- গ্রীক মিথ অনুযায়ী Endymion একজন অনিন্দ্য সুন্দর যুবকের নাম।
- কবিতায় দেখানো হয়েছে Endymion একজন রাখাল যে তার প্রেমিকার সন্ধান করে, যার নাম Cynthia.

- ১৮০২ সালে প্রকাশিত এই কবিতাটি একটি short lyric poem.
- Like many of his poems from this period, "My Heart Leaps Up" was inspired by nature, as the speaker describes the feeling of joy upon seeing a simple rainbow.

• William Wordsworth (1770–1850):
- তিনি Romantic Period -এর একজন English poet ছিলেন।
- তিনি ১৮৪৩ সালে ইংল্যান্ডের Poet Laureate হন এবং তার মৃত্যুর আগ পর্যন্ত তিনি এই ভূমিকা পালন করেন।

- William Wordsworth and S. T Coleridge jointly contributed to the publication of 'Lyrical Ballads'.
- 1798 সালে William Wordsworth এবং Samuel Taylor Coleridge এর Lyrical ballads রচনার মধ্য দিয়ে যাত্রা শুরু হয় রোমান্টিক যুগ এবং এই যুগের সাহিত্যকর্মের।
-  Lyrical Ballads is a collection of Romantic poems.
- এতে মোট 23 টি কবিতা রয়েছে, তার মধ্যে ১৯ টি William Wordsworth ও ৪ টি S.T. Coleridge এর।
- Lyrical Ballads এর প্রকাশনা English Literature এর উল্লেখযোগ্য পরিবর্তন এনেছিল, বিশেষত Subject and Style এর ক্ষেত্রে। 
- এই কাব্যগ্রন্থটিতে প্রকাশিত কবিতাগুলো বিষয়বস্তুর দিকে যেমন সরল তেমনি শব্দের ব্যবহারের দিক দিয়েও উচ্চাঙ্গের কিছু না।
- অন্যভাবে বললে, এই কবিতাগুলো অলংকার বিবর্জিত এবং কৃত্রিমতা বিহীন।
- সাধারণ মানুষের মুখে যে ভাষা প্রচলিত ছিল সেসব শব্দই তিনি এই কবিতাতে ব্যবহার করেন।
