- অপর দিকে, Uncountable noun সবসময় singular হয় । যেমন: Milk, Water, Sugar, ইত্যাদি। অর্থাৎ এগুলোকে গণনা করা যায় না তবে , পরিমাপ করা যায়।

- Countable noun & Uncountable noun দুটোর সাথেই Some, determiner টা  বসানো যায়। 
- Countable noun যদি singular হয় তার পূর্বে বসে a অথবা an. 
- Countable noun যদি Plural হয় এবং বাক্যটি Affirmative বা হ্যাঁ বাচক হয়, তবে তার পূর্বে Some বসবে। 
- তবে, Countable noun যদি Plural হয় এবং বাক্যটি  Negative বা না বোধক হয় তবে তার পূর্বে সাধারণত Any বসবে। 
উদাহরণ: There are some sandwiches but there aren't any cakes. Are there any grapes?

- Perfect continuous tense এ Point of time অর্থাৎ নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের উল্লেখ থাকলে তার পূর্বে Since বসে। যেমন: Since 2004, Since morning ইত্যাদি।

Money= অর্থ । অর্থ গণনা করা যায় না। কিন্তু, টাকা, রুপি, ডলার এগুলো গণনা করা যায়।

Electricity= বিদ্যুৎ 

অপর দিকে, 
Suitcase গণনা করা যায়, ‍সুতরাং এটি countable noun. 
তবে, Luggage, Furniture এগুলো uncountable noun. 

Preposition of Place:

at for a POINT
in for an ENCLOSED SPACE
on for a SURFACE
