ন ব্যয় = অব্যয়।
- যার ব্যয় বা পরিবর্তন হয় না, অর্থাৎ যা অপরিবর্তনীয় শব্দ তাই অব্যয়।

বাংলা ভাষায় তিন প্রকার অব্যয় শব্দ রয়েছে-

অক্ষর নির্ধারণ করার ক্ষেত্রে দুটো বিষয় লক্ষণীয় - যতগুলো কার আছে এবং যতগুলো এক প্রয়াসে উচ্চারিত শব্দাবলী তার সমষ্টি হবে অক্ষর সংখ্যা।

বিভিন্ন অর্থে 'না' অব্যয়ের ব্যবহার-

নিষেধ অর্থে - এখন যেও না।
বিকল্প প্রকাশে - তিনি যাবেন, না হয় আমি যাব। 
আদর প্রকাশে বা অনুরােধে  আর একটি মিষ্টি খাও না খােকা। আর একটা গান গাও না।
সম্ভাবনায় - তিনি না কি ঢাকায় যাবেন।
বিস্ময়ে - কী করেই না দিন কাটাচ্ছ। 
তুলনায় - ছেলে তাে না, যেন একটা হিটলার। (অনুরূপভাবে, ছেলে তো না, একটা বিচ্ছু।)

অশুদ্ধ বাক্যের শুদ্ধরূপ-
ছেলেটি মারাত্মক মেধাবী। - ছেলেটি অত্যন্ত মেধাবী।
দরিদ্র শিক্ষার্থীদের ঝড়ে পড়ার সম্ভাবনা প্রচুর। - দরিদ্র শিক্ষার্থীদের ঝড়ে পড়ার আশংকা প্রচুর।
সে পান্তাভাত খেয়ে মাঠে গেলো। - সে পান্তা/ভাত খেয়ে মাঠে গেল।

অপশনে দেয়া phrasal verbs গুলোর অর্থ -

See out - last until or reach the end of a period of time.
Look out - be vigilant and take notice.
Make out - manage with some difficulty to see or hear someone or something.

বাক্যের অর্থের সাথে সঙ্গতি রেখে শূন্যস্থানে make out বসালে বাক্যটি যথার্থ হবে।
বাক্যের অর্থ - আমি দূর থেকে জাহাজটি খুব কমই দেখতে পাচ্ছিলাম। 

Cut back (phrasal verb) 
Meaning: To reduce the amount, size, cost etc of something; to reduce something
Bangla Meaning: ছেঁটে দেওয়া, কমানো; হ্রাস করা।

• Several major hospitals are cutting back on staff at the moment.
• Excuses do not work. You should try and cut back on it.
• Local authorities have been forced to cut back on expenditure.
• Her friends know that she is under stress and have warned her to cut back on her workload.

• Assonance, onomatopoeia and rhyme are used in poetry to create aesthetic effects.

Direct speech এ reporting verb past tense (said) হওয়ায়-
Direct speech এর ‘will’ এবং ‘am’ indirect speech এ ‘would’ এবং ‘was’ এ রূপান্তরিত হবে।
অর্থাৎ সঠিক indirect speech টি হবে-
My father said that he would have a cup of tea because he was not hungry.

প্রশ্নোল্লিখিত বাক্যের পরিপূর্ণ রূপ হবেঃ A canophilist went to kataban and found dogs had been kept in cages for sale.
এখানে Passive sense প্রকাশ করছে বিধায় had been kept হবে।

তাছাড়া এখানে reduced clause হিসেবে ব্যবহার করতে which বাদ দেওয়া হয়। কারণ, লিখিত ইংরেজির মূল উদ্দেশ্য হলো যথাযথ পরিমাণে শব্দ ব্যবহার করে যেন মনোভাব পূর্ণভাবে প্রকাশ করা যায়।

The United Nations has adopted a resolution stating that there should be an urgent solution to the Rohingya crisis to ensure safe and sustainable return of Rohingyas to their homes by creating a conducive environment inside Myanmar.

The resolution, co-tabled by OIC and European Union, received sponsorship from 104 member states, demonstrating strong and unified support in favour of the persecuted Rohingya Muslims and other minorities, who continue to suffer from human rights violations in Myanmar.

A total of 132 countries voted in favour of the resolution, while nine voted against and 31 abstained.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) announced a $6.5 billion initial package to address the immediate needs of its developing member countries (DMCs) as they respond to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

"This pandemic has become a major global crisis. It requires forceful action at national, regional, and global levels,” said ADB President Masatsugu Asakawa. “With our developing member countries, we are formulating an aggressive set of actions to combat the pandemic; to protect the poor, the vulnerable, and wider populations across the region; and to ensure economies will rebound as swiftly as possible. Based on close dialogue with our members and peer institutions, we are deploying this $6.5 billion rescue package to meet the immediate needs of our members.”
