- Hamlet যখ তার পিতার মৃত্যুতে অত্যন্ত মুষড়ে পড়েছিলো তখন তাঁর মা তাকে স্বান্তনা স্বরূপ উক্ত কথাটি বলে।
- এর দ্বারা Gertrude বলতে চেয়েছে, everyone dies, and there's no sense for Hamlet to continue grieving about it.

- অর্থাৎ, এই ট্র্যাজিডিটির প্লট তৈরি হয়েছে ব্রিটেনের এক রাজা এবং তার তিন কন্যার কাহিনী নিয়ে।

- 1603 থেকে 1625 সাল পর্যন্ত সময় কালকে ইংরেজি সাহিত্যের ইতিহাসে Jacobean Period হিসেবে বিবেচনা করা হয়।
- The age is named after King James I যিনি 1603-1625 সাল পর্যন্ত England এর উপর রাজত্ব করেছিলেন।
- The word 'Jacobean' is the latin version of ‘James’.

• Jacobean Age মূলত The Renaissance Period এর অন্তর্গত।
- The Renaissance Period এর ব্যাপ্তিকাল ছিল 160 বছর এবং চারটি ছোট যুগে বিভক্ত ছিল -
