গ) Participle
- A participle is a verb that ends in -ing (present participle) or -ed, -d, -t, -en, -n (past participle). Participles may function as adjectives, describing or modifying nouns.
- Participle একই সাথে Verb ও Adjective এর কাজ করে।

• Participle মূলত: তিন প্রকার:
1. Present Participle. Ex: Do not disturb a sleeping dog.
2. Past Participle. Ex: This is a book written by Charles Dickens.
3. Perfect Participle. Ex: Having eaten rice, he went to bed.

ঘ) Modal auxiliary verb:
- এটি বিভিন্ন অর্থ দেয়।
- সাধারণত potential ও uncertain কোনো কিছু নির্দেশ করতে ব্যবহার করা হয়।
- modal 'Auxiliary verb' হলেও do, does কিংবা did কখনো modal verb হিসেবে ব্যবহার করা হয় না।
- Modal verb এরপর সাধারণত verb এর Present form ব্যবহার করা হয়ে থাকে।
- Modal verb এরপর to ব্যবহার হয় না।

- 'Otherwise' শব্দটির অর্থ হলো "if not" বা "or else", যার বাংলা প্রতিশব্দ হলো "না হলে", "অন্যথায়", "তা না হলে"।

Raise (verb): 
English Meaning - i) To lift something to a higher position. 
ii) To cause something to increase or become bigger, better, higher, etc. 

Bangla Meaning - উঠানো, উত্তোলন করা, বাড়িয়ে দেওয়া।

Simple Sentence এ Present Tense এ too … to থাকলে, Complex Sentence এ so …. that + sub + can + not + verb-এর base form বসে।
অর্থাৎ, সঠিক বক্যটি হবে - The mangoes are so cheap that they cannot be good.

যেখানে কোন Subject নেই সেখানে Subject হিসেবে It এবং যেখানে কোন verb নেই সেখানে verb হিসেবে be verb (am, is, are, was, were) বসে।
What এর পরিবর্তে noun এর পূর্বে great এবং Adjective এর পূর্বে very বসে। এখানে pity – noun হওয়ায় great বসবে।

‘for/since’ এর পরে যখন point of time/period of time (for two hours, since morning etc.) উল্লেখ থাকে,তখন Present Perfect Continuous tense হয়।

এখানে Concerning,  regarding,  Respecting ইত্যাদি  participle গুলো About, as to,  with respect to দিয়ে replace করা যায়|
- তাই  এগুলো noun phrase  এর পূর্বে বসে preposition হিসেবে কাজ করে।

• But যুক্ত Compound sentence কে Simple Sentence এ পরিণত করার নিয়ম- 

- প্রথমে Inspite of বসে + প্রথম Sentence এর Subject এর Posssesive form বসেছে + প্রথম Sentence এর am/is/are/was/were এর পরিবর্তে being বসে বা has, have, had, এর পরিবর্তে having বসে বা প্রথম বাক্যের মূল verb এর সাথে ing যোগ করতে হয়+ but এর পরিবর্তে comma (,) বসে+ দ্বিতীয় Sentence টি বসে।

• Compound: He is ill but he can run fast.
- Simple: In spite of his being ill, he can run fast.

Compound: He has no money but he helps others.
Simple: In spite of his having no money, he helps others.

অন্য অপশনগুলো ভুল:

ক) In spite his having no money, he helps others. → "In spite" এর পরে "of" বাধ্যতামূলক; "in spite" একা ব্যবহার হয় না।

• Prepositional Phrase:
- A prepositional phrase is a group of words that begins with a preposition and ends with a noun, pronoun, or noun phrase (this noun, pronoun, or noun phrase is the object of the preposition).
- Prepositional phrases modify or describe nouns, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, and verbs.
- They say something about the relationship between their object and the word they describe/ modify.
- অর্থাৎ, যে Phrase Preposition দিয়ে শুরু হয়, কিন্তু Adjective বা Adverb এর কাজ করে কিংবা noun/pronoun কে বর্ণনা করে, তাকে Prepositional Phrase বলে।
