- It is an unfinished Gothic ballad by Samuel Taylor Coleridge.

- Christabel নামের এক তরুণী এক রাতে বনে গিয়ে Geraldine নামের এক রহস্যময় মহিলাকে দেখতে পায়, যে বলে সে বিপদে পড়েছে।
- Christabel তাকে নিজের প্রাসাদে নিয়ে আসে, কিন্তু ধীরে ধীরে Geraldine -এর অদ্ভুত আচরণ প্রকাশ পায়।
