There was a small party following the ceremony - বাক্যতে following শব্দটি Preposition হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

-এইখানে Party এর সাথে অনুষ্ঠান বা, Ceremony এর সম্পর্ক বোঝাতে following শব্দটি ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে, অর্থাৎ following এইখানে Preposition হিসেবে কাজ করেছে। 
-Preposition, Noun বা, Pronoun এর পূর্বে বসে Sentence এ অন্যান্য পদের সাথে তাদের সম্পর্ক নির্দেশ করে।

Milk বা দুধ হচ্ছে Material Noun. 

- যে Word দ্বারা কোনো ব্যক্তি, বস্তু, প্রাণী, স্থান, গুণ, অবস্থা, পদার্থ, কোন কিছুর সমষ্টি, প্রভৃতির নাম বুঝায় তাকে Noun বলে। 
- সহজ ভাষায়, কোন কিছুর নামকেই Noun বলা হয়।
- যে Noun দ্বারা কোনো পদার্থকে ওজন করা যায় কিন্তু গণনা করা যায় না , তাকে Material Noun বলে ।
Example :Water , Gold , Iron , Oil etc.

That এবং which দুইটিই relative pronoun হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
অপশনে দ্বৈত উত্তর থাকায় বাতিল করা হয়েছে।

Relative pronouns introduce relative clauses.
The most common relative pronouns are who, whom, whose, which, that.
The relative pronoun we use depends on what we are referring to and the type of relative clause.

Collective Noun= Cattle, crowd, government, team, family, audience, committee, gang, staff, band, orchestra, choir and police.

যে Noun দ্বারা সমজাতীয় বা একজাতীয় কতিপয় কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুকে পৃথকভাবে না বুঝিয়ে তাদের অবিভক্ত সমষ্টিকে বুঝায়, তাকে Collective Noun বলে। Example-  committee, team, jury, crowd, audience, cattle etc. 

Material Noun= Gold, Silver, coal, rock, water, sunlight, leather, wood, Milk, Beef, Mutton. 
Abstract Noun= Anger, Beauty, Death, Love, Experience, Knowledge. 
Common Noun= Street, closet, bathroom, school, mall.

Adverbs of quantity: এই ধরনের বাক্যতে Adverb কি পরিমাণে, কতখানি এসব বোঝায়। বাক্যতে 'almost' শব্দটি দ্বারা টাকার পরিমাণকে বোঝানো হয়েছে, বিধায় শব্দটি হবে Adverb of quantity.

বাংলা অনুবাদ= নির্বাচনের সময় ঘনিয়ে আসছে।

যে সকল Word কোন Verb- কে Modify করে অর্থাৎ Verb- এর কাজটি কেমন করে, কখন, কোথায়, কিভাবে সম্পন্ন হয় তা নির্দেশ করে তাকে Adverb বলে ।
Examples:
The tea is very hot.
The boy is running so fast.

Obediently এর অর্থ আজ্ঞানুবর্তিতা; বাধ্যতা।
⇒ Obedient শব্দটি হচ্ছে adjective, কিন্তু যখন adjective এর পর 'ly' যুক্ত হয় , তখন শব্দটি adverb এ রূপ নেয়।  
⇒ yours চিঠির শেষে সমাদরসূচক প্রকাশভঙ্গিমা: yours sincerely/truly/obediently ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Salman sings well enough - বাক্যতে enough শব্দটি হচ্ছে an adverb. 
বাংলা অর্থ- সালমান ভাল গাইতে পারে। 

যে শব্দ কোন verb, adjective এবং অন্য কোন adverb এর ধরণ বা, গুনাগুণ নির্দিষ্ট করে বোঝায়, তখন তাকে adverb বলে। এই বাক্যতে enough দ্বারা sing শব্দটিকে modify করা হয়েছে।

Honesty (noun) [uncountable noun] সততা; সাধুতা; সত্যসন্ধতা; সত্যবাদিতা; ঋজুতা; অকপট্য।

- যে Word দ্বারা কোনো ব্যক্তি, বস্তু, প্রাণী, স্থান, গুণ, অবস্থা, পদার্থ, কোন কিছুর সমষ্টি, প্রভৃতির নাম বুঝায় তাকে Noun বলে।
- সহজ ভাষায়, কোন কিছুর নামকেই Noun বলা হয়।
- Noun- কে প্রধানত দুইভাগে ভাগ করা যায়। যথা- 
- Concrete Noun : যে Noun এর বাহ্যিক বা দৈহিক অবস্থিতি আছে এবং যাকে ইন্দ্রিয়ের দ্বারা উপলব্ধি করা যায় তাকে Concrete Noun বলে।
যেমন: boy, book ইত্যাদি।
- Abstract Noun:  যেসব noun বা বিশেষ্য পদ কোন ব্যক্তি, বস্তুর, স্থান সম্পর্কে এমন কিছু ধারণা, অনুভূতি বা বৈশিষ্ট্যকে নির্দেশ করে যা ইন্দ্রিয়গ্রাহ্য নয় তাদেরকে Abstract Noun বা ভাববাচক/ গুণবাচক বিশেষ্য পদ বলা হয়ে থাকে।
যেমনঃ Freedom, Love, Belief, Anger, Pleasure, etc. 

যেহেতু, Honesty দ্বারা গুণ বোঝায় এবং এটি ছোঁয়া যায় না, তাই একে Abstract Noun বলে।

I usually go to my friend's house. 
বাংলা অর্থ- আমি প্রায়ই আমার বন্ধুর বাড়ীতে যাই। 

যদি বাক্যতে regularly, usually, often, everyday, generally ইত্যাদি থাকে তাহলে sentence এর verb ফর্মটি present রূপ হবে।

I am writing a letter to my mother at this time. 
বাংলা অর্থ- এই মুহূর্তে আমি আমার মাকে চিঠি লিখছি। 

বাক্যতে যদি at this time, at present, at this moment ইত্যাদি থাকে, তাহলে Verb ফর্মটি Present Continuous হবে।

Don't make a noise while your mother is sleeping. 
বাংলা অর্থ- আপনার মা ঘুমানোর সময় আওয়াজ করবেন না। 

যদি বাক্যতে দুইটি বর্তমান ঘটনা when/while দ্বারা যুক্ত থাকে, তাহলে while/when এর পরবর্তী অংশের verb ফর্মটি present continuous হবে।

Have you finished the project yet? 
বাংলা অর্থ- আপনি কী প্রকল্পের কাজটি শেষ করেছেন? 

যদি বাক্যতে just, now, yet, never, ever, already ইত্যাদি শব্দ থাকে, তাহলে বাক্যটি present perfect tense এর নিয়মানুসারে হবে, এবং Verb এর ফর্মটি Past Participle রূপে বসবে।

We were planning for our work when the telephone rang. 
বাংলা অর্থ- আমরা আমাদের কাজের পরিকল্পনা করছিলাম যখন টেলিফোন বেজে উঠল। 

যদি সাধারণত কোন বাক্যতে at this time, at this moment, then থাকে তাহলে present continuous হবে। কিন্তু, যদি অতীতের দুইটি সমসাময়িক ঘটনা, while/when দ্বারা যুক্ত হলে while/when যুক্ত অংশটি হবে past continuous tense এবং এর পরের অংশটি হবে Past Indefinite. তবে, কখনো যদি when যুক্ত অংশটি Past indefinite হয়, তাহলে পরের অংশটি হবে Past continuous।

We decided to go out, when the sun was shining. 
বাংলা অর্থ- যখন সূর্য উঁকি দিল, আমরা বাহিরে বের হবার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছিলাম। 

যদি সাধারণত কোন বাক্যতে at this time, at this moment, then থাকে তাহলে present continuous হবে। কিন্তু, যদি অতীতের দুইটি সমসাময়িক ঘটনা, while/when দ্বারা যুক্ত হলে while/when যুক্ত অংশটি হবে past continuous tense এবং এর পরের অংশটি হবে Past Indefinite. তবে, কখনো যদি when যুক্ত অংশটি Past indefinite হয়, তাহলে পরের অংশটি হবে Past continuous।

বাংলা অর্থ- আমি যদি রাজা হতাম, গরিব-দুঃখীদের সাহায্য করতাম। 

If যুক্ত Sentence-কে Conditional Sentence বলা হয়। তবে কিছু কিছু ক্ষেত্রে If-এর পরিবর্তে had ও provide that ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Conditional Sentence চার প্রকার। যথা- First, Second, Third & Zero. 

Zero Conditional :
Universal Truth (চিরন্তন সত্য), Habitual Fact (অভ্যাসগত সত্য), Scientific Result (বৈজ্ঞানিক ফলাফল), অর্থ প্রকাশ করলে Zero Conditional হয়, অর্থাৎ If-এর পর দুটি বাক্যই Present Indefinite Tense হয়।
Structure : If Present Indefinite + Present Indefinite
Example- If you come, I may go. 

First Conditional : দুই ধরনের বাক্যে First Conditional হয়।
- এই মাত্র কাজ শেষ হয়েছে, কিন্তু ভবিষ্যতে ফলাফল পাওয়া যাবে এমন বাক্যের ক্ষেত্রে if-এর পরের Sentenceটি Present Perfect Tense হয়।
- ভবিষ্যতে হবে এমন দুটি কাজের ক্ষেত্রে if-এর পর Present Indefinite Tense হয়। 

Structure : If + Present Indifintie + Future Indefinite Tense.
Example : If you study more, you will pass in the exam.

Second Conditional :
If-এর পর Past থাকলে পরবর্তী Sentenceটিতে Past Conditinal, Would/Could/Might + verb-এর base form হয়।
Example- If I were a plant, I would love the rain.

Third Conditional :
If-এর পর Past Perfect Tense থাকলে পরবর্তী Sentenceটিতে Past Perfect Conditional, Would have, could have + verb-এর Past Participle form হয়।

Structure : If + Past Perfect Tense + Past Perfect Conditional
Example : If you had come, I would have gone there.

Conditional sentence এর নিয়মানুসারে, If I were a king, I would have helped the poor - একটি second conditional sentence.

Karim is looking forward to seeing you. 
বাংলা অর্থ- করিম তোমার সাথে দেখা করবার অপেক্ষায় আছে। 

⇒ বাক্যতে look forward থাকলে to+verb+ing যুক্ত হয়। এই কারণে, to seeing হবে, প্রশ্নে দেয়া বাকী অপশনগুলো হবে না। 
⇒ mind, cannot help, could not help, with a view to, look forward to, be used to, get used to, worth ইত্যাদি শব্দের পর কোন verb আসলে উক্ত verb এর পর ing যুক্ত হবে।

Parimol gave up playing cricket when he got married. 
বাংলা অর্থ- বিবাহের পর পরিমল ক্রিকেট খেলা ছেড়ে দিয়েছিল। 

যদি বাক্যতে gave up থাকে, তাহলে verb এর পর ing যুক্ত হবে। এইখানে playing, Gerund হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে। 

Example Sentence- I gave up studying when I got a job. 
বাংলা অর্থ- চাকুরী পাবার পর আমি পড়াশুনা করা ছেড়ে দিয়েছিলাম।

A reward has been announced for the students who have done good score in the examination. 
বাংলা অর্থ- যে সকল শিক্ষার্থীরা পরীক্ষায় ভাল করেছে, তাদের জন্য পুরস্কারের ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে। 

এই বাক্যতে who দ্বারা students কে বোঝানো হয়েছে, যা plural. তাই, পরবর্তী verb ফর্মটিও plural hobe, অর্থাৎ have বসবে।

We better discuss the schedule of our upcoming projects. 
বাংলা অর্থ-  আমাদের উচিত আসন্ন প্রকল্পগুলো নিয়ে আলোচনা করা। 

এইখানে had better এর স্থলে শুধু better ইউজ করা যায়, এমনকি better অধিক অর্থেও ব্যবহার করা যায়। এবং এইখানে verb এর present form বসবে। তাই discuss হবে সঠিক উত্তর।

A reward has been anounced for the students who have studied hard. 
বাংলা অনুবাদ= যে সকল ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা ভালমতো পড়াশুনা করেছেন, তাদের জন্য পুরস্কার ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে। 

প্রদত্ত বাক্যটিতে who দ্বারা যেহেতু  students কে বোঝানো হয়েছে, যা plural, তাই পরবর্তী verb টিও plural হিসেবে have বসবে।

Cannot / can't help but - to be unable to refrain from or avoid; be obliged to.
এর পরে verb এর base form বসে।

Example sentence:
Her parents live nearby, so she can't help but go there on holidays. 
Bob is a tennis fan and can't help but travel to Wimbledon each year.

কিন্তু,
Can't help এরপর verb + ing হয়।
Example: He cannot help telling a lie.

Can't but এরপর verb এর base form বসে।
Example: She could not but congratulate him.
