⇒ H  দ্বারা শুরু হওয়া কিছু শব্দে h উচ্চারিত হয় না, এবং এর পরিবর্তে একটি vowel sound উচ্চারিত হয়। এই ক্ষেত্রে article "an" ব্যবহার করা হয়, কারণ h উচ্চারিত না হওয়ায় শব্দটি একটি vowel sound-এ শুরু হয়।

- বাংলা অর্থ: অন্য শহরে যাওয়ার আগে তার একটি ভালো চাকরি ছিল।

⇒ একটি complex sentence-এর ভিতরে প্রশ্ন করার ধরন বা নিয়মকেই Embedded Question বলে।
যেমন: Can you tell me when you will come?

⇒ Embedded Question সবসময় একটি complex sentence-এর অংশ হয়।
- একটি principal clause (মূল বাক্য) এবং একটি subordinate clause (অধীন বাক্য) থাকে।
- Embedded Question সাধারণত Interrogative + assertive structure মেনে চলে।
- Subordinate clause-এ সরাসরি subject + verb থাকে, subject-verb inversion হয় না।
- প্রশ্নবোধক চিহ্ন (?) সবসময় principal clause-এর অনুসারে বসে। Subordinate clause-এর অনুসারে নয়।

ঘ) Can you tell me what your name is?

⇒ Inherent (adjective)
English Meaning: Existing as a natural and permanent quality of something or someone.

• Comparative Degree: 
দুটি noun বা pronoun- এর গুণ, দোষ, অবস্থা প্রভৃতির তুলনা করতে adjective- এর যে রূপ ব্যবহৃত হয় তাকে Comparative Degree বলে।

⇒Simple Sentence: একটি বাক্য, যেখানে মাত্র একটি subject এবং একটি finite verb থাকে এবং কোনো subordinate clause বা অতিরিক্ত clause থাকে না।
অর্থাৎ  একটি Simple Sentence এ শুধুমাত্র একটি clause থাকে যেখানে একটি subject এবং একটি finite verb থাকে।
- যে sentence-এ একটি subject ও verb থাকে, তাকে simple sentence বলে।

- I know the place of his living - এই বাক্যে,
- একটি subject (i) এবং একটি verb (know) রয়েছে।
- বাকি আপশনগুলোতে একাধিক subject ও verb রয়েছে।

প্রতিটি অপশন বিবেচনায় দেখি যে:
ক) "I know the place where he lives"- complex sentence.
খ) "It is the place where he lives" - complex sentence.

Full Sentence: "This is the first time you’ve visited here, isn’t it?"

Main Sentence: "This is the first time you’ve visited here"
- এটি একটি Affirmative Sentence, যেখানে main clause হলো "This is the first time". 
- "This is" → এখানে This হলো subject এবং is হলো verb।
- Tag Question এর নিয়মানুসারে, statement 'Positive' হলে Tag Question 'Negative' হয় এবং বাক্যে this থাকলে প্রশ্নে "it" ব্যবহার করতে হয়।
- তাই 'isn't it' হবে সঠিক ট্যাগ।
