শব্দ ও পরিভাষার মধ্যে সূক্ষ্ম পার্থক্য বিদ্যমান।
পরিভাষা কোনো জ্ঞান - ক্ষেত্রের বৈশিষ্ট্য - জ্ঞাপক ধারনার নাম বা সংজ্ঞার্থ আর শব্দ হচ্ছে ভাষায় ব্যবহৃত যে কোন অর্থবোধক ধ্বনি বা ধ্বনি সমষ্টি।

আধারাধিকরণ কারক তিন প্রকার
ঐকদেশিক - বিরাট স্থানের যে কোন অংশে ক্রিয়া সংঘটিত হলে তাকে ঐকদেশিক আধারাধিকরণ বলে।
যেমনঃ পুকুরে মাছ আছে।
অভিব্যাপক - উদ্দিষ্ট বস্তু যদি সমগ্র আধার ব্যাপ্ত করে বিরাজমান থাকে, তাকে অভিব্যাপক আধারাধিকরণ বলে।
যেমনঃ তিলে তৈল আছে।
বৈষয়িক - বিষয় বিশেষে বা কোন বিশেষ গুণে কারও কোন দক্ষতা বা ক্ষমতা থাকলে সেখানে বৈষয়িক অধিকরণ হয়।
যেমনঃ আমাদের সেনারা সাহসে দূর্জয়, যুদ্ধে অপরাজেয়।

Let K be Kalam's age and D be his daughter's age
Five years ago, K-5 = 2(D-5)
K - 2D = -5 ....(1)
and their ages are in the ratio 11:6.
i.e., K/D = 11/6
6K = 11D
⇒ K = 11D/6 ....(2)
Sub. K = 11D/6 in (2)
⇒ (11D/6) - 2D = -5
⇒ 11D - 12D = -30
⇒ -D = -30
⇒ D=30
Thus, the age of his daughter is 30 years.
Now, K = 11 x 30/6 = 55 years
Hence the age of Kalam is 55 years.

Let the present age of Jolly and lopa be 13X and 11X respectively.
Given, Jlly's age 4 years hence and lopa's age 4 years ago in the ratio 15:9.
That is,
(13X + 4)/(11X - 4) = 15/9
⇒ 9(13X + 4) = 15(11X - 4)
⇒ 117X + 36 = 165X - 60
⇒ 48X = 96
⇒ X = 2.
Now, required ratio is (13X-4)/(11X + 4)
= 13(2) - 4/11(2) + 4
= 22/26
= 11/13.
Hence the answer is 11:13.

Let 'a' be the side of the 1st triangle.
Area = [√3/4] x a² and perimeter = 3a.
Perimeter of 1st triangle 3a = 24m and a = 8m
Area₁ = [√3/4] x a²
[√3/4] x 8²
= 1.732 x 16 m²
Perimeter of 2nd triangle 3A = 36m and A = 12m.
Area₂ = [√3/4] x 12²
= 1.732 x 36 m²
Required difference = 1.732 x 36 m² - 1.732 x 16 m²
= 1.732(36 - 16)

Dimension of the corridor = 6m x 24 m
Area of the corridor = 6 x 24 m².
It is given that 100 square marbles are needed to cover the corridor of area 6 x 24 m².

Let the x, x + 2, x + 4 and x + 6 be the 4 consecutive odd integers.
We have to find the lowest integer x.
It is given that the average of these numbers is 24.
i,e., (x + x + 2 + x + 4 + x + 6)/4 = 24
⇒ 4x + 12 = 24x4
⇒ 4x = 84
⇒ x = 84/4
= 21
Hence, the answer is 21.

Average weight of 15 girls = 24 kg
Total weight of 15 girls = 24 x 15 = 360 kg
Average after including a new girl = 24 + 3 = 27 kg

Let the denominator of the required fraction be X.
Given that,
the numerator of a fraction is 3 less than its denominator;
then its numerator becomes X-3.

If we add 10 to the numerator(X-3), original fraction (X-3)/X is increased by 1(3/7) (i.e., 10/7).
