♦ Voice এর ক্ষেত্রে,

• Imperative sentence এর Active voice থেকে passive করার নিয়ম: 

• শুধু মূল verb দিয়ে শুরু হওয়া Active voice থেকে passive করার নিয়ম:
- প্রথমে Let not  বসবে।
- Active voice এর object টির subject রুপে বসবে।
- be বসবে।
- মূল verb এর past participle বসবে।

Structure: Let not + object টির subject হয় + be + মূল verb এর past participle.

Active Voice: Don't waste your time.
Passive Voice: Let not your time be wasted.

♦ Anybody, anyone, no one, nobody, none, neither যদি কোন statement এর subject রূপে ব্যবহার হয় তবে tag এর subject হিসেবে they বসবে। 

Example: None can do this, can they?

Complete sentence: Nobody went there, did they?

♦ One + should যুক্ত Active voice থেকে passive করার নিয়ম: 
- প্রথমে Active voice এর object টির subject রুপে বসবে।
- should be
- মূল verb এর past participle বসবে।

Structure: প্রথমে object টির subject রুপ হবে + should be + মূল verb এর past participle.
• প্রশ্ন প্রদত্ত বাক্যটির সঠিক passive form হবে - Parents should be taken care of.

♦ Narration এর নিয়মানুযায়ী,
- Direct speech এ said to থাকলে indirect speech এ তা পরিবর্তিত হয়ে told হবে এবং reporting verb এর tense অনুযায়ী indirect speech এ পরিবর্তন আসবে।
- কমার বদলে that বসবে।
- reporting verb এবং reporting speech উভয়েই past indefinite থাকলে, indirect করার সময় reported speech কে past perfect tense এ রূপান্তরিত করতে হবে।

• সুতরাং, নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর - Ruby told me that she had been ill.

♦ উল্লেখিত প্রশ্নের শূন্যস্থানে - was there বসবে।
-Complete sentence: There wasn't enough food, was there?

• Tag question এর ক্ষেত্রে It/There দ্বারা বাক্য শুরু হলে tag এর পর pronoun এর স্থলে There/It ই বসে।
- Statement negative হলে tag question টি affirmative হয়।
- Example: It's not a bad idea, is it?

♦ Imperative sentence এ 
- Reporting verb টি অনুরোধ বুঝালে order/command, উপদেশ বুঝালে advise, তা না হলে tell দ্বারা পরিবর্তিত হয়
- Inverted comma উঠে গিয়ে to বসে 
- reported speech এর মুল verb থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত বসে

Structure: Subject + request/ order/ advise/ tell + object (যদি থাকে) + to + reported speech এর মুল verb থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত বসে। 

• প্রশ্নে উল্লেখিত বাক্যটির সঠিক indirect speech হবে - The teacher ordered the students to go out of the class room.

• Active voice থেকে passive voice করার নিয়ম:

• Active voice এর object টি passive voice এর subject হয়।
- Tense অনুযায়ী auxiliary verb বসে।
- তারপর মূল verb এর past participle হয়।
- Active voice এর subject টি passive voice এর object হয়।
- তার পূর্বে preposition (by, with, at, to, in) বসে।
- Active Voice এ Auxiliary Verb হিসেবে did থাকলে Passive Voice এ এটাকে বাদ দিয়ে তার জায়গায় was/ were বসে আর মূল Verb এর Past Participle বসে।

• সুতরাং নিয়মানুযায়ী, 
Active voice: 'Did you eat the orange?'
Passive voice: Was the orange eaten by you?

Beat about the bush:
English Meaning: discuss a matter without coming to the point.
Bangla Meaning: ঘুরিয়ে কোথা বলা / পরোক্ষভাবে বলা।

Ex. Sentence: Quit beating about the bush and say what you want.
Bangla Meaning: ঘুরিয়ে পেঁচিয়ে না বলে কী চাও সরাসরি বলো।

• উল্লেখিত প্রশ্নের বাকি অপশন গুলো:
• Grasp all, lose all.
Bangla meaning: অতি লোভে তাতি নষ্ট।

• Eat less and gain more strength.
Meaning: উনোভাতে দুনো বল।

• An old bird is not to be caught with chaff.
- Bangla meaning: অভিজ্ঞ লোক সহজে বোকা বনে না বা ধোঁকা দেওয়া কঠিন।

♦ Complex to simple এর ক্ষেত্রে,

Subject + relative pronoun + adjective যুক্ত Complex sentence কে simple করার সময়,
- প্রথমে that এর পরিবর্তে a/an বসে।
- relative pronoun এর পরে adjective টি বসে।
- প্রদত্ত Subject টি বসে।
- প্রদত্ত sentence এর adjective এর পরের অংশ বসে।

Complex: The boy who is mysterious can make a good result.
Simple: A mysterious boy can make a good result.

♦ Voice এর ক্ষেত্রে,

• Quasi-passive যুক্ত Active voice কে passive এ রূপান্তর করার নিয়ম:

• প্রথম নিয়ম:
- Active voice এর subject টিই passive voice এ subject হিসেবে বসে।
- Tense অনুযায়ী Auxiliary verb বসে।
- Adjective টি বসে।
- when বসে।
- প্রথম subject অনুযায়ী it/they বসে।
- আবারো tense অনুযায়ী সাহায্যকারী verb বসে।
- মূল verb এর past participle বসে।

• দ্বিতীয় নিয়ম:
- Active voice এর subject টিই passive voice এ subject হিসেবে বসে।
- Tense অনুযায়ী Auxiliary verb বসে।
- মূল verb এর past participle বসে।
- Adjective টি বসে।

Active: Rice sells cheap.
Passive: Rice is cheap when it is sold.
Or,
Passive: Rice is sold cheap.

• Superlative থেকে comparative form করার নিয়ম হচ্ছে-

• প্রথমে Subject বসবে।
- verb বসবে।
-  Superlative এর comparative form বসবে।
-  of all থাকলে এর পরিবর্তে than all other বসবে।
- প্রদত্ত sentence বাকী অংশ।

Superlative: Rocky is the best of all men.
Comparative: Rocky is better than all other men.

• সাধারণত Tag question ব্যবহৃত হয় পূর্বে উল্লেখিত কোন উক্তি সত্য না মিথ্যা তা নিশ্চিত হওয়ার জন্য। 
- Statement positive হলে tag question টা negative হবে। আবার statement negative হলে tag question positive হবে। 
- Tag question এর নিয়মানুযায়ী বাক্যটি Negative হওয়ায় Tag question Affirmative হবে।
- বাক্যটি Present indefinite tense হওয়ায় Tag question এর ক্ষেত্রে does she হবে।
- Complete Sentence: Sohani doesn't like fish, does she?

♦ প্রশ্ন প্রদত্ত বাক্যটির সঠিক passive form হবে - I shall be helped by him.

• Future Indefinite tense এর Active voice থেকে passive করার নিয়ম:
- প্রথমে Active voice এর object টির subject রুপে বসবে।
- will be / shall be বসবে।
- মূল verb এর past participle বসবে।
- by বসবে।
- subject টির objective form বসবে।

Structure: object টির subject রুপ + will be / shall be + মূল verb এর past participle + by + subject টির objective form হবে।

• অপশনে সঠিক উত্তর না থাকায় প্রশ্নটি বাতিল করা হলো।

• Very few যুক্ত positive Degree কে Comparative Degree তে রুপান্তর করার নিয়ম:
- প্রদত্ত sentence এর শেষের subject + verb + positive degree এর comparative form + than most other + Very few এর পরের অংশ।
Example:
Positive: ‘Very few workers were as hard-working as Rity.'
Comparative: Rity was more hard-working than most other workers.

• Do or die.
Meaning: মন্ত্রের সাধন কিংবা শরীর পাতন।

• Better alone than in bad company.
- Bangla meaning: কুসঙ্গে থাকার চেয়ে একা থাকাও ভাল।

• A friend in need is a friend indeed.
- Bangla meaning: অসময়ের বন্ধুই প্রকৃত বন্ধু বা প্রয়োজনের সময় যাদের কাছে পাওয়া যায় তারাই প্রকৃত বন্ধু।

• Birds of a feather flock together.
- Bangla meaning: চোরে চোরে মাসতুতো ভাই।
