Meager (Adjective)
English Meaning:
1. lacking desirable qualities (such as richness or strength)
2. (of a person or animal) lean; thin.
Bangla Meaning:  কৃশ (রোগা), অপ্রচুর; অসমৃদ্ধ, দুর্বল.
Example Sentence:  
- Every morning he eats a meager breakfast of toast and coffee.
- We'll have to do the best we can with this year's meager harvest.

কোনো interrogative sentence যদি What দিয়ে শুরু হয় তাহলে passive voice- এ রুপান্তর করার structure হবে : what +   be verb + verb এর past participle +  by + sub?.

সুতরাং, এর সঠিক passive form হবে - What was wanted by you?

তবে কোনো interrogative sentence যদি Which দিয়ে শুরু হয় তাহলে passive voice- এ রুপান্তর করার structure হবে : which + subject + be verb + verb এর past participle + object + ?.

যেমনঃ
Active voice : Which book do you want?
Passive voice : Which book is wanted by you?

The meaning of 'Speed money' is bribe.
অর্থাৎ Speed money অর্থ হচ্ছে ঘুষ।

এখানে for seven days – period of time থাকার কারণে Present Perfect Continuous Tense হওয়ার কথা।
কিন্তু মূল Verb – be verb হলে Present Perfect Continuous এর পরিবর্তে Present Perfect Tense হয়।
অতএব, সঠিক বাক্য: He has been ill for seven days.

Ebullient [ইবালিআন্‌ট্‌] (adjective):
English Meaning: Excited and enthusiastic.
Bangla Meaning: উচ্ছ্বসিত।
Synonyms: Cheerful (আনন্দদায়ক বা আনন্দব্যঞ্জক), Joyful (আনন্দিত; সানন্দ), Breezy (স্ফূর্তিবাজ; প্রফুল্ল; উৎফুল্ল)
Antonyms: Depressed (বিষণ্ণ).

বাক্যটিতে দুটি object আছে। a gift (বস্তুবাচক অর্থাৎ direct object)এবং me (প্রাণীবাচক অর্থাৎ indirect object)।
এই বাক্যটিকে আমরা প্রথমে I (indirect object)-কে Subject ধরে Passive voice করতে পারি।
অর্থাৎ, Indirect object + be + Verb-এর past particple+ Direct Object+ by+ Active Voice-এর Subject-কে object-এ রূপান্তর ।
Indirect Object-কে Subject-এ রূপান্তর করাই অধিক সঙ্গত।
অতএব, প্রদত্ত বাক্যের সঠিক passive voice: I was sent a gift by my friend.

Pervasive (adjective)
English Meaning: Present or noticeable in every part of a thing or place.
Bangla Meaning: পরিব্যাপক।
Synonyms: Prevalent (সাধারণ; ব্যাপক), Endemic (কোনো দৈশিক), Extensive (বিস্তৃত; ব্যাপক; বিশাল).
Antonyms: Rare (দুর্লভ), Strange (অজানিতপূর্ব, অশ্রুতপূর্ব, অদৃষ্টপূর্ব), Unknown (অজ্ঞাত).

Past Continuous ও Past Indefinite দুটি একত্রে বসলে,
- While + Past Continuous Tense + Past Indefinite Tense.
Example: While the teacher was delivering a lecture, I entered the classroom.
- when + past indefinite + past continuous.
Example: When I saw the gardener, he was cutting down trees.

’মনে হয়, আসলে ব্যাপারটি এ রকম নয়’ এ Mood টা প্রকাশ করার জন্য Conjunction হিসেবে as if/ as though ব্যবহৃত হয়। 
as if/ as though এর Structure হচ্ছে ২টি। যথা-  
i)    Present + as if/ as though + Past Indefinite (অর্থগতভাবে বর্তমান)
ii)    Past Indefinite + as if/ as though + Past Perfect

এখানেও একই ধরনের Mood প্রকাশ পাচ্ছে। আর যেহেতু বাক্যটি Past Tense এ আছে তাই এটা ২য় Structure অনুযায়ী হবে।

অতএব, প্রদত্ত বাক্যের সঠিক ইংরেজি অনুবাদ হবে: He spoke as if he had been a landlord.

Structure: Future perfect tense + before + present indefinite tense হয়;
যদিও কাজটি ভবিষ্যতের বুঝায়, tense হবে present indefinite tense.
তাই সঠিক বাক্য - We shall have reached there before he comes.

Grant (Verb transitive)
English Meaning: agree to give or allow (something requested) to.
Bangla Meaning: 
(১) (প্রার্থিত বস্তু) প্রদান করতে সম্মত হওয়া, মঞ্জুর করা: grant a request. 
(২) (কোনো কিছু সত্য বলে) স্বীকার করা বা মেনে নেওয়া: I grant that he’s a dependable man.
Synonym: allow, accord, permit, afford, concede.
Example Sentence: they were granted a meeting.

Reporting Clause বা যে Clause দ্বারা কোনো কিছু বর্ণনা করা হয় সেটা Past Tense হলে Reported Speech বা বর্ণিত কথাটি চার প্রকারের Present এর পরিবর্তে অনুরূপ Past tense হয়ে থাকে। আর Past Indefinite এর স্থলে Past Perfect হয়। 
এ হিসেবে - আমি তাকে দেখি নি- এটাকে আমরা Present Perfect/Past Indefinite যাই বলি না কেনো এটা Past Perfect হবে।
তাই সঠিক উত্তর (গ)।

The meaning of the Idiom 'a gala day' is 'a day of festivity' অর্থাৎ উৎসবের দিন।
যেমন- The Eid day is 'a gala day' to The Muslims.

There is an error in the usage of the pronoun 'its'.
