অনুজ্ঞা বা আদেশসূচক বাক্যঃ যে বাক্য আদেশ, অনুরোধ, উপদেশ, নিষেধ ইত্যাদি অর্থ প্রকাশ পায়, তাকে অনুজ্ঞা বাক্য বলে।

নির্দেশাত্নক বাক্যঃ যে বাক্য কোন বক্তব্য সাধারণভাবে বিবৃত বা নির্দেশ করা হয়, তাকে বর্ননাত্নক বা নির্দেশাত্নক বাক্য বলে।
যেমনঃ
- তোমার ভীত হওয়া উচিৎ নয়।
- উপকার করার অধিকার থাকা চাই। 
- তবে ওর ভিতর দিয়ে নাই গেলে।
- আপনাকে নিতে হবে।
- দেশের সেবা করা সকলের কর্তব্য।

যেমন: হাতে হাতে যে যুদ্ধ = হাতাহাতি, কানে কানে যে কথা = কানাকানি।
