• In spite of/ Despite / notwithstanding = সত্ত্বেও.
- Simple sentence এ in spite of/ Despite / notwithstanding থাকলে complex করতে হলে, 
- প্রথমে এদের পরিবর্তে though/ although বসে
- এর পর Subject+ Tense অনুযায়ী Verb বসে।
- পরবর্তী অংশ বসে।

• সুতরাং, নিয়মানুযায়ী, Although he is a rich man, he leads a very simple life - সঠিক বাক্য।

• And যুক্ত compound sentence কে কয়েক ভাবে simple sentence এ পরিবর্তন করা যায় -

• Compound এ and দ্বারা দুটি কাজ যুক্ত থাকলে simple এর শুরুতে প্রথম  verb টি + ing হয়।
• অথবা Because of + verb + ing হয়।
• আবার, By + verb + ing বসিয়েও simple sentence এ পরিণত করা যায়।

যেমন - 
• Compound sentence - 'He worked hard and prospered in life.
• Simple sentence: 
- Working hard, he prospered in life.
- Because of working hard, he prospered in life.
- By working hard, he prospered in life.

• কারণ +And + ফলাফল = > As/ Since/ Because+ কারণ + ফলাফল
- অর্থাৎ, and যুক্ত compound sentence এর প্রথম clause টি যদি কারণ এবং এরপরের cluse টি ফলাফল নির্দেশ করে - 
- তবে, As/ Since/ Because+ কারণ + ফলাফল এভাবে complex sentence এ পরিণত করতে হয়।
- নিয়মানুযায়ী - As Inaaya worked hard, i rewarded her - সঠিক বাক্য।

• অপশনে সঠিক উত্তর না থাকায় প্রশ্নটি বাতিল করা হয়েছে।

• Transformation এর নিয়মানুযায়ী,
- Only দিয়ে ব্যক্তিকে নির্দেশ করলে, Negative করার সময়, only এর পরিবর্তে None but বসে।
- আর Only দিয়ে বস্তু বা ধারণাকে নির্দেশ করলে, Negative করার সময় Only এর পরিবর্তে Nothing but বসে।
- আর Only দিয়ে বয়স/ সংখ্যা ইত্যাদি নির্দেশ করলে, Negative করতে হলে Only এর পরিবর্তে Not more than বসে।

• এখানে যেহেতু only দিয়ে খাবার অর্থাৎ বস্তুবাচক কিছুকে নির্দেশ করছে তাই সঠিক Negative form হবে -
- The bakery sells nothing but fresh bread in the morning.

Everybody +verb কে কয়েকভাবে Negative করা যায়:
1. There is nobody + who + negative verb
- There is nobody who likes a liar.

2.  Every এর পরিবর্তে There is no বসে + every এর পরের শব্দটি বসে + but + প্রদত্ত sentence এর বাকি অংশ।
- There is nobody but hates a liar.

3. Nobody + Opposite verb
- Nobody likes a liar.

সুতরাং, এর সঠিক উত্তর - All of these।

• Transformation এর নিয়মানুযায়ী,
- -বাক্যে None but থাকলে,
- Affirmative এ None but এর ঠিক পরের Noun টির পূর্বে only বা পরে alone বসে।

• Example:
Negative: None but the graduates were allowed to apply for the post.
Affirmative:
- Only the graduates were allowed to apply for the post.
- The graduates alone were allowed to apply for the post.

• Chip of the old block (idiom)

English Meaning: someone who resembles their parents in character or appearance.
Bangla Meaning: পিতা বা মাতার মত হওয়া / বাপকা বেটা

Ex. Sentence: He was a chip of the old block.
Bangla Meaning: সে একদম বাপের মতই হয়েছে।

• At no time
English Meaning: never / not ever.
Bangla Meaning: কখনোই না।

Ex. Sentence: I shall do it at no time.
