তৎসম শব্দঃ যেসব শব্দ সংস্কৃত ভাষা থেকে সোজাসুজি বাংলা ভাষায় এসেছে এবং যাদের রূপ অপরিবর্তিত রয়েছে সেসব শব্দকে তৎসম শব্দ বলা হয়।
'তৎসম একটি পারিভাষিক শব্দ। এর অর্থ - তৎ (তার) + সম (সমান) = তার সমান অর্থ্যাৎ, সংস্কৃতের সমান।

অর্ধ-তৎসম শব্দঃ বাংলা ভাষায় কিছু সংস্কৃত শব্দ কিঞ্চিৎ পরিবর্তিত হয়ে ব্যবহৃত হচ্ছে। সেগুলোকে অর্ধ-তৎসম শব্দ বলা হয়।

Interrogative বাক্যের passive voice interrogative বাক্যই হয়।
বাক্যের প্রথমে who থাকলে তা by whom দ্বারা পরিবর্তিত হয় এবং বাকি অংশ tense অনুযায়ী পরিবর্তিত হয়।
