♦ Peter Bell A poem by William Wordsworth: 
- This is a long narrative poem.
- কাহিনীর শুরুতেই দেখা যায়, চাঁদের আলোতে নির্মমভাবে সে একজন গাধাকে প্রহার করছে।
- কবিতায় মূলত: দেখানো হয়, Peter Bell একজন hard-hearted sinner. অনুশোচনায় দগ্ধ হয়ে সে নিজেকে পরিবর্তন করতে চায়।

• William Wordsworth:
- তিনি জন্মগ্রহণ করেন April 7, 1770, Cockermouth, Cumberland, England.
- তাকে 'Poet of Nature' বলা হয়।
- তাকে  Lake poet বলা হয়, কারণ তিনি North England এর Lake District এ জন্মগ্রহণ করেন।
- Wordsworth was born in the Lake District of northern England, that's why he is called Lake Poet.

• তাঁর বিখ্যাত কবিতা:

- কবি আশাবাদ ব্যক্ত করেন তার সন্তানের শৈশব ভিন্ন রকম হবে এবং সে হবে "child of nature".

- তিনি একজন English lyrical poet, critic এবং philosopher.
- His Lyrical Ballads, written with William Wordsworth, heralded the English Romantic movement, and his Biographia Literaria (1817) is the most significant work of general literary criticism produced in the English Romantic period.
