- এটি রচনা করেন Thomas Norton এবং Thomas Sackville.

• Gorboduc:

• Elizabethan period: (1558 - 1603)
- এই যুগটি Queen Elizabeth I এর নামে নামকরণ করা হয়েছে।

- Alexander Pope রচিত এটি মূলত একটি Satirical poem.
- কবিতাটি ১৭২৮ সালে তিনটি বইতে প্রথম বেনামে প্রকাশিত হয়। পরবর্তীতে ১৭৪৩ সালে এটি চূড়ান্ত আকারে চারটি বইতে প্রকাশিত হয়।
- The poem is written largely in iambic pentameter.
