• শূন্যস্থানে সঠিক উত্তর হচ্ছে - for.

• Appetite - the feeling of wanting something very much বা (বিশেষত খাদ্যের জন্য) জৈব আকাঙ্ক্ষা; ক্ষুধা।
- Appetite এর পর appropriate preposition হিসাবে for ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• প্রশ্নে উল্লেখিত বাক্যটি Present continuous tense এ রয়েছে।

• Active থেকে passive রূপান্তর করার প্রক্রিয়া:
- Active voice এর subject টি passive voice এর object হয়ে যায়।
- Active voice এর object টি passive voice এর subject এ রুপান্তর হয়।
- মূল verb এর past participle হয় এবং subject ও tense অনুসারে auxiliary verb/be verb হয়।

• Present continuous tense যুক্ত active voice যে passive voice এ রূপান্তরিত করার নিয়ম -
• Active Voice: Subject + is/am/are+ verb+ ing + object
• Passive voice: Object is/am/are being V3+ by + subject

• সুতরাং, নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর - A delicious meal is being cooked by the chef in the kitchen.

Refine (verb transitive)
English meaning: remove impurities or unwanted elements from (a substance), typically as part of an industrial process.
Bangla Meaning:  শোধন/বিশুদ্ধ করা,পরিমার্জিত/পরিশুদ্ধ/সুসংস্কৃত করা।

Synonyms: Filter (বিশোধন করা), Purify (পরিষ্কার করা), Process (প্রক্রিয়া), Cleanse (সাফ সুতরো করা)।
Antonyms: Dirty (নোংরা করা), Pollute (অপবিত্র করা), Taint (দূষিত করা), Defile (অপবিত্র করা), Besmirch (বিকৃত করা)।

• Already, just, yet recently, lately, ever, just now, still ইত্যাদি হচ্ছে  present perfect tense indicator বা নির্দেশক। 
- অর্থাৎ বাক্যে yet, just, just now, recently, already, lately, ever, just now, still ইত্যাদি থাকলে নির্দেশক শব্দগুলো থাকলে বাক্যটি সাধারণত present perfect tense এ হয়।

• Present perfect tense এর  structure:
- Subject+ has/have +Verb এর past participle + object.
- নিয়মানুযায়ী যেহেতু প্রশ্নে উলেখিত বাক্যটিতে yet রয়েছে, তাই সঠিক বাক্যটি হবে - I haven't made up my mind about the job offer yet.

• সাধারণত নিয়ম অনুযায়ী-
Subject + relative pronoun + past participle complex sentence simple sentence এ রূপান্তরের নিয়ম-
(i) প্রথমে subject বসে + (ii) relative pronoun উঠে যায় + (III) auxiliary verb উঠে যায় +(iv) sentence এর বাকী অংশ বসে।

Note: অনেক সময় relative pronoun + past participle object এর পরে বসে।
- সেক্ষেত্রে নিয়মটি নিম্ন রূপ :

(i) Relative pronoun এর পূর্ব পর্যন্ত বসে +
(II) Relative pronoun + auxiliary verb উঠে যায় + (iii) বাকী অংশ অপরিবর্তিত অবস্থায় বসে।

Complex: I bought the car which was imported from Japan.
Simple: I bought the car imported from Japan.

• "Expand" - প্রসারিত করা বা হওয়া, ছড়ানো বা ছড়িয়ে পড়া; প্রস্ফুটিত হওয়া; বিস্তারিত হওয়া।

• অন্য অপশন গুলোর মধ্যে - 
ক) Increase - বৃদ্ধি করা বা পাওয়া; বাড়া বা বাড়ানো; বর্ধিত করা/হওয়া। 
খ) Bloat - স্ফীত করা বা হওয়া
গ) Compress - একত্র ঠাসা বা চাপা; সংক্ষিপ্ত করা; চাপ দিয়ে ছোট করা, সংকুচিত করা।
ঘ) Prolong - প্রলম্বিত/দীর্ঘায়িত/বিস্তৃত/প্রসারিত করা:

• সুতরাং, শব্দের অর্থগুলো বিশ্লেষন করলে দেখা যায়, উল্লেখিত অপশনগুলোর মধ্যে - Compress শব্দটি Expand এর বিপরীত অর্থ প্রকাশ করে।

• He was born after the death of his father.
- এই বাক্যে 'after' হচ্ছে preposition.
- যে Word কোন Noun বা Pronoun এর পূর্বে বসে Sentence এর অন্য কোন Word এর সাথে সম্পর্ক স্থাপন করে তাকে Preposition বলে।
- এখানে after শব্দটি 'the death of his father' - noun phrase এর পূর্বে বসে Sentence এর অন্যান্য Word এর সাথে সম্পর্ক স্থাপন করেছে তাই এটি Preposition.

• প্রশ্নে উল্লেখিত অপশন গুলোর মধ্যে -
ক) Deform (Verb) - বিকৃত/বিকলাঙ্গ করা।
খ) Deformity (Noun) -  বিকৃতি; বৈকৃত্য; অঙ্গবৈকল্য; অঙ্গবিকৃতি; বিকলাঙ্গতা;
গ) Deformed (Adjective) (participial adjective) (শরীর বা অঙ্গ সম্বন্ধে; লাক্ষণিক মন সম্বন্ধে) বিকৃত; বিকলাঙ্গ; কুগঠিত; অস্বাভাবিক; কদাকার
ঘ) Deformation (Noun) অঙ্গবিকৃতি; আকৃতির বিকৃতি।

• সুতরাং, উল্লেখিত অপশন গুলোর মধ্যে  - Deformed হচ্ছে adjective.

• Who যুক্ত active voice কে passive voice এ রূপান্তর করার নিয়ম-
- Structure: Who এর পরিবর্তে By whom + tense ও person অনুযায়ী Auxiliary verb + object এর subject + verb এর past participle form + ?.
- সুতরাং, নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর হচ্ছে - By whom is the band Coldplay led?

শূন্যস্থানে সঠিক উত্তর হবে -  have finished.
- Complete sentence: We will discuss the next steps, after we have finished the meeting.

• After এর আগের অংশ Present Indefinite বা Future Indefinite হলে পরের অংশ Present Perfect tense হয়।
- আর after এর পূর্বে যদি বাক্য Past indefinite tense হয় তবে after এর পরে past perfect tense হবে৷
- এখানে, After এর পূর্বে  যেহেতু Future Indefinite রয়েছে তাই পরের অংশ Present Perfect tense হবে।

• Thrifty (adjective)
English Meaning: Using money and other resources carefully and not wastefully.
Bangla Meaning: মিতব্যয়ী।

অন্য অপশন গুলোর মধ্যে - 
• Waster - অপব্যয়ী  বা অপচয়ী লোক।
• Cruel -  নিষ্ঠুর; নির্দয়।
• Generous - উদার; সহৃদয়।
• Mean - মধ্যপথ; মধ্যপন্থা।

অপশন অনুসারে সঠিক উত্তর - Mean.

• অপশনে সঠিক উত্তর না থাকায়, উত্তর বাতিল করা হয়েছে।

•The making of doll is an interesting job. Here the underlined parts are respectively - Verbal noun, adjective/ participle.
• কোন বাক্যের Verb + ing - এর পুর্বে the এবং পরে of থাকলে তাকে Verbal Noun বলে।
- The + verb+ing + of = verbal noun.
- Verbal Noun দ্বারা Noun এর কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়।
- নিয়মানুযায়ী making is the example of verbal noun
- কারণ, making এর পূর্বে the ও পরে of বসেছে। 
- তাই The making of doll is an interesting job এই বাক্যে making একটি Verbal Noun.

• অন্যদিকে, 
 • Participle:
- It is the form of a verb that usually ends in "ed" or "ing" and is used as an adjective:
- Participle একই সাথে Verb ও Adjective এর কাজ করে। 

- সুতরাং, The making of doll is an interesting job - এই বাক্যে interesting হচ্ছে participle.
- এখানে  'interesting' job (noun) কে modify করেছে বিধায় এটি adjective.

• যে শব্দ noun বা pronoun এর পূর্বে বসে তার সাথে বাক্যের অন্যান্য শব্দের সম্পর্ক নির্দেশ করে তাকে preposition বলে।
- অতিক্রম করে বুঝাতে past শব্দটি Preposition হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- 'The river flows past the small town, creating a picturesque scene.' এই বাক্যে 'past' শব্দটি noun এর পূর্বে বসে বাক্যের অন্য শব্দের সাথে সম্পর্ক নির্দেশ করেছে।
- সুতরাং, এ বাক্যে past শব্দটি preposition হিসাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।

• Dichotomy (noun)

English Meaning: The division of two things that are completely different.
Bangla Meaning: দ্বিবিভাগ; দ্বিবিভাজন; (সাধারণত) পরস্পরবিরোধী দুই ভাগে বা জোড়ায় বিভক্ত করা: the dichotomy of truth and falsehood.

Synonyms: Division (বিভাজন; ভাগ; বণ্টন), Separation (বিচ্ছিন্নকরণ; পৃথককরণ), Split (বিভাজন), Disunion (অনৈক্য), Differences of opinion (মতের অমিল)। 
Antonyms: Agreement (ঐক্য), Likeness (সাদৃশ্য; মিল), Similarity (আদল; অভিন্নতা), Accord (সঙ্গতি), Resemblance (সদৃশতা)।

• Linking verb:
- যে সকল verb সাধারণত subject ও Subjective complement এর মধ্যে যোগসূত্র স্থাপন করে তাদেরকে Linking verb বলে।
- Linking verb-এর complement হিসেবে সাধারণত adjective বসে৷
- Subject এবং subjective complement এর মধ্যবর্তী verb কে linking verb বলে৷
- অবশ্যই মনে রাখতে হবে - Linking verb হচ্ছে actionless.
 
• Turn, be, become, look, seem, remain, appear, get, grow etc. সাধারণত Linking verb হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- কিন্তু এগুলো বাক্যে ব্যবহারে ভিন্নতার কারণে Action verb ও হতে পারে। যেমন: 

• Example: 
• The doctor felt the pulse of the patient. (Action Verb) 
- The patient felt nervous.  (Linking Verb)
                
• He looked at the picture. (Action Verb)
- He looked tired. (Linking Verb)
 
• They grew vegetables. (Action Verb)
- They grew angry. (Linking verb)

• Please, see, watch, feel, hear, make, bid, know, need, but, dare, let, had rather, had sooner, would better, would rather, than, except, can, could, shall, should, will, would, may, might, must এসব এর পর infinite (to) উহ্য থাকে এবং verb এর present form বসে।
- সুতরাং, সঠিক বাক্যটি হচ্ছে - I watched it happen.

Example: 
⇒ I heard the baby cry for his food.
- বাক্যে heard বসাতে verb এর present form বসেছে।

⇒ He did not let me play the guitar. 
 - বাক্যে let বসাতে verb এর present form বসেছে।

• The + superlative degree যুক্ত বাক্যকে কে Positive করার গঠন হচ্ছে -
- No other + No other + Superlative degree এর পরবর্তী অংশ + verb + as/so + superlative degree এর positive form + as + subject হয়।

• নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর - No other desert in the world is as hot as the Sahara Desert.

• The child with bright blue eyes smiled warmly at her mother. Here the underlined part is - Preposition phrase.

• এটি একটি preposition এবং adjective phrase উভয়ই। 
- এখানে আন্ডারলাইন কৃত অংশটুকু The child (noun) কে মডিফাই করছে তাই এটা adjective phrase/ prepositional phrase হবে।
- When a prepositional phrase acts upon a noun, we say it is behaving adjectivally because adjectives modify nouns. 
- যদি কোন phrase, preposition দিয়ে শুরু হয়ে তার পূর্ববর্তী noun কে modify করে, তবে সেটি  preposition এবং adjective phrase উভয়ই হবে।

• যেহেতু অপশনে শুধু preposition phrase রয়েছে, তাই এটিই উত্তর হবে। 

• Comparative Degree তে than many other/ than most other থাকলে Superlative করার সময় the + superlative degree + ‍Singular Noun বসে।
- Structure: Subject + Verb + one of the + Comparative Degree-এর Superlative form + most other/ few other এর পরের অংশ।

• সুতরাং, নিয়মানুযায়ী - Sarah is one of the brightest students in the class.

 • Those pronoun এবং adjective হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হওয়া parts of speech. 
- কিন্তু pronoun কখনো noun কে modify করে না, Pronoun গুলো যদি noun কে modify করে তবে তা adjective এ পরিণত হয়।

• যে সকল শব্দ Noun-এর পূর্বে বসে ঐ Noun-কে সরাসরি নির্দেশ করে, তাকেই Demonstrative Adjective বলে।
- Noun-কে Which one (কোনটি) দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করলে যে জবাব পাওয়া যায়, সেটাই Demonstrative Adjective.
- এক্ষেত্রে, Adjective ও Noun পাশাপাশি বসবে।
- অর্থাৎ একটি বাক্যে Demonstrative Adjective সব সময় কোন Noun-এর আগে বসে। 

• Those mountains in the distance are breathtaking; we should go hiking there.
- এই বাক্যে 'Those' হচ্ছে Adjective কারণ এখানে those তার পরে অবস্থিত noun mountains কে modify করেছে। 

• Suffix
- এর অর্থ,  ’প্রত্যয়’ যা শব্দের শেষে যুক্ত হয়ে অর্থবোধক নতুন শব্দ তৈরি করে।
- Survival (আগমন) এর মূল শব্দটি হল Survive যার বেঁচে/টিকে থাকা।
- মূল শব্দের সাথে -al Suffix টি যুক্ত হয়ে Survival হয়েছে।

• Prefix
- ইংরেজি 'Prefix' অর্থ উপসর্গ।
- এগুলো ‍মূলত: শব্দের শুরুতে যুক্ত হয়ে নতুন শব্দ তৈরী করে এবং ভিন্নার্থ প্রদান করে।

• উল্লেখিত অপশন এর বাকি শব্দ গুলো Prefix যোগে গঠিত - 
• Maladroit = (Mal + adroit) - অনিপুণ; কৌশলী নয় এমন।
• Bicycle - Bi + cycle (বাইসাইকেল)।
• Amnesia - মৌলিক শব্দ এর অর্থ যথাক্রমে স্মৃতিভ্রম।

• Complex sentence: 
- যে sentence এ একটি Principal clause এবং এক বা একাধিক Subordinate clause থাকে, তাকে Complex sentence বলে। 
- Complex sentence এর subordinate clause এর শুরুতে সাধারণত if, though, although, as, because, since, so that, that, until, till, unless, when, why, who, which, where, how, before, after, whether, while বসে।
- সুতরাং, নিয়মানুযায়ী -Although she was tired, she stayed up to finish her project হচ্ছে complex sentence.

ক) They went for a walk in the park - Simple sentence.
গ) Read attentively - Imperative sentence.
ঘ) He went to the store and bought some groceries - Compound sentence.

• শূন্যস্থানে সঠিক উত্তর হবে - neglecting.
- Completing Sentence: I could never approve of her neglecting the responsibilities towards her family.

• Possessive adjective এর পর gerund বসে৷
- preposition এবং gerund (verb + ing) এর মাঝে Possessive Adjective বসে।
- structure: preposition + Possessive Adjective + gerund (verb + ing).
- যেমন- প্রশ্ন প্রদত্ত বাক্যে her হলো possessive adjective; তাই এরপর gerund হিসাবে neglecting বসেছে।

• সাধারণত, The number of যুক্ত বাক্যের গঠন হচ্ছে - 
• Structure: The Number of + Plural Noun + Singular Verb. But, A number of + plural Noun + plural verb.

• যেহেতু প্রশ্ন প্রদত্ত বাক্যে - The Number of আছে তাই Verb‌ হবে singular is এবং noun টি হবে plural.
- নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর - The number of tigers is decreasing day by day.

• Subject যখন নিজে কাজ না করে অন্যকে দিয়ে কাজ করিয়ে নেয় তখন এই অর্থে causative verb ব্যবহৃত হয়। 
- Help, Get, Have, Let, Make ইত্যাদি বহুল প্রচলিত causative verb.

• Causative verb হিসাবে 'Make' এর ব্যবহার - 
- Make এরপর কোনো ব্যক্তি বা বস্তু থাকলে verb এর base form বসে।

• Die (verb)

• Die এর adjective form হচ্ছে - Dead -(মৃত; মরা; নিষ্প্রাণ)
- Death -(মৃত্যু; মরণ; জীবনহানি) হচ্ছে এর noun.

• Deed (noun) - কার্য; ক্রীড়া।

• After এর আগের অংশ Present Indefinite বা Future Indefinite হলে পরের অংশ Present Perfect tense হয়।
- আর after এর পূর্বে যদি বাক্য Past indefinite tense হয় তবে after এর পরে past perfect tense হবে৷

• প্রশ্ন প্রদত্ত বাক্যে, After এর পূর্বে  যেহেতু Future Indefinite রয়েছে তাই পরের অংশ Present Perfect tense হবে।

• শূন্যস্থানে সঠিক উত্তর - the party.

• কিছু কিছু verb - যেমন - Reach, resemble, violate, discuss, resign, sign, investigate, recommend, order, command, enter, ইত্যাদি verb গুলো transitive বলে এদের পরে কোনো preposition বসে না।

- তাই নিয়মানুসারে শূন্যস্থানে - the party বসেছে।

Synonyms: Deny (অস্বীকার করা), Repudiate (নিজের বলে অস্বীকার করা), Contradict (অস্বীকার করা), Challenge (প্রত্যাখান করা), Dispute (বিবাদ করা)।

• A participle is a verb that ends in -ing (present participle) or -ed, -d, -t, -en, -n (past participle). Participles may function as adjectives, describing or modifying nouns.
- Participle একই সাথে Verb ও Adjective এর কাজ করে।

Participle মূলত: তিন প্রকার: 
1. Present Participle. Ex: Do not disturb a sleeping dog. 
2. Past Participle. Ex: This is a book written by Charles Dickens. 
3. Perfect Participle. Ex: Having eaten rice, he went to bed. 

Holding a paintbrush, she carefully applied strokes of color onto the canvas. - এখানে, Holding দ্বারা noun - paintbrush কে modify করা হয়েছে তাই এটি adjective এর কাজ করছে।
verb+ing যখন adjective এর কাজ করে তখন তাকে present participle বলা হয়।

•  Despite/ in spite of/ notwithstanding যুক্ত Simple Sentence কে Compound করতে হলে --
i) Despite/ in spite of/ notwithstanding যুক্ত Phrase টাকে Clause বানিয়ে বাক্যের শুরুতে বসাতে হবে।
- এ Clause টা বসানোর সময় অন্য Clause টার Tense কে অনুসরণ করতে হবে।
- অন্য Clause টা Past Tense হলে এটাও Past Tense হবে। 
ii) মাঝখানে Conjunction- but বসবে। 
iii) অন্য Clause টা বসবে।

• In spite of/ despite এর পরিবর্তে Compound Sentence এ but বসে।
- বিপরীতধর্মী অবস্থা হলে Compound Sentence এ but বসে।
- সুতরাং, নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর - She was sincere but she could not reach her goal.

• Positive meaning-এ cause-effect (কারণ-ফলাফল) বুঝাতে so কিংবা such ব্যবহৃত হয়
- এমন ক্ষেত্রে সাধারণত adjective এর পূর্বে so এবং noun এর পূর্বে such ব্যবহৃত হয়৷
- too ব্যবহৃত হয় না-বোধক অর্থ প্রকাশে;
- very দ্বারা কারণ-ফলাফল (cause effect) প্রকাশ করা হয় না।

• Affix (verb transitive)
- affix something (to) (আনুষ্ঠানিক) আযুক্ত/যুক্ত/সংযুক্ত করা; জুড়ে দেওয়া।
- affix a seal/stamp to a document; affix one’s signature to an agreement.

• যেমন: 
- She affixed a stamp to the envelope.
- The sticker must be affixed to your windshield.

• সুতরাং, নিয়মানুযায়ী শূন্যস্থানে to বসবে।
- Complete sentence: She carefully affixed the stamp to the envelope before dropping it into the mailbox.

•  Infinitive হচ্ছে verb এর base form অথবা to + base form।
• Infintive দুই রকম হতে পারে-
১. To-যুক্ত infinitve এবং
২. To-বিহীন infinitive বা Bare Infinitive.

• Let-এর পরে Verb-এর Bare Infinitive (to-বিহীন infinitive form) বসে।
- তাই,roam  verb-টি to-বিহীন infinitive form বসবে।

সুতরাং, সঠিক উত্তর - Eshat let her cat roam outside.

• Abscond (verb intransitive)

English Meaning: To escape and hide somewhere, especially because you have stolen something.
Bangla Meaning: (with) (from) ফেরার হওয়া; আত্মগোপন করা।

Other Forms:
- Absconder (noun) ফেরারি।

Example Sentence: 
1. I cannot abandon my family nor abscond from my home just like that,’ he said.
2. The accountant absconded with the cash from the safe.

• ​Swarm - (of something) a large group of insects, especially bees, moving together in the same direction.
- Bangla Meaning; জাঁক, পাল, দল.
- A swarm of bees diligently collected nectar from the flowers. Here 'swarm' is a - Collective noun.

• Collective Noun:
- A Collective Noun is the name of a number (or collection) of persons or things taken together and spoken of as one whole.
- যে সকল Noun দ্বারা সমজাতীয় কিছু ব্যক্তি, বস্তুর সমষ্টিকে বোঝায় তাদেরকে Collective Noun বলে।
- অর্থাৎ কিছু Common Noun এর সমষ্টিকেই collective noun বলে।
- কিছু collective noun হচ্ছে - cattle, herd, army, public, library, jury, committee, crew, majority, minority etc.

• Relative pronoun (who, whom, which, what, when, whose, how, that) থাকলে Antecedent (Relative pronoun এর পূর্বের Noun/pronoun) অনুযায়ী verb বসে।
যেমন:
- It is I who am to blame.
- It is you who are to leave.
- It is he who is to go.

- প্রশ্ন প্রদত্ত বাক্যে who এর পূর্বে Antecedent ‘I’ থাকায় শূন্যস্থানে am বসবে।
- Complete sentence: It is I who am responsible for my own happiness.

• Singular Number এর শেষে f/fe থাকলে f এর পরিবর্তে v বসে এবং তারপর es যোগ করে plural করতে হয়।
- যেমন- wife - wives, leaf -leaves

• কিন্তু Singular Number এর শেষে যদি ief, if, oof, ff, eef থাকে, তবে Plural করার সময় f এর কোন পরিবর্তন হয় না এবং শুধু s যোগ করে Plural করতে হয়।
যেমন- belief - beliefs.

• Verbose (adjective): 

English Meaning: Using or expressed in more words than are needed.
Bangla Meaning: বাগাড়ম্বরপূর্ণ; শব্দাড়ম্বরপূর্ণ: a verbose speech/speaker/style.

Synonyms: Wordy (অনেক শব্দে বা কথায় প্রকাশিত), Talkative (বাচাল), Jabbering (দ্রুত এবং এলোমেলো কথা বলা), Garrulous (অকারণে বকবক করা), Rambling (অসংলগ্ন কথা)।
Antonyms: Succinct (সংক্ষেপে স্পষ্টভাবে প্রকাশিত), Laconic (অল্পকথায় প্রকাশিত), Compact (সংক্ষিপ্ত), Concise (মূল কথা), Brief (স্বল্প এবং পরিমার্জিত)। 

Other Forms:
- Verbosely (adverb) বাগাড়ম্বরপূর্ণরূপে।

• শূন্য স্থানে সঠিক উত্তর হবে - were.
- Complete sentence: All but one were killed.

• but (ছাড়া অর্থে) preposition হিসাবে ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং স্বাভাবিক ভাবে preposition এর পরের অংশ দ্বারা কখনো verb নিয়ন্ত্রিত হয় না। 
- তাই, এর আগের অংশ অনুযায়ী verb বসে। 
- যেহেতু, প্রদত্ত প্রশ্নে but এর পূর্বে all রয়েছে, তাই এরপরে plural verb বসবে।

• অন্যভাবে বলা যায়, 
- যদি দুটো Noun/Pronoun- but  দ্বারা যুক্ত হয়, তাহলে দেখতে হবে but এর আগের শব্দ নাবোধক (none, nothing etc.) না কি হ্যাঁবোধক (everyone, all etc.) ।
- যদি না-বোধক হয়, তাহলে শেষের subject অনুসারে verb বসে।
- None but the graduates are allowed to apply for the post.

• আর যদি হ্যাঁবোধক হয়, তাহলে but এর আগের শব্দ অনুসারে verb বসে।
যেমন- All the birds but one were dead.
