- সাধারনত বাক্যকে কখন ( when), কোথায় ( where), কেন( why) ও কিভাবে (how) দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করলে উত্তর হিসেবে যে phrase পাওয়া যায় সেটি Advrbial phrase.

• উল্লিখিত বাক্যের went verb কে why দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করলে উত্তর হিসেবে পাওয়া যায় 'to gain more knowledge.'
- এখানে,   Went Verb এর উদ্দেশ্য বুঝানোর কারণে এটি Adverb Phrase of Purpose হয়েছে।

• Transformation এর নিয়মানুযায়ী,
- Negative এ cannot but থাকলে Affirmative এ এর পরিবর্তে must বসে।
- আর বাকি অংশ অপরিবর্তিত থাকে।
- Example -
Negative: You cannot but obey your parents.
Affirmative: You must obey your parents.

• নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর - You must obey your elders.

• Tag question করার নিয়ম-
- সাধারণত Tag question ব্যবহৃত হয় পূর্বে উল্লেখিত কোন উক্তি সত্য না মিথ্যা তা নিশ্চিত হওয়ার জন্য।
- Statement positive হলে tag question টা negative হবে।
- আবার statement negative হলে tag question positive হবে।
- Subject ও Tense অনুসারে auxiliary verb দ্বারা tag question তৈরি হয়।

• দেশের নাম Subject হিসাবে ব্যবহৃত হলে Tag Question-এ Subject হিসেবে she ব্যবহৃত হবে।
- আর Something/ nothing/ anything/ everything ইত্যাদি Statement-এর subject হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হলে Tag Question-এ Subject হিসেবে it ব্যবহৃত হয়।

- যেহেতু প্রশ্ন প্রদত্ত বাক্যটি affirmative এ আছে, তাই Negative Tag question হবে
- এবং বাক্যটি present indefinite tense হওয়ায় Subject ও Tense অনুসারে auxiliary verb অনুযায়ী সঠিক tag হবে - hasn’t she?
- Complete sentence: Bangladesh has six seasons, hasn’t she?

• সাধারণত must, ought to এবং should-এর মতো modal auxiliary গুলির কোন পরিবর্তন হয় না, যদিও কখনো কখনো Direct Speech এ Must থাকলে এই Must দ্বারা যদি কোনো ভবিষ্যৎ কাজের বাধ্যবাধকতা বুঝায় অথবা উপদেশ বুঝায়, তাহলে Indirect করার সময় would have to ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- Next থাকলে the following বসে।

• তাই এখানে He said that they would have to colour the house the following year. হবে সঠিক উত্তর।
