• Simple sentence- এ যদি at the time of থাকে তাহলে simple sentence কে complex করার নিয়ম:
- প্রথম clause টি অপরিবর্তিত থাকবে।
- at the time of এর পরিবর্তে when বসে।
- প্রথম clause টির tense এর form অনুযায়ী পরবর্তী clause টি I was swimming হয়েছে। 

Simple Sentence: Rafique called me at the time of swimming.
Complex Sentence: Rafique called me when I was swimming.

• After বা before যুক্ত Complex Sentence কে Compound Sentence- এ রূপান্তরের নিয়ম:
- Complex sentence- এ past perfect tense যুক্ত clause টি Compound sentence- এ প্রথমে বসে এবং উক্ত clause টিকে past indefinite form- এ বসাতে হবে। 
- after বা before এর পরিবর্তে and then বসে। 
- Complex Sentence- এর past indefinite tense টির অংশটি বসবে।

• After:
Complex Sentence: We went to the dining room after the work had been completed.
Compound Sentence: The work was completed and then we went to the dining room.

• Before: 
Complex Sentence: The train had started before we reached home.
Compound Sentence: The train started and then we reached home.

• দুটি clause এর subject ভিন্ন হলে এবং প্রথম clause টিতে am/ is/ are/ was/ were/ has/ have/ had থাকলে নিয়মটি হলো:
- Since/ as/ when সর্বদা উঠে যায়।
- প্রথম Clause-এ am/ is/ was/ were/ এর পরিবর্তে being বসে বা has/ have/ had এর পরিবর্তে having বসে। তাছাড়া প্রথম clause-টির আর পরিবর্তন হয় না।
- ২য় clause টি বসে।

Complex Sentence: Since the weather was very cold, there were no birds or animals in the snow-covered country.
Simple sentence: The weather being very cold, there were no birds or animals in the snow-covered country.

• Statement টি affirmative হলে, এবং তার subject হিসেবে everyone, everybody, somebody (কেউ, কোন একজন), someone- এদের যে কোন একটি ব্যবহার করা হলে tag- এ not ব্যবহার হবে।
- Statement positive হলে tag question টি negative হবে।

• Let যুক্ত imperative sentence এর tag question করার নিয়ম:
- Let এরপর 's থাকেলে বুঝতে হবে যে 's দ্বারা us কে বুঝানো হয়েছে।
- tag question এর নিয়ম অনুসারে Sentence টি positive হলে tag question negative হবে।
- Us এর পরিবর্তে We ব্যবহার করা হয়।

• No one, Nobody, Nothing, Scarcely, Barely, Hardly, Seldom ইত্যাদি যুক্ত sentence এর Tag question করার নিয়ম:
- Statement- এ যদি neither, no (adjective হিসেবে), none, no one, nobody, nothing, scarcely, barely, hardly, hardly ever, seldom- এদের যে কোন একটি word থাকে তাহলে এটি negative statement হিসেবে ধরা হয়।
- এরা negative অর্থ প্রকাশ করে।
- এদের পরবর্তী Tag- এ এজন্য not বসে না।
- সরাসরি interrogative tag বসে।

• Noun যদি subject হিসেবে ব্যবহার করা হয় tag question করার নিয়ম:
- কখনো কখনো common noun ব্যবহার করে abstract noun বুঝানো হয়।
- The morning এখানে abstarct noun হিসেবে ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে।
- তাই The Morning এর অর্থ ধরে এর পরিবর্তে it - pronoun বসাতে হবে।
- Statement টি positive হলে tag question টি negative হবে।

• Negative Sentence এর Tag question করার নিয়ম:
- Tag question ব্যবহার করা হয় উক্তিটি সত্য না মিথ্যা তা নিশ্চিত করার জন্য।
- Statement negative হলে tag question টি positive হবে।
- Subject ও tense অনুসারে auxiliary verb দ্বারা tag question হয়।

Complete Sentence: We didn't play very well today, did we?

• And যুক্ত Compound sentence এর উভয় অংশের subject যদি একই হয় এবং উভয় অংশে মূল verb থাকে তাহলে তা Simple sentence করার নিয়ম:
- প্রথম অংশের মূল verb এর সাথে ing যোগ করতে হবে।
-  মূল verb এর পরের অংশ বসে। 
- and এর পরিবর্তে কমা (,) বসে।
- প্রথম অংশের কর্তা বসে এবং ২য় অংশের কর্তা থাকলে তা উঠে যাবে।
- ২য় অংশের বাকী অংশ বসে।

Compound: He drew a package from his overcoat and threw it upon the table.
Simple: Drawing a package from his overcoat, he threw it upon the table.

অন্য অপশন গুলোতে,
ক) এই sentence টিতে Threwing এর জায়গায় Threw হবে। 
খ) Having বাদ  যাবে।
ঘ) Because of his বাদ যাবে।
