• A, E, I, O, U এই পাঁচটি Vowel এর পূর্বে an বসে। 
- তবে প্রদত্ত বাক্যটিতে Article হিসেবে 'an' বসবে F.C.P.S শব্দের 'F' Consonant হওয়া সত্ত্বেও।
- 'F' উচ্চারণ করতে গেলে 'a' উচ্চারণ প্রথমে আসে, যা একটি Vowel. 

• সংক্ষিপ্ত রূপ অর্থাৎ abbreviation এর প্রথম অক্ষর vowel এর মত উচ্চারিত হলে তার পূর্বে an বসে।
আবার, abbreviation এর প্রথম অক্ষর consonant এর মত উচ্চারিত হলে তার পূর্বে a বসে।
যেমন- an M.B.B.S, an F.C.P.S, an M.A, a B.A, a B.SC.

• One of the যুক্ত Superlative Degree কে Comparative Degree তে রূপান্তর করার নিয়ম:

- প্রথমে প্রদত্ত Sentence- এর Subject ও Verb বসে,
- One of the উঠে যায়,
- Superlative Degree-এর Comparative form বসে,
- than most other বসে,
- প্রদত্ত Sentence- এর বাকী অংশ বসে।

Structure: Subject + Verb + Superlative Degree এর Comparative form + than most other + প্রদত্ত Sentence এর বাকী অংশ।

Superlative: He is one of the best players on the team.
Comparative: He is better than most other players on the team.

Superlative: He is one of the greatest scientists of all time.
Comparative: He is greater than most other scientists of all time.

• Than যুক্ত comparative sentence কে positive করার নিয়ম:

- প্রদত্ত sentence এর than এর পরের অংশ প্রথমে বসে।
- verb বসে।
- not বসে। (মূল sentence টি affirmative হলে কিন্তু মূল sentence টি negative হলে not উঠে যায়।)
- so বসে।
- comparative degree এর positive form বসে।
- as বসে।
- প্রদত্ত sentence এর প্রথম subject বসে।

• Affirmative sentence - এর positive degree - তে 'as...as' এবং negative sentence - এ 'so...as' ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Comparative: Lima is wiser than Liza.
Positive: Liza is not so wise as Lima.

Comparative: John is taller than David.
Positive: David is not so tall as John.

• Apostate:
English meaning: someone who has given up their religion or left a political party.
Bangla meaning: স্বমত বা স্বধর্ম বা স্বপক্ষত্যাগী (ব্যক্তি)।

• Agnostic
English meaning: someone who does not know, or believes that it is impossible to know, if a god exists.

• Before যুক্ত বাক্যের গঠন:
- Past perfect + before + Past indefinite
- 'Before' conjunction যুক্ত sentence এ before এর পুর্বে past perfect tense হয় এবং before এর পরে past indefinite হবে।

• Sentence Correction:
- They had left the party before we reached the venue.
- বাক্যটিতে before এর পূর্বে past perfect tense ও পরে past indefinite হওয়াতে সঠিক হয়েছে।

সেই অনুসারে অন্য অপশন গুলো ভুল।

• As if / as though এর পূর্বে present indefinite tense থাকলে as if / as though এর পরে past indefinite/perfect tense হয় এবং be verb থাকলে সবসময় were হয়।
যেমন:
- He speaks as if he were mad.
- He talks as though he were a child.

• আবার,
As if / as though এর পূর্বে Past indefinite tense থাকলে As if / as though এর পরে past perfect হয়। যেমন:
- He looked as if he had not slept for days.

Correct sentence: He acted as though he had won the competition.

• Tag question করার নিয়ম-
- সাধারণত Tag question ব্যবহৃত হয় পূর্বে উল্লেখিত কোন উক্তি সত্য না মিথ্যা তা নিশ্চিত হওয়ার জন্য।
- Statement positive হলে tag question টা negative হবে।
- আবার statement negative হলে tag question টা positive হবে।
- Subject ও Tense অনুসারে auxiliary verb দ্বারা tag question তৈরি হয়।
- দেশের নাম Subject হিসাবে ব্যবহৃত হলে Tag Question-এ Subject হিসেবে she ব্যবহৃত হবে।
- আর Something/ nothing/ anything/ everything ইত্যাদি Statement-এর subject হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হলে Tag Question-এ Subject হিসেবে it ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- যেহেতু প্রশ্ন প্রদত্ত বাক্যটি affirmative এ আছে, তাই Negative Tag question  হবে এবং বাক্যটি present indefinite tense হওয়ায় Subject ও Tense অনুসারে auxiliary verb অনুযায়ী সঠিক tag হবে -hasn’t she?

• Complex sentence:
- যে sentence এ একটি Principal clause এবং এক বা একাধিক Subordinate clause থাকে, তাকে Complex sentence বলে।
- Complex sentence এর subordinate clause এর শুরুতে সাধারণত if, though, although, as, because, since, so that, that, until, till, unless, when, why, who, which, where, how, before, after, whether, while বসে।

যেমন:
- The house that has a red roof is mine.
- After finishing his homework, Tom played video games with his cousins.
- Even though she was tired, she stayed up late to finish her project.

• Indispensable:
English meaning: Something or someone that is indispensable is so good or important that you could not manage without it, him, or her.
Bangla meaning: অপরিহার্য; অপরিহরণীয়।
