- প্রদত্ত বাক্যে, teaching (verb+ing)- transitive verb 'started' -এর object হিসেবে বসে noun -এর কাজ করেছে তাই এটি gerund.

অন্যদিকে,
• Present participle:
- Verb -এর সাথে ing যোগ হয়ে যদি adjective -এর কাজ করে অর্থাৎ, একই সাথে Verb ও adjective -এর কাজ করে, তাহলে তাকে present participle বলে।
- সহজ ভাষায় → present participle হলো Verb + ing = adjective = Verb + adjective কাজ করে।
- Present participle দ্বারা চলমান sense বোঝায়।
- যেমন: A rolling Stone gathers no moss.

- Infinitive হচ্ছে verb এর base form অথবা to + base form.

Relative Pronoun (who) এর যেহেতু singular ও plural form একই, তাই relative pronoun- subject হলে Relative pronoun এর Antecedent (যার প‌রিব‌র্তে Relative Pronoun ব‌সে) এর number person অনুযায়ী Verb বসাতে হয়।
সমস্যা হচ্ছে এখানে অর্থ অনুযায়ী Antecedent – one এবং boys দুটিই হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা রাখে।
যখন এ রকম সমস্যা থাকবে, তখন Relative pronoun এর ঠিক আগের শব্দকে antecedent ধরতে হবে। সেটি singular হলে singular verb এবং সেটি plural হলে verb plural হবে। এ হি‌সে‌বে এখা‌নে antecedent হ‌বে boys. আর এটা Plural হওয়ায় verb ও plural - have হ‌বে।

• Whom যুক্ত Interrogative sentence এর active voice কে passive voice- এ রূপান্তরের নিয়ম:
- Active voice এর Whom এর পরিবর্তে Passive voice টিতে Who বসে,
- Tense অনুযায়ী Auxiliary verb বসে,
- Active Voice এ মূল verb এর সাথে "ing" থাকলে Passive Voice এ Being হবে,
- মূল verb এর Past Participle Form + বাকি অংশ বসে।
- by বসে।
- Subject এর Object form বসে।
- প্রশ্নবোধক (?) চিহ্ন বসে।
