• A participle is a verb that ends in -ing (present participle) or -ed, -d, -t, -en, -n (past participle).
- Participles may function as adjectives, describing or modifying nouns.
- Participle একই সাথে Verb ও Adjective এর কাজ করে।

• Participle মূলত: তিন প্রকার:
1. Present Participle.
- Example: Do not disturb a sleeping dog.

2. Past Participle. 
- Example: This is a book written by Charles Dickens.

3. Perfect Participle.
- Example: Having eaten rice, he went to bed.

• শূন্যস্থানে সঠিক উত্তর হবে - attending.

• Adverb of manner:
- যে adverb কোনোকিছু কিভাবে হয়/হচ্ছে/হবে তা ব্যাখ্যা করে তাকে Adverb of manner বলে ।
- অর্থাৎ, Verb 'কেমনভাবে' বা, 'কীভাবে' সংঘটিত হল তা যে word থেকে জানা যায়, তাকে বলা হয় Adverb of Manner. 
- Manner মানেই হল কায়দা অথবা, ধরন। 
- Most of these adverbs have “ly” at its end such as, clearly, quickly, slowly, happily, badly, etc.
- Fast, hard, well, etc. are also adverbs of manner.

• Adverb of time:
- যে adverb কোনকিছু কখন/কোন সময়ে ঘটেছে তা বর্ণনা/উল্লেখ করে তাকে Adverb of time বলে।
- এটা sentence এর শুরুতে অথবা শেষে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- Example: now, then, always.

• Adverb of frequency:
- যে adverb কোনকিছু কতবার বা কত সময় পরপর হয় তা বোঝায় তাকে Adverb of frequency বলে।
- Example: often, frequently.

• কিন্তু uncountable ও abstract noun এর আগে article ব্যবহার হয় না।
- Abstract noun এর পূর্বে Article বসালে সেটি Common noun এ পরিণত হয়।

• Gerund: 
- Verb এর সাথে ing যোগ হয়ে যদি noun এর কাজ করে অর্থাৎ, verb ও noun এর কাজ করে, তাহলে তাকে Gerund বলে।
- সংক্ষেপে: Gerund = Verb+ing = noun = Verb+noun.

• Gerund মূলত noun এবং বাক্যে একটি সাধারণ noun এর মত ব্যবহৃত হয়। কারণ, Gerund সর্বদাই noun এর স্থানে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- আবার transitive verb এর object হিসেবে verb + ing বসলে তা Gerund হয়।
