• প্রশ্ন প্রদত্ত বাক্যে help এরপর you ব্যক্তি বাচক তাই এরপর verb do বসবে।

• প্রশ্নে ভুল বাক্য চাওয়া হয়েছে। 
- কিন্তু নিয়মানুযায়ী সবগুলো বাক্য সঠিক।
- তাই উত্তর হবে - None above these।

• I +wish + that এর নিয়ম -

• Wish + (that) + past simple: I wish that I had a big house.
• Wish + (that) + would: I wish that the neighbours would be quiet!
• Wish + (that) + past perfect: I wish that I hadn't eaten so much yesterday!

• would rather অর্থ – বরং করব/বলব/যাব ইত্যাদি।
- would rather দিয়ে দুটি কাজের মধ্যে দ্বিতীয়টির চেয়ে প্রথমটি শ্রেয়, এ রকম বোঝায়।
- Would rather এর পরে Verb এর Present form হয়।

- যে sentence এ একটি Principal clause এবং এক বা একাধিক Subordinate clause থাকে, তাকে Complex sentence বলে। 
- Complex sentence এর subordinate clause এর শুরুতে সাধারণত if, though, although, as, because, since, so that, that, until, till, unless, when, why, who, which, where, how, before, after, whether, while বসে।
সুতরাং, নিয়মানুযায়ী -‘Wait here until I return’. হচ্ছে complex sentence.

• সঠিক বাক্যটি হবে - As soon as I came in, she left the room.
• As soon as যুক্ত বাক্য গঠনের নিয়মাবলী:
- as soon as এর পূর্বের অংশ past indefinite tense হলে পরের অংশও past indefinite tense হবে।

কোন বাক্যে infinitive দুই ভাবে ব্যবহৃত হতে পারে:

How to use 'prefer' in a sentence: 
- We use ‘prefer’ to say we like one thing or activity more than another. অর্থাৎ একটি জিনিসের চেয়ে অপর একটি জিনিসকে বেশি প্রাধান্য দেয়া এরকম অর্থ বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 
- Prefer (someone or something) to (someone or something else) অর্থাৎ যখন কোনকিছু/কারোর চেয়ে অন্য কিছু বা অন্য কাউকে পছন্দ করা হয় তখন prefer to বসে।
- অর্থাৎ - prefer এর পরে দুটি noun থাকলে দুটি noun এর মাঝে তুলনা বুঝালে তখন than না বসে to বসে। 
যেমনঃ I prefer watching movies to reading books. 

- অতএব ৪টি অপশনের মধ্যে সঠিক বাক্যটি হলো: Alam prefers pen to pencil.

বাক্যটি জন কিটসের লেখা Ode on a Grecian Urn কবিতার একটি বিখ্যাত লাইন থেকে নেয়া। 
- প্রদত্ত বাক্যে, Beauty এবং Truth দুটি শব্দই Abstract noun.

Truth:
- [ট্র্রথ্‌] (noun) (plural:  truths [ট্রুথ্‌জ্‌])
- (১) [uncountable noun] সত্যতা; যথার্থতা: the truth of a statement. moment of truth সংকট, পরীক্ষা বা আত্মোপলব্ধির মুহূর্ত; সত্যোপলব্ধির মুহূর্ত।
(২) [uncountable noun] সত্য; সত্য কথা: tell the truth.

Abstract Noun: 
- We define abstract nouns as nouns that you can’t directly experience by any of the human senses.
- These nouns represent an aspect, concept, idea, experience, state of being, trait, quality, or emotion.
- You may feel them emotionally, but not with your sense of touch.
- সহজ ভাষায় বলতে গেলে, যে Noun  গুলো ইন্দ্র্রিয়গ্রাহ্য বা  touchable  নয় সেগুলোই Abstract noun. Examples: Humor, Kindness, Intelligence ইত্যাদি।

Though/although = impossible / abnormal

- কোন বাক্যে, Though/although বসার অর্থ তার পরবর্তী অংশে এমন কিছু ঘটেছে যা impossible / abnormal বা অস্বাভাবিক। 
সুতরাং although এর সঠিক ব্যবহার হয়েছে Although he is young, he is very careful বাক্যে।
- Although শব্দের অর্থ যদিও। Although থাকলে দুইটি clause সাধারণত একই tense-এ থাকে এবং দুইটি বিপরীতধর্মী ধারণা প্রকাশ করে।
- Although দ্বারা দুটি clause যুক্ত হয় আর although বাক্যের শুরুতে ব্যবহৃত হলে দুটি clause এর মাঝে comma ব্যবহৃত হয়।

প্রদত্ত বাক্যের প্রথম অংশে বলা হচ্ছে, 
- ”যদিও সে দোষী ছিল,
পরবর্তী অংশে বলা হচ্ছে,
সে শাস্তি পায় নি।” দুটি আপাত: বিরোধী বাক্য। 
- অতএব সঠিক উত্তর হবে, although he was guilty, he was not punished.

• শূন্যস্থানে সঠিক উত্তর হবে - for. 
- কারন For- preposition টি period of time অর্থাৎ অনির্দিষ্ট সময় বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• For এর ব্যবহারঃ
- Period of time এর পূর্বে for বসে।
- Period of time হচ্ছে সেই সময়কাল যাকে সময় গণনার একক (সেকেন্ড, মিনিট, ঘন্টা, সপ্তাহ, মাস, বছর ইত্যাদি) দ্বারা গণনা করা হয়। যেমন-
- এক সেকেন্ড, এক মিনিট, এক ঘন্টা, এক সপ্তাহ, এক মাস, এক বছর, দুই বছর, ইত্যাদি।
-ব্যতিক্রম- (for) a long time (অনেক/দীর্ঘ সময়/ক্ষণ/দিন।) যেমন-
- We have been reading in this school for four years.
- He said nothing for a long time.
- Rima has been working here for eight months.

• অন্যদিকে 'Since' preposition টি point of time অর্থাৎ কোনো কাজ শুরুর নির্দিষ্ট সময় বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়‌।
- যেমন:
• He has been ill since last Friday.
• Fahema lives in Dhaka since 2016.

 

• সঠিক বাক্যটি হচ্ছে - Not only Kamran but also his parents are held responsible for this.
- not only... but also থাকলে but also এর পরের Noun/ pronoun (his parents- plural) অনুযায়ী Verb বসবে।
- sense অনুযায়ী বাক্যটি Passive, তাই are held হয়েছে।

• যেহেতু, Either ............ or, Neither ............ nor, not only ...... but also দ্বারা যুক্ত ২টি Noun এর শেষেরটির Number ও Person অনুযায়ী verb বসে।

• সেহেতু নিয়মানুযায়ী,
ক) Neither the teacher nor the students was conscious of their duty - বাক্যে was এর স্থলে were হলে বাক্যটি শুদ্ধ হত।
খ) Not only Akhi but also Elmee have completed her task - বাক্যে have এর স্থলে has হলে বাক্যটি শুদ্ধ হত।
গ) Either he or his brothers is responsible for the occurrence. - বাক্যে is এর স্থলে are হলে বাক্যটি শুদ্ধ হত।

• Direct Narration এ Let’s/ Let us থাকলে Indirect Narration এ Propose + to + Object বসে।
- এর পর Verb+ing বসে অথবা that + Subject + should + Main verb বসে।
- তাই নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর - He proposed to me helping them. 

সঠিক শব্দটি হলো: flying.

Participle:
- It is the form of a verb that usually ends in "ed" or "ing" and is used as an adjective:
- Participle একই সাথে Verb ও Adjective এর কাজ করে। 

Participle মূলত: তিন প্রকার: 
1. Present Participle. Ex: Do not disturb a sleeping dog. 
2. Past Participle. Ex: This is a book written by Charles Dickens. 
3. Perfect Participle. Ex: Having eaten rice, he went to bed. 

• We reached home after the sun had set. The simple form of the sentence is - The sun having set, we reached home.

• একটি simple sentence এ শুধুমাত্র একটি clause থাকে অর্থাৎ একটি subject এবং একটি finite verb থাকে,
- একটি ঘটনা ঘটার পরে আরেকটি ঘটনা ঘটে থাকলে, এমন sentence কে simple করার সময়, যে কাজটি আগে ঘটেছে সেটির verb টি ing যুক্ত হয়ে Non-finite verb হয়ে যায়।

- The sun having set, we reached home - বাক্যে ‘had set’ verb টি ing যুক্ত হয়ে’ having set’ Non-finite verb (perfect participle) হয়েছে।
- বাক্যে একটিই clause আছে, আর ‘The sun having set ‘clause নয় এটি একটি participle phrase.
- reached এখানে finite verb.

• Article এর নিয়মানুযায়ী,
- School, college, market, bed, hospital, prison, mosque, temple, church, court of ইত্যাদি মূখ্য উদ্দেশ্যে (যেটা যেটার জন্য নির্মিত) ব্যবহৃত হলে কোন Article বসে না।
যেমন:
- I go to school.
- He went to market.
- He went to hospital for treatment purposes.

•  কিন্তু স্থানগুলো অন্য উদ্দেশ্যে ব্যবহৃত হলে এদের আগে Article বসে।
যেমন:
- I went to the hospital to visit my uncle.

• সুতরাং, তাই  শূন্যস্থানে সঠিক উত্তর হবে -the.
- Complete sentence: Akash went to the hospital to visit his uncle.

• সঠিক উত্তর টি হবে - I couldn't help but overhear you saying something about a film festival.

• Cannot / can't help but - to be unable to refrain from or avoid; be obliged to - এর পরে verb এর base form বসে।
- Example sentence:
- Her parents live nearby, so she can't help but go there on holidays. 
- Bob is a tennis fan and can't help but travel to Wimbledon each year.

আবার, 
• Can't but এরপর verb এর base form বসে।
Example: She could not but congratulate him.

• কিন্তু,
Can't help এরপর verb + ing হয়।
Example: He cannot help telling a lie.

• শূন্যস্থানে সঠিক উত্তর হবে - he agrees.
- Complete sentence: I won’t go until he agrees.

• Till/unlill যুক্ত বাক্যের প্রথম clause টি future indefinite হলে , till/until এর পরের clause টি present indefinite হয়।
- Will you wait until I am ready?

অন্যদিকে,
• When, as, till, until ইত্যাদি যখন সময় অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয় তখন এগুলোর পুর্বে past form থাকলে পরের অংশে past indefinite এবং past perfect tense দুইটির ব্যবহারই শুদ্ধ।
• যেমন:
- We waited until she had finished speaking.
- এখানে until এর আগের অংশে past indefinite tense এবং পরের অংশে past perfect tense ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।

• আবার,
- We played until it got dark.
- এখানে, until এর আগে এবং পরে উভয় ক্ষেত্রেই past indefinite tense ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।

• সঠিক বাক্যটি হচ্ছে - Kamal accompanied by his friends is coming tomorrow.
• Along with, as well as, together with, including in, addition to, accompanied by ইত্যাদি দ্বারা দুইটি subject যুক্ত হলে verb হবে প্রথম subject অনুযায়ী।


• The man as well as his sons were present - were এর স্থলে was হলে শুদ্ধ হত।
• Two books in addition to a pen was given to each of them - was এর স্থলে were হলে শুদ্ধ হত।
• The principal along with his students have been planting trees for two hours - have been এর স্থলে has been হলে শুদ্ধ হত।

• A flock of birds হচ্ছে collective noun.
- Collective noun যখন collectively কাজ করে তখন সেটা singular noun হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- তাই শূন্যস্থানে singular verb হিসেবে is বসবে।
- Complete sentence: A flock of birds is flying in the sky.

• প্রশ্নে ভুল বাক্য কোনটি সেটি চাওয়া হয়েছে।
