• Direct speech থেকে Indirect speech এ রূপান্তরের বেলায়:
- Reporting verb এর subject বসে।
- Reporting verb say/said, tell/told (যদি থাকে) বসে।
- Inverted comma উঠে that বসে।
- Direct speech এ must থাকলে Indirect speech এ had to হয়।
- to এর পর verb এর base form বসবে।
- বাকি অংশ বসবে।

Direct: Romana said, "I must go there."
Indirect: Romana said that she had to go there.

• প্রদত্ত প্রশ্নের অপশনগুলোর মধ্যে Gymnastics হচ্ছে singular number.

• কতগুলো Noun দেখতে plural মনে হলেও ব্যবহারে singlular.
Examples: News, Physics, Ethics, Politics, Statistics, Economics, Athletics etc.

Others Option:
- Cuckoos is the plural of 'Cuckoo'.
- Folios is the plural of 'Folio'.
- Radios is the plural of 'Radio'.

• Superlative Degree থেকে Comparative Degree তে রূপান্তর করার নিয়ম:
(i) Superlative Subject + Verb
(ii) The উঠে যাবে
(iii) Superlative এর Comparative form + than any other
(iv) বাকি অংশ

Example: 
Superlative: Ruma is the prettiest girl in the village. 
Comparative: Ruma is prettier than any other girl in the village.

আবার,
Superlative -> Comparative
1. of all -> than all other
2. One of the -> than most other.

• We live in deeds, not in years.
Meaning: বয়সে নয়, আমরা কাজেই বাঁচি।

• It came in a little box. Here ‘little’ is a/an – Adjective.

• Adjective: যে সকল শব্দ দ্বারা কোন Noun বা Pronoun এর দোষ, গুণ, সংখ্যা, পরিমাণ, অবস্থা ইত্যাদি প্রকাশ করা হয় তাকে Adjective বলে।
- এখানে বাক্যটিতে little শব্দটি Adjective এর কাজ করছে।
- এখানে 'little' শব্দটি 'box' noun কে মডিফাই করছে, তাই এটি Adjective এর কাজ করছে।

• Diffidence (noun)
English Meaning: The quality of being shy and not confident of your abilities.
Bangla Meaning: আত্মপ্রত্যয়হীনতা; অবিশ্বাস।

Synonyms: Timidity (ভীরুতা; লজ্জা), Self-doubt (স্ব-সন্দেহ), Insecurity (নিরাপত্তাহীনতা; সংশয়পন্ন), Self-distrust (আত্মবিশ্বাসের অভাব)। 
Antonyms: Confidence (আত্মবিশ্বাস; দৃঢ়তা; সাহস; আস্থা), Sureness (নৈশ্চিত্য), Assurance (আত্মপ্রত্যয়), Authority (কর্তৃত্ব), Trust (আস্থা)। 

Other Forms: 
- Diffident [ডিফিডান্‌ট্] (adjective) আত্মপ্রত্যয়হীন; নিজের শক্তিতে আস্থাহীন; সংশয়ী।
- Diffidently (adverb)

Example Sentence: 
1. There was a diffidence in his soft voice.
2. In his whole speech, diffidence was present.

• Preposition:
- Preposition হলো এমন শব্দ যা কোন noun, pronoun বা noun phrase- এর আগে বসে তার সাথে বাক্যস্থিত অন্য কোন শব্দের সম্পর্ক প্রকাশ করে।
- যেমন: At, by, with, of, from, after etc.

• কোন শব্দ Preposition হওয়ার দুটি শর্ত রয়েছে।
- যেমন:
1. Noun বা Pronoun এর পূর্বে অবস্থান করবে।
2. এটি বাক্যের অন্যান্য শব্দের সাথে সম্পর্ক স্থাপন করবে, সংযোগ নয়। 

• He hasn't won a game since last year.
- এই বাক্যে Since, noun phrase 'last year' এর আগে বসেছে।
- অতএব এখানে Since শব্দটি preposition হিসেবে বসেছে।

• Assertive sentence টি হ্যাঁ-বোধক হলে Interrogative sentence টিকে negative করতে হবে।
- যদি Assertive Sentence এ none/ nobody/ no one থাকে, এমন ধরণের বাক্যকে interrogative করবার সময় none/ nobody/ no one এর পরিবর্তে who বসবে - - এরপর বাক্যের বাকি অংশ 
-  প্রশ্নবোধক চিহ্ন। 

- সুতরাং নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর - Who wishes to be poor?

• উল্লিখিত বাক্যটি 2nd conditional sentence এর উদাহরণ।

• Second Conditional এর নিয়মানুযায়ী - 
- If + past indefinite + subject + would/could/might + verb এর base form + ext.
- অর্থাৎ, If + past indefinite যুক্ত clause এর পরবর্তী clause টিতে subject এর পর would/could/might এর সাথে verb এর base form বসে।

Complete sentence: If I had more free time, I would learn to play the guitar.

• এখানে had, main verb হিসেবে বসেছে।

• Inundate
 English Meaning: To bring to a place or person too much of something, so that it cannot be dealt with.
Bangla Meaning: (with) প্লাবিত/পরিপ্লাবিত/পরিপ্লুত করা; (আলংকারিক অর্থ বিশেষত passive) অভিভূত/পরিপ্লাবিত করা: be inundated with congratulations.
