- "Provided that" means "on the condition that" or "only if"
- Structure: প্রথম Clause + উক্ত word + ২য় sentence.
- N.B. প্রথম Clause টি Future indefinite এবং ২য় sentence টি present indefinite হবে।

• Other Options:
Let alone - Used for negation (He won’t succeed, let alone shine → irrelevant here).
Bangla meaning: না ঘাঁটান, হস্তক্ষেপ না করা।

As if - Suggests an unreal comparison (He will shine as if he works hard → illogical).
Bangla meaning:  যেন।

As wish - Grammatically incorrect (no such phrase in English).
Bangla meaning: ইচ্ছামত।

• Parallelism এর নিয়ম অনুসারে,
- Both...and, Not only.... but also, Either...or, Neithert...nor ইত্যাদি Correlatives এর উভয় পাশে সমজাতীয় Parts of speech বসে।
- প্রদত্ত বাক্যের Not only অংশে speaks Spanish আছে তাই পরবর্তী অংশে understands French হবে।

• Use of Not only --- but also:
- not only যদি Subject এর আগে বসে তাহলে but also ও Subject এর আগে বসবে।
- not only যদি Object এর আগে বসে তাহলে but also ও Object এর আগে বসবে।
- not only যদি Verb এর আগে বসে তাহলে but also ও Verb এর আগে বসবে।

• Second Conditional এর নিয়ম অনুসারে:
- দুটি clause এর যেকোন একটিতে If দিয়ে clause টি শুরু হবে।
- If যুক্ত clause টি Past Indefinite Tense হয়। 
- পরবর্তী clause টিতে Subject এর পরে would/ could/ might বসে।
- Verb এর Base form বসে।

• Structure: If + past indefinite + subject + would/ could/ might + verb এর base form + extension.

• Note: 'If' clause এ be verb হিসেবে সর্বদাই were হবে, If না থাকলে শর্তযুক্ত অংশটি were দ্বারা শুরু হবে।

Correct Sentence: If it rained tomorrow, we would cancel the picnic.

• Parrallelism এর নিয়মানুসারে,
- And, or, but, be verb ইত্যাদির আগেও যা বসে পরেও তা বসে, অর্থাৎ, সমজাতীয় parts of speech বসে।
- আবার, Both...and Not only.... but also, Either...or, Neithert...nor ইত্যাদি correlatives এর উভয় পাশে সমজাতীয় parts of speech বসে।
- প্রদত্ত বাক্যের or এর আগের অংশে read books আছে তাই পরবর্তী অংশে do something হবে।

Correct Answer: During the weekends, I typically read books or do something that makes me happy.

 - Let দিয়ে Passive voice এর বাক্যটি শুরু হবে।

- মূল verb এর past participle form বসে।
- অনেক ক্ষেত্রে Active voice এর subject কে object করার সময় by ছাড়া অন্য preparation বসে। যেমন: to, at, on, with, for ইত্যাদি।
- Active voice এর subject টি Passive voice এ object হিসেবে বসে।

Active voice: Send me a letter.
Passive voice: Let a letter be sent for me.

• Direct Speech এ আনন্দ বুঝালে:
- Subject + Reporting verb পরিবর্তিত হয়ে Exclaim/ Exclaimed with joy বসে। (দুঃখ বুঝালে Exclaim/ Exclaimed with sorrow or grief বসে।)
- Inverted comma উঠে গিয়ে that বসে।
- Reported speech এর subject বসে।
- Reporting verb অনুযায়ী reported speech এর verb বসবে।
- very/ great 
- adjective বসবে।
- বাকি অংশ (যদি থাকে)।

Direct: The students said, "Hurrah! Our team has won the game."
Indirect: The students exclaimed with joy that their team had won the game.

• Optative sentence এর Direct speech থাকে Indirect speech-এ রূপান্তর এর নিয়ম:
- Reporting clause এর Subject বসে।
- Reporting verb এর পরিবর্তে wish/ pray বসে।
- Inverted comma উঠে গিয়ে that বসে।
- Reported speech এর subject বসে।
- may/ might বসে।
- Reported speech এর মুল verb থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত বসে।

Direct: Father said to me, "May you pass the examination."
Indirect: Father prayed that I might pass the examination.

• বাক্যে ক্রিয়ার কর্তা উহ্য থাকলে passive থেকে active করার সময় একটি কর্তা যেমন: Someone, Somebody, People, The authority ইত্যাদি ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
- Steal এর Past Participle Form- stolen.
- Someone/ Somebody এর সাথে has বসে।

Active Voice: His laptop has been stolen from the library.
Passive Voice: Someone has stolen his laptop from the library.
