• Adjective clause:
- যে sub-ordinate clause কোনো noun/pronoun এর পরে বসে ঐ noun/pronoun কে modify করে তাকে Adjective Clause বলে। 
- অর্থাৎ noun এর post modifier হিসাবে adjective clause বসে।
- অর্থাৎ সংক্ষেপে Noun এর পর যদি কোন Clause বসে সেটি ওই noun কে modify করে তাহলে সেটি Adjective clause হবে।
- এখানে day হচ্ছে Noun এবং এর পরের clauseটি noun কে modify করছে, তাই এটি Adjective clause হবে।
