• Sequence of tense
- Principal clause -এর verb টি past tense -এ থাকলে sub-ordinate clause -এর verb টিও past tense হবে।
- সাধারণত, that, which, where, when, what, how, though, although, since, as, if, unless ইত্যাদির পরে sub-ordinate clause বসে।
- যেমন: I never thought I would see you again.

• Past indefinite tense যুক্ত Active voice -কে Passive voice -এ রূপান্তরের নিয়ম:
- Active Voice -এর object টি Passive voice -এর subject হয়।

• Quasi sentence
- যে sentence গঠনে active কিন্তু অর্থে passive বা অন্যের দ্বারা সংঘটিত হয় এমন বোঝায়, তাকে Quasi sentence বলে।
- অর্থাৎ, Quasi Passive মানে হলো half active ও half passive.
- এই ধরণের sentence -এ Quasi Passive Verb ব্যবহৃত হয়।
