Abstract nouns are defined as a type of noun that you can’t see, touch or otherwise directly experience by any of the human senses. These nouns represent an aspect, concept, idea, experience, state of being, trait, quality, feeling, or other entity that can’t be experienced with the five senses.

Grammar, Music, Chemistry, Physics, Economics ইত্যাদিকে Abstract noun হিসেবে গণ্য করা হয়।

Proper Noun যদি নির্দিষ্ট ব্যক্তি/বস্তু/স্থানকে না বুঝিয়ে, তার গুণসম্পন্ন যে কোনো ব্যক্তি/বস্তু/স্থানকে বুঝায়, তাহলে সেটা Common Noun হয়ে যায়।
বাক্যে Dundee এভাবেই ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।
তাই এটি এখানে Common Noun.
Proper Noun যখন Common Noun এ পরিণত হয়, তখন এর পূর্বে a/an/the বসে। 

• Collective Noun এর ক্ষেত্রে সাধারণত verb singular হয় এবং possessive হিসেবে Its ব্যবহৃত হয়।
যেমন - The jury is unanimous in its opinion.

• তবে Collective Noun যদি বিভাজিত হয়, তাহলে verb plural হয় এবং Plural হিসেবে possessive - their বসে।
যেমন - The jury were divided in their opinions.

Personal pronouns:
A personal pronoun is a short word we use as a simple substitute for the proper name of a person.
Each of the English personal pronouns shows us the grammatical person, gender, number, and case of the noun it replaces.

Subject Pronoun: I, you, we, he, she, it, they. you.
Object Pronoun: Me, us, him, her, it, them, you.

Reflexive pronoun:
Myself, himself, herself, themselves ইত্যাদি থাকলে যদি Subject ও Object একই ব্যক্তি/ বস্তু হয়, তাহলে সেটি Reflexive pronoun.
যেমন - He killed himself.

Emphatic pronoun:
এ pronoun গুলো Reflexive pronoun এর অনুরূপ। কিন্তু Emphatic Pronoun অন্য Noun/Pronoun এর ঠিক পরে বসে ঐ Noun/Pronoun এর উপর জোড় প্রদান করে।
যেমন - She herself killed her parents.

এখানে one শব্দটি হচ্ছে Pronoun.
এর possessive form হচ্ছে one's.
তাই এখানে one's ই ব্যবহার করতে হবে।

Relative pronouns introduce relative clauses. The most common relative pronouns are who, whom, whose, which, that.
The relative pronoun we use depends on what we are referring to and the type of relative clause.
- We don’t know the person who donated this money.
- We drove past my old school, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
- He went to the school (that) my father went to.

যে pronoun পূর্বে উল্লেখিত কোন Noun বা Pronoun কে নির্দেশ পূর্বক দুটি বাক্যকে যুক্ত করে তাকে relative Pronoun বলে। 
 - Who, which, that, what, but, as - এগুলো relative Pronoun রূপে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Bravery (সংক্ষিপ্ততা) শব্দটি একটি বৈশিষ্ট্যের নাম, যা দেখা যায় না, গণনা করা যায় না, শুধু উপলব্ধি করা যায়, তাই এটি Abstract noun.

Brevity is the soul of wit - মানিকের খানিক ভালো ।
অর্থাৎ, সংক্ষিপ্ততা হচ্ছে বুদ্ধিমত্তার আত্মা।
এর দ্বারা বুঝায়, বুদ্ধিমান লোকজন খুব অল্প কথায় অনেক বুদ্ধিদীপ্ত কথা প্রকাশ করতে পারে।

অনির্দিষ্ট ব্যক্তি বা বস্তু কে বোঝাতে যে Pronoun ব্যবহৃত হয় সে pronounce কে বলে indefinite pronoun.
Indefinite pronoun এর কয়েকটি উদাহরণ হল:
- all, one, none, any, anybody, anyone, some, someone, everyone, nobody. ইত্যাদি।
Ex: Anybody can apply for this post.

শূণ্যস্থানে একটা relative pronoun লাগবে।
কিন্তু অপশন ''ক'' এবং ''ঘ'' তে কোন relative pronoun নেই।
আর ''who all'' ব্যাকরণের নিয়ম অনু্যায়ী সঠিক নয়।
সকল নিয়ম মেনে ''all of whom'' relative pronoun হিসেবে শূণ্যস্থানে বসবে।
কিন্তু My brother has three sons - এটার পরে ফুল স্টপ থাকলে তখন all of them ব্যবহার করা যেতো।

Reciprocal pronoun তখনই ব্যবহার করা যায় যখন দুই বা ততোধিক ব্যক্তির প্রত্যেকে একই কাজ পরস্পরের প্রতি করে।
যেমন - 
- John and Mary love each other.
- The ten prisoners were all blaming one another.
- Why don't you believe each other?
- The gangsters were fighting one another.

দুইজনের মধ্যে পরস্পর ক্রিয়াশীল কাজ বুঝাতে each other এবং দুইয়ের অধিকজনের মধ্যে হলে one another ব্যবহৃত হয়।

যে Noun দ্বারা কোন বস্তু বা পদার্থকে নির্দেশ করে তাকে Materiall noun বলে। Material noun সাধারণত uncountable noun হয়। একে গণনা করা যায় না কিন্তু পরিমাপ বা ওজন করা যায়।
Silver, Iron, Cotton, Diamond, Milk, Paint, Rubber, Paper, Steel, Sand, Wood, Mutton, Sugar, Oil etc. are material noun.

Compound Nouns:
A compound noun is a noun that is made with two or more words. A compound noun is usually [noun + noun] or [adjective + noun], but there are other combinations. Each compound noun acts as a single unit and can be modified by adjectives and other nouns.

There are three forms for compound nouns:
1. open or spaced - space between words (tennis shoe)
2. hyphenated - hyphen between words (six-pack)
3. closed or solid - no space or hyphen between words (bedroom)
