- Somebody climbed the mountain after days of preparation.
- We climbed the mountain after days of preparation.

Active: Her writing embodies the essence of freedom.
Passive: The essence of freedom is embodied in her writing.

• Active থেকে passive রূপান্তর করার প্রক্রিয়া:
- Active voice এর subject টি passive voice এর object হয়ে যায়।
- Active voice এর object টি passive voice এর subject এ রুপান্তর হয়।
- মূল verb এর past participle হয় এবং subject ও tense অনুসারে auxiliary verb/be verb হয়।

• সাধারণত, আমরা জানি passive voice এ obj. এর পূর্বে by বসে।
- তবে কখনো কখনো অন্যান্য preposition ও ব্যবহৃত হয়ে থাকে।
- কিছু verb আছে যেগুলোর পরে passive এ in বসে।
- যেমন: Embody, Contain, Include ইত্যাদি।

• Present indefinite tense কে passive voice করতে হলে am/is/are + মূল verb এর past participle ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• আরো একটি উদাহরণ,
Active: 'My teacher embodies all the good qualities'.
Passive: 'All the good qualities are embodied in my teacher.'

• Than any other/ than all other যুক্ত Comparative Degree কে Positive Degree তে রুপান্তর করার নিয়ম:
• Structure: No other + any other/all other এর পরের অংশ + verb + so/as + Comparative Degree এর Positive form + as + প্রদত্ত sentence এর subject.

Comparative: The rose is more beautiful than all other flowers.
Positive: No other flower is as beautiful as the rose.

• More Example:
• Comparative: Misery is greater than any other mystery.
• Positive: No other mystery is so great as misery.

• since/as/when যুক্ত Complex sentence এর দুটি clause এর subject ভিন্ন হলে এবং প্রথম clause টিতে am/is/are/was/were/has/have had থাকলে, বাক্যটিকে simple sentence এ পরিণত করার নিয়ম হচ্ছে -
- প্রথম clause এর am/is/are/was/were এর পরিবর্তে being বসে,
- অথবা has/have had থাকলে having বসে,
- এছাড়া প্রথম clause টির আর কোনো পরিবর্তন হয় না,
- as/since/when উঠে যায়,
- এরপর দ্বিতীয় clause টি বসে।

• নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর হচ্ছে -
Complex: As the teacher was absent, the class was noisy.
Simple: The teacher being absent, the class was noisy.

• অন্যদিকে, 
• Since/as/when যুক্ত Complex sentence এর দুটি clause এর subject একই হলে এবং প্রথম clause টিতে am/is/are/was/were/has/have had থাকলে, বাক্যটিকে simple sentence এ পরিণত করার নিয়ম হচ্ছে -
- প্রথম clause এর as/since/when এর পরিবর্তে because of + সে clause এর subject এর possessive form + am/is/are/was/were এর পরিবর্তে being বসে
- অথবা has/have had থাকলে having বসে
- সে sentence এর বাকি অংশ বসে
- Comma বসে
- এরপর দ্বিতীয় clause টি বসে।Example:

Complex: Since he was weak, he could not work hard.
Simple: Because of his being small, he could not work hard.

Active: Let him finish the work.
Passive: Let the work be finished by him.

• Let যুক্ত Imperative sentence এর Active voice কে passive voice এ পরিণত করার নিয়ম:
- প্রথমে Let বসে।
- Object টির subject রূপে বসে।
- be বসে।
- মূল verb এর past participle form বসে।
- by বসে।
- Active voice এর subject টির Object রূপে বসে।

• Structure: Let + Object টির subject বসে + be বসে + মূল verb এর past participle form বসে + by + subject টির Object রূপে বসে।

• Complex sentence এ it is certain, it is surely, it is sudden থাকলে Simple sentence এ
- it is certain এর পরিবর্তে certainly হবে + এর পরের relative pronoun টি বাদ যাবে + বাকি sentence টি বসবে।

Complex: It is certain that he will win the prize.
Simple: Certainly, he will win the prize.

• অন্য দিকে, 
- it is certain এর পরিবর্তে certainly হবে,
- it is sudden এর পরিবর্তে suddenly হবে,
- it is surely এর পরিবর্তে surelyহবে।

যেমন:
Complex: It is certain that he will come here.
Simple: Certainly, he will come here.

Complex: It was sudden that he lost his mobile.
Simple: Suddenly, he lost his mobile.

Complex: It is sure that Riva has done it.
Simple: Surely, Riva has done it.

• Because of যুক্ত Simple Sentence কে Complex Sentence এ পরিণত করার নিয়ম:

• প্রথমে since বসে,
- subject বসে,
- verb বসে,
- Adjective/noun বসে,
- Comma বসে,
- অপর বাক্যটি বসে।

Simple: Because of their playing well, they won the game.
Complex: Since they played well, they won the game.

Simple: Because of their unity, they succeeded.
Complex: Since they were united, they succeeded.

• Perfect Participle যুক্ত Simple Sentence কে Compound Sentence এ পরিবর্তনের নিয়ম:
- প্রথমে Subject বসে,
- Perfect Participle এর past Perfect form বসে,
- and বসে,
- বাকী অংশ বসে।

Simple Sentence: Having prepared the dish, she set the lunch table.
Compound Sentence: She had prepared the dish and set the lunch table.

- প্রথমে Subject বসেছে।
- এ বাক্যে Perfect Participle হচ্ছে - Having prepared.
- যার past Perfect form হচ্ছে - had prepared.
- এরপর গঠন অনুযায়ী বাক্যের বাকী অংশ বসে।

• Complex: Though he was a rich man, he led a simple life.
• Compound: He was a rich man yet he led a simple life.

• Very few যুক্ত Positive Degree কে Comparative Degree-তে পরিণত করার নিয়ম:-
• Structure:
- প্রদত্ত Sentence-এর শেষের Subject + Verb 
- এরপর Positive Degree এর Comparative form 
- তারপর than any other / than most other +
- very few-এর পর থেকে verb-এর পূর্ব পর্যন্ত অংশ।

Positive: Very few boys are as industrious as Zaman.
Comparative: Zaman is more industrious than most other boys.

Active Voice: Nobody trusts a traitor.
Passive Voice: A traitor is not trusted by anybody.

• Active থেকে Passive করতে হলে,
- Active Voice এর Subject – Passive Voice- এ Object হয়।

- অতিরিক্ত be verb বসে এবং মূল Verb এর Past Participle বসে।
- Object এর আগে by বসে।

• এই হিসেবে "Nobody trusts a traitor." এর Passive Voice
- A traitor is not trusted by anybody.
-  Nobody = not anybody.
- আবার, No one/None = not anyone.

- When clause এ ছোট সময়/ বয়স/ ঋতুর উল্লেখ থাকলে, 
- When উঠে যায় + When এর পরে যে Subject ও Verb থাকে তা উঠে যায় + ছোট সময় বুঝালে at/in বসে, ঋতু থাকলে তার পূর্বে in বসে, বয়সের উল্লেখ থাকলে তার পূর্বে at the age of বসে + পরবর্তী clause অপরিবর্তিত থাকে।

• অন্যদিকে, 
• When দ্বারা সময় না বুঝিয়ে কোন কাজ চলা বোঝালে তখন,
- At the time of + when যুক্ত অংশের -ing যুক্ত ক্রিয়াটি বসে। 
- বাকি অংশ বসে। 

• Complex: When it was snowing, she went outside.
• Simple: At the time of snowing, she went outside.

Active: They saw the boy climb the tree.
Passive: The boy was seen to climb the tree by them.

• Help, Make, need, dare, bare, hear, feel, know ইত্যাদি causative verb গুলোর পর active voice এ bare infinitive হয় অর্থাৎ to উহ্য থাকে। 
- কিন্তু passive এ পরিবর্তন করবার সময় তাদের পর to বসাতে হয়।

• Causative verb যুক্ত বাক্যটির passive voice এ পরিণত করার নিয়ম -
- Object কে  sub + auxiliary verb + verb - এর past participle form + to +  মুল verb + by + sub কে object.

• Active voice: Sanzida helped me finish the work.
- Passive voice: I was helped to finish the work by Sanzida.

• Active: Years of malnutrition and deprivation made them look older. 
- Passive: They were made to look older by years of malnutrition and deprivation.

• So that যুক্ত complex কে simple করার নিয়ম:

- প্রদত্ত sentence এর প্রথম থেকে so এর পূর্ব পর্যন্ত বসে,
- so that থেকে many/might/can/could/ পর্যন্ত উঠে যায়,
- to বসে,
- প্রদত্ত sentence এর বাকি অংশ বসে।

Complex: He worked hard so that he could prosper.
Simple: He worked hard to prosper.

Complex: We eat healthy food so that we can stay fit.
Simple: We eat healthy food to stay fit.

• No other যুক্ত positive Degree কে Comparative Degree তে রুপান্তর করার নিয়ম:
- প্রদত্ত sentence এর শেষের subject + verb + positive degree এর comparative form + than any other + no other এর পর থেকে verb এর পূর্ব পর্যন্ত।
- Comparative degree তে সবচেয়ে বড় বুঝাতে than any other বা than all other ব্যবহৃত হয়। 
- Than all other এরপর plural noun বসে এবং than any other এর পর singular noun বসে।

Compound Sentence: It was very dark and we could not see anything.
