• প্রশ্নোল্লিখিত বাক্যটি  নিষেধ/উপদেশমূলক হওয়ায় said এর পরিবর্তে advised/forbade/ordered ব্যবহৃত হবে।
- প্রশ্নোক্ত বাক্যের indirect speech এ advised এবং ordered ব্যবহৃত হলে not to ব্যবহৃত হবে।
- কিন্তু forbade নিজেই না বোধক হওয়ায় এর পর not বসবে না শুধু to + verb বসবে।

• যেমন:
The principal said to the children, "Do not run in the corridors."
এর indirect speech হতে পারে।
1. The principal forbade the children to run in the corridors.
2. The principal dered/advised the children not to run in the corridors.
• যেহেতু প্রশ্নের অপশনে - The principal ordered the children not to run in the corridors. রয়েছে, তাই এটিই সঠিক উত্তর।

• আরো উদাহরণ:
• Direct speech: 'Don't waste your time' the boss said to the employees.
1- The boss ordered/advised the employees not to waste their time.
2- The boss forbade the employees to waste their time.

• Direct speech: John said to me, “Don’t conceal anything”.
- Indirect speech: John forbade me to conceal anything.

• Direct speech: My father said to me, “Do not waste your time.”
Indirect speech: My father forbade me to waste my time.

• The Teacher said to the students, “Do not make noise.”
1. The teacher ordered/advised the students not to make noise.
2. The teacher forbade the students to make noise.

• সঠিক বাক্যটি হবে - He's currently working at a school in Japan as an English teacher.
• Preposition এর নিয়মানুযায়ী, পাশাপাশি দুইটি স্থানের নাম উল্লেখ থাকলে ছোট স্থানের ক্ষেত্রে at এবং বড় স্থানের ক্ষেত্রে in বসে।
- এখানে স্কুলে কাজ করা বুঝাতে স্কুলের ভেতরে বা মধ্যে কাজ করছে এমন নির্দেশ করছে না, তাই এখানে at বসবে।
- আর এরপর যেহেতু অপেক্ষাকৃত বড় স্থানের নাম বা দেশের নাম এসেছে আই এর পূর্বে in বসেছে।

• Narration এর নিয়মানুযায়ী,

• Direct speech থেকে Indirect speech এ রূপান্তরের ক্ষেত্রে,
- Reporting verb এর subject বসে।
- Reporting verb say/said, tell/told (যদি থাকে) বসে।
- Inverted comma উঠে that বসে।
- Reported speech এর subject number/person অনুযায়ী পরিবর্তন করতে হবে।
- Reporting verb এর tense অনুযায়ী indirect speech এ পরিবর্তন আসবে।

• প্রশ্নে উল্লিখিত বাক্যটির Direct speech এ subject এরপর শুধু had আছে, তাই indirect speech এ had + past participle হবে।
- অর্থাৎ, had + had হবে।
- কিন্তু had + verb এর past participle থাকলে তা অপরিবর্তিত থাকবে।

• নিয়মানুযায়ী,
• The old man said, "I had a vast library in my youth."
- Indirect: The old man said that he had had a vast library in his youth.

• Gallantry (noun)
English Meaning: Courageous behaviour, especially in battle.
Bangla Meaning: সাহস; বীরত্ব।

• অপশনে উল্লিখিত শব্দগুয়লোর অর্থ - 
ক) Hostility (noun)
- বৈর; বৈরিতা; বৈরভাব; শত্রুতা; বিপক্ষতা।

খ) Peaceful adjective)
-  শান্তিপূর্ণ; শান্তিকামী।

গ) Courageous (adjective)
- সাহসী; নির্ভয়; বীরত্বপূর্ণ।

ঘ) Cowardice (noun)
- ভীরুতা; কাপুরুষতা।

• সুতরাং, বুঝা যাচ্ছে, উল্লিখিত অপশনগুলোর মধ্যে - Courageous শব্দটি Gallantry এর সমার্থক অর্থ প্রকাশ করছে।

• শূন্যস্থানে সঠিক উত্তর হবে - on.

• Preposition এর নিয়মানুযায়ী,
সাধারণত কোনো বই, বা ডকুমেন্ট বা যেকোনো কিছুর নির্দিষ্ট পৃষ্ঠা বুঝালে এর পূর্বে সবসময় at বসবে।
- যেমন: Open at the page 50.
- এখানে, নির্দিষ্ট করে ৫০ নাম্বার পৃষ্ঠা খুলতে বলা হয়েছে তাই at বসেছে।

কিন্তু, যদি সেই নির্দিষ্ট পৃষ্ঠাতে কোনো কিছুর উপস্থিতি নির্দেশ করে তাহলে at এর পরিবর্তে on বসে।
- যেমন: Please see the answer on page 50.
- এখানে, নির্দিষ্ট করে ৫০ নাম্বার পৃষ্ঠায় উত্তর দেখতে বলা হয়েছে তাই on বসেছে।

• প্রশ্নে উল্লিখিত বাক্যে বুঝানো হয়েছে যে, ২০০ নাম্বার পৃষ্ঠায় ক্যালকুলাসের সমস্যাটির সমাধান এবং বিস্তারিত পাওয়া যাবে।
-  যেহেতু নির্দিষ্ট পৃষ্ঠায় কোন কিছুর অবস্থান নির্দেশ করা হচ্ছে, তাই এখানে উত্তর হবে on.

• Enunciate  (verb)
English meaning: say or pronounce clearly.
Bangla Meaning: উচ্চারণ করা, সুস্পষ্টভাবে কোনো তত্ত্ব ব্যাখ্যা করা।

• অপশনে উল্লিখিত শব্দগুলোর মধ্যে - 
ক) Reprimand (verb transitive)
- কঠোর তিরস্কার করা।

খ) Articulate (verb transitive & intransitive)
- স্পষ্টভাবে (শব্দ) উচ্চারণ করা; স্পষ্টভাবে কথা বলা।

গ) Mumble (verb transitive & intransitive)
- অস্ফুট বা অস্পষ্টভাবে কিছু বলা; মিন মিন করা।

ঘ) Collapse verb intransitive)

• Direct Speech কে Indirect Speech এ পরিবর্তনের নিয়ম:
• Reported Speech এর person সর্বদা Reported verb এর উপস্থিত subject এর number, gender এবং person অনুসারে পরিবর্তিত হয়ে থাকে।
• Direct speech এ Reporting verb টি past tense এ হওয়ায়, Reported speech - ও past tense এ হবে।
- reported speech এর will এর পরিবর্তিত হয়ে would হবে, can হবে could.
- Said এর পর Indirect Speech এর নিয়ম অনুযায়ী that বসবে।

যেমন:
- Direct: She said to me, 'I shall help you.'
- Indirect: She said that she would help me.

- Confession - স্বীকারোক্তি; অপরাধ স্বীকার; নিজের দোষ বা অপরাধ নিজেই স্বীকার করা।

- Mobile - যা স্থানান্তরিত হতে পারে, চলমান, স্থিরভাবে এক জায়গায় থাকে না।

- আর নিজের নিজের দোষ বা অপরাধ নিজেই স্বীকার করে যে Testimony দেওয়া হয় তা হচ্ছে Confession.

English meaning: A government in which all are equal and rule equally/ a form of utopian social organization in which all are equal in social position and responsibility.
Bangla Meaning: ইউটোপিয়ান ঘরানার সামাজিক সংগঠন, যেখানে সবাই সমান, পদ ও দায়িত্বও সমান; সমকক্ষ ব্যক্তিদের কল্পিত সমাজ:

Example: He had a old dream of pantisocracy.

• Exclamatory sentence এর ক্ষেত্রে, direct speech থেকে indirect speech করার নিয়ম:
- Direct speech দ্বারা আনন্দ বুঝালে Reporting verb পরিবর্তিত হয়ে "exclaimed/exclaimed with joy" আর দুঃখ বুঝালে "exclaimed/exclaimed with sorrow/ grief" হয়।
- Inverted comma উঠে that বসবে।
- reported speech এর Subject বসে।
- Reporting verb অনুযায়ী reported speech এর verb বসবে।
- very/great বসবে।
- adjective বসবে।
-  বাকি অংশ (যদি থাকে)।

•  Direct Narration এ reporting clause (he said, said he) ইত্যাদি, reported speech এর প্রথমে, মাঝখানে অথবা পিছনে থাকতে পারে।
- কিন্তু indirect speech এ reporting clause সব সময় বাক্যের প্রথমে বসাতে হয়।
- Reporting verb টি past tense এ হওয়ায়, Reported speech - ও past tense এ হবে।
- প্রশ্নে উল্লিখিত বাক্যে Direct speech এ have আছে তাই indirect এ had হবে।

• নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর:
Direct Speech: "Alas! I have lost my wallet," he exclaimed.
Indirect Speech: He exclaimed with sorrow that he had lost his wallet.

• সাধারণত যাতায়াত মাধ্যম বুঝাতে by বসে।
- কিন্তু যাতায়াত মাধ্যম বুঝাতে যানবাহনের নামের পূর্বে determiner (my/a/the) থাকলে এদের পূর্বে on বসে।
- ব্যতিক্রম- car, taxi এর পূর্বে determiner থাকলে in বসে।

• প্রশ্নে উল্লেখিত বাক্যে যেহেতু Bike এর পূর্বে my আছে, তাই শূন্যস্থানে on বসবে।
