দুই দেশের মধ্যে পূর্ব চুক্তির ভিত্তিতে ভুটানের আরও ১৬টি পণ্যে শুল্কমুক্ত প্রবেশাধিকার দিয়েছে বাংলাদেশ। বৃহস্পতিবার (৪ আগস্ট) অর্থ মন্ত্রণালয়ের অভ্যন্তরীণ সম্পদ বিভাগ (আইআরডি) এ সংক্রান্ত একটি আদেশ জারি করে, যা সোমবারে প্রকাশিত হয়।

আদেশে বলা হয়, ভুটান থেকে দুধ, প্রাকৃতিক মধু, গম বা মেসলিনের আটা, জ্যাম, ফলের জেলি, মার্মালেড, সিমেন্ট ক্লিংকার, পোর্টল্যান্ড সিমেন্ট, সাবান, পার্টিকেল বোর্ড, কাঠ, খনিজ জল, বায়ুযুক্ত জল, গমের ভুসি এবং কাঠের আসবাবপত্রসহ ১৬টি পণ্য আমদানিতে কোনো শুল্ক বা কর আরোপ করা হবে না।

তবে জাতীয় রাজস্ব বোর্ডের (এনবিআর) সংশ্লিষ্ট সূত্র জানায়, ভুটান থেকে বাংলাদেশ বেশি পণ্য আমদানি করে না। ফলে শুল্ক অব্যাহতি দিলেও সরকার খুব বেশি রাজস্ব হারাবে না।

Khayyam, which is named after the famed Persian poet and mathematician Omar Khayyam, is a Russian-built Kanopus-V Earth-observation satellite that can resolve features as small as 3.9 feet (1.2 meters) on Earth's surface, The Washington Post reported(opens in new tab) last week.
 
Before Khayyam's launch, Iran had just two operational satellites in space, according to the United States Institute of Peace: Sina 1, which launched on an apparent imaging and communications mission in 2005, and Noor 2, an imaging satellite that lifted off this past March.
