• Comparative Degree + than all other/ than any other) থাকলে (the + superlative degree) হয়।
- the + superlative degree এর পর Singular Noun বসে।

• Structure:
- প্রথম Subject প্রথমেই বসে
- এরপর Verb +  the + Comparative Degree-এর Superlative form +  Singular Noun বসে
- সব শেষে  than all other/ than any other এর পরের অংশ।

• নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর -
Comparative: The Pacific Ocean is deeper than all other oceans in the world. 
Superlative: The Pacific Ocean is the deepest ocean in the world.

• নিয়মানুযায়ী, সঠিক উত্তর হবে - None of the above.
- Complete sentence: Pass me the pen, will you?
- অপশন গুলোতে "will you" না থাকায় None of the above উত্তর হবে।

• Tag question করার নিয়ম -
- সাধারণত Tag question ব্যবহৃত হয় পূর্বে উল্লিখিত কোন উক্তি সত্য না মিথ্যা তা নিশ্চিত হওয়ার জন্য।
- Statement positive হলে tag question টা negative হবে। আবার statement negative হলে tag question positive হবে।

• Imperative Sentence হলে Tag- এ will you বসে।
- যেমন: Open the door, will you?

• Let’s বা Let us থাকলে Tag –এ shall we বসাতে হয়।
- যেমন:
- Let’s play football, shall we?
- Let’s play a chess match, shall we?

• One of the থাকলে যুক্ত superlative sentence কে Positive করার Structure হচ্ছে -
- প্রথমে very few বসে
- Superlative degree-এর পরের অংশ
- verb-এর plural form
- as +superlative degree-এর positive form + as
- প্রদত্ত sentence-এর Subject

- সুতরাং, নিয়মানুযায়ী -
Superlative: Dhaka is one of the busiest cities in Bangladesh.
Positive: Very few cities in Bangladesh are as busy as Dhaka.

• Complete Sentence: She hardly goes out these days, does she?

• hardly, scarcely, seldom ইত্যাদি কোনো sentence- এ থাকলে, ওই sentence 'negative' expression দেয়।
- এর ফলে প্রশ্ন প্রদও বাক্যটির tag 'affirmative' হয়েছে।
- অর্থাৎ, Tag question এর নিয়মানুযায়ী বাক্যটি Negative হওয়ায় Tag question Affirmative হয়েছে।

• সাধারণত Tag question ব্যবহৃত হয় পূর্বে উল্লেখিত কোন উক্তি সত্য না মিথ্যা তা নিশ্চিত হওয়ার জন্য। 
• Statement 'positive' হলে tag question টা 'negative' হবে। আবার statement 'negative' হলে tag question 'positive' হবে।

• No other যুক্ত positive Degree কে Comparative Degree তে রুপান্তর করার নিয়ম:
- প্রদত্ত sentence এর শেষের subject + verb + positive degree এর comparative form + than any other + no other এর পর থেকে verb এর পূর্ব পর্যন্ত।
- Comparative degree তে সবচেয়ে বড় বুঝাতে than any other বা than all other ব্যবহৃত হয়। 
- Than all other এরপর plural noun বসে এবং than any other এর পর singular noun বসে।

• Example:
Positive degree: No other wood burns as pretty as it.
Comparative degree: It burns prettier than any other wood.

• সুতরাং, নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর - Kathmandu is more crowded than any other town in Nepal.
- এখানে crowded এর comparative হচ্ছে more crowded.

• The meaning of "Salacious" is - Lustful or lecherous.

• Salacious (adjective)
English Meaning: (of stories, pictures, etc.) encouraging sexual desire or containing too much sexual detail.
Bangla Meaning: (কথাবার্তা, বই, ছবি ইত্যাদি) অশ্লীল; অশালীন; অশোভন; রুচিবিগর্হিত; কুরুচিপূর্ণ; কামোত্তেজক।

Example Sentence: 
1. The papers concentrated on the more salacious aspects of the case.
2. The titillating subject brought the crowds in, no doubt, but the film is not salacious.

• Terrible (adjective)
English Meaning: Very bad or unpleasant; causing fear or dread; extreme or severe in a negative sense.
Bangla Meaning: ভীষণ; ভয়াবহ।

Synonym:
Awful - ভয়ানক; ভীষণ; ভয়াবহ; ভয়ঙ্কর।
Horrendous - পৈশাচিক; ভয়াবহ; বীভৎস; ভয়ংকর; নিদারুণ; ভীষণ।
Dreadful - ভয়ঙ্কর; খুব খারাপ; অপ্রীতিকর; নিরানন্দ।

Antonym:
Pleasant - সুখাবহ; মনোরম; মনোজ্ঞ; সুখদ; সুখকর; সুপ্রিয়।
Delightful - আনন্দদায়ক; আনন্দকর।
Enjoyable - আনন্দদায়ক।

Example Sentence:
1. The hurricane's impact was so terrible that it left the entire city in ruins.

• Rubric (Noun)
English Meaning: A title or set of instructions written in a book, an exam paper, etc; a heading on a document; a set of instructions or rules.
Bangla Meaning: 
(১) লাল রঙে বা বিশেষ মুদ্রাক্ষরে মুদ্রিত শিরোনাম।
(২) বিধান; নির্দেশ; ব্যাখ্যা।

Example Sentence: 
1. Ms. Estrin grabbed a book for Chloe and gave her a classroom rubric before making her announcements.
2. It is usually discussed under the rubric of 'functional obesity.

• শূন্যস্থানে সঠিক উত্তর হবে - is there any?
- Complete Sentence: There is no book left in stock, is there any?

• Tag question এর নিয়মানুযায়ী বাক্যটি Affirmative হওয়ায় Tag question Negative- এ হয়েছে।
• 'There' দিয়ে statement শুরু হলে positive tag এর ক্ষেত্রে "is there any" এবং negative tag এর ক্ষেত্রে "isn't there" হয়।

• Tag question এর নিয়ম সমূহ:
- Affirmative statement- এ Negative 'Tag' এবং Negative statement- এ Affirmative 'Tag' ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- Tag question-এর পূর্বে অর্থাৎ, statement-এর শেষে কমা এবং Tag question- এর শেষে প্রশ্নবোধক চিহ্ন বসে।
- Tag question- এর কর্তা সব সময় Pronoun-এ ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Simple to Complex:
Simple: Having seen the movie, they discussed it.
Complex: When they had seen the movie, they discussed it.

Structure:
• Simple Sentence to Complex Sentence: (Having + Verb এর past participle form যুক্ত)
• Structure: Having এর পরিবর্তে When বসে + Subject + had + Verb এর past participle form + বাকী অংশ।

Simple: Having seen the movie, they discussed it.
Complex: When they had seen the movie, they discussed it.

- এ বাক্যে প্রথমেই Having এর পরিবর্তে When বসেছে।
- তারপর Subject - they বসেছে।
- এরপর had + Verb এর past participle form - seen বসেছে।
- বাকী অংশ অপরিবর্তিত রয়েছে।

• এ জাতীয় আরোও একটি উদাহরণ - 
- Simple: Having told this, he went away.
- Complex: When he had told he went away.

- Simple: Having done this, he went away.
- Complex: When he had done this he went away.
