Hopefully (adverb):
Meaning - (১) আশাপ্রদরূপে।
(২) আমি আশা করছি; আশা করা যায়।

Adverb: 
- যেসব word noun বা pronoun ব্যতীত অন্য যেকোনো parts of speech, বিশেষ করে verb কে modify করে সেগুলোকে Adverb বলে।
- Adverb অন্য কোনো verb, adjective, adverb, preposition অথবা পুরো sentence টিকেই modify করতে পারে। 

• Hopefully, the weather will be good soon.
- এই বাক্যটিতে 'Hopefully' শব্দটি পুরো sentence কে modify করছে। 
- তাই, এখানে 'Hopefully' হচ্ছে Adverb.

• Prior to something:
- English meaning: Before a particular time or event.
- Bangla meaning: একটি নির্দিষ্ট সময় বা ঘটনার আগে।

• "Prior to" এর পরে সাধারণত verb এর gerund (-ing form) আসে।

• Correct answer: Prior to visiting Paris. I visited London.

Complete sentence: The judge recommended that the suspect remain in custody.
- প্রদত্ত বাক্যে Principal clause-এ Present Subjunctive হিসেবে 'recommended' থাকায় sub-ordinate clause-এ verb-এর base form 'remain' হবে।

• সাধারণত recommend এর পরে object (someone) থাকলে এর পরে to-infinitive ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- তবে Principal clause-এ Subjunctive হিসেবে 'recommended' থাকায় sub-ordinate clause-এ verb-এর base form 'remain' হবে।
- চাওয়া বা ইচ্ছা প্রকাশ করতে sub-ordinate clause-এ verb-এর base form ব্যবহারের রীতিই হলো- Present Subjunctive.
- এক্ষেত্রে structure হলো: Subject + verb (any tense)/Adjective + that + subject + verb-এর base form + ext. হয়।
- এক্ষেত্রে that যুক্ত sub-ordinate clause-এ সর্বদাই verb-এর base form হবে।
- 'be verb' এর ক্ষেত্রে শুধু 'be' বসে।
-  যেসব verb Present Subjunctive হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়: Command, ask, advise, demand, decree, insist, move, prefer, propose, request, require, suggest, stipulate, urge, etc.

- যে Adjective কোন noun-এর নির্দিষ্ট সংখ্যা, ক্রম, পর্যায় বা গুণিতক ইত্যাদি বোঝায় তাকে Numeral Adjective বলে।
- যেমন: some, several, few, many, no, one, two, three, etc.
- Numeral Adjective দুই প্রকার। যথা:
- 1. Definite Numeral Adjective.
- 2. Indefinite Numeral Adjective.

• Definite Numeral Adjective তিন প্রকার। যথা:
- 1. Cardinal Numeral Adjective - one, two, three, four, five ইত্যাদি সংখ্যা হলো Cardinal সংখ্যা। 
- 2. Ordinal Numeral Adjective - first, second, third, fourth, fifth ইত্যাদি সংখ্যা হলো Ordinal সংখ্যা। 
- 3. Multiplicative Numeral Adjective- single, double, triple, quadruple, fivefold etc. 

• Indefinite Numeral Adjective
- Noun -এর অনির্দিষ্ট সংখ্যা বোঝায়।
- যেমন: some, several, few, many, no ইত্যাদি।
- সুতরাং, আরও নির্দিষ্ট করে বললে এখানে several হচ্ছে Indefinite Numeral Adjective.

যেসব word verb, adjective বা কোন sentence কে modify করে তা Adverb.
কিছু কিছু ly বিহীন শব্দ আছে যেগুলো noun কে modify করলে adjective আর verb কে modify করলে adverb.
এখানে well শব্দটি verb written কে modify করেছে তাই এটি Adverb.

যে শব্দগুলো দ্বারা কোন physical object-কে না বুঝিয়ে কোন ধারণা বা সাধারণ গুণ বা বৈশিষ্ট্যকে বুঝায় তাহলে সেটি abstract noun।
যেমন: beauty, freedom, knowledge, honesty

- Correct sentence: He gave much information during the meeting.

• এই বাক্যটিতে determiner এর misuse করা হয়েছে, কারণ many informations না হয়ে much information হলে সঠিক হতো।
- information একটি uncountable noun, তাই এর plural হয় না।
- এটিকে plural করতে হলে সঠিক determiner বসিয়ে plural করতে হয়।
- যেমন: two pieces of information, a lot of information, some information, etc.

- আর, uncountable noun এর সাথে much হবে।

- Make, have, get প্রভৃতি যোগে অনেক verb- কে causative verb এ পরিণত করা যায়।

• Causative verb হিসাবে help এর structure:
- Subject + help (any tense) + action doer + base form/ infinitive (to+base form) + ext.

- সাধারণত খাবারের নাম (meals) breakfast, lunch, dinner, ইত্যাদির পূর্বে article (a/an) বসে না।
- যেমন: I've just had lunch with my friend Ileana.

- তবে খাবারের (meals) পূর্বে Adjective থাকলে অথবা বিশেষার্থে এদের পূর্বে article (a/an) বসে।

• Grumble (verb)
English Meaning: to mutter in discontent.
Bangla Meaning: বিড়বিড়িয়ে ক্ষোভ বা অসন্তোষ প্রকাশ করা।

- "অসন্তোষ প্রকাশ" বোঝাতে grumble এরপর 'at' বসে।

অনুবাদ: তুমি যা করেছ আমি কি তা জানি?
What you did এখানে প্রশ্ন করার জন্য আসে নি। বরং এটা এখানে Know এর Object হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।
Relative Pronoun এর পূর্বে সাধারণত Antecedent (Pronoun টি যাকে বুঝাচ্ছে) থাকে। কিন্তু What এ ক্ষেত্রে ব্যতিক্রম। What এর পূর্বে একটা that উহ্যভাবে থাকে।

- Bangla meaning: শুধু; কেবল; মাত্র (এখন এই অর্থে সচরাচর only ব্যবহৃত হয়)।

- অর্থাৎ, শুধু; কেবল; মাত্র অর্থে But - adverb হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

কোন কাজ আগে থেকে আরাম্ভ হয়ে বর্তমানকালে ও চলছে বুঝালে verb টির present perfect continuous tense হয়।
এক্ষেত্রে বাক্যে since, for, How long ইত্যাদি উল্লেখ থাকে।

Here, send is a transitive verb. 

Transitive verbs এর সাধারণ Structure  হচ্ছে : subject + verb + object

- Transitive verbs involve not only the subject, but also someone or something else, the object. অর্থাৎ Transitive verb এর কেবল subject নয় বরং এক বা একাধিক Object ‍ও থাকবে। 

যেমন: She has many friends, but (she) admires Victoria most.

 নিচের transitive verb গুলোর দুটো Object আছে। একটি প্রত্যক্ষ অপরটি পরোক্ষ: 
- She brought me my breakfast in bed on a silver tray.

অপরদিকে, 

Intransitive verb এর সাধারণ Structure  হচ্ছে: subject + verb
- If an action concerns only one person or thing, you mention only the person or thing that carries out the action (the subject) and the action itself (the verb).
- Verbs which describe such actions are called intransitive verbs, e.g. I waited and waited, but nobody came.

- The running water cooled the room.
• প্রদত্ত বাক্যে ‘running’ শব্দটি noun ‘water’ কে modify করছে।
- অর্থাৎ adjective এর কাজ করছে।
- Verb + ing যখন adjective এর কাজ করে তখন তাকে participle বলে।

• A participle is a verb that ends in -ing (present participle) or -ed, -d, -t, -en, -n (past participle). Participles may function as adjectives, describing or modifying nouns.
- Participle একই সাথে Verb ও Adjective এর কাজ করে।

• Participle মূলত: তিন প্রকার:
1. Present Participle. Ex: Do not disturb a sleeping dog.
2. Past Participle. Ex: This is a book written by Charles Dickens.
3. Perfect Participle. Ex: Having eaten rice, he went to bed.

Options:
ক) Gerund:
- Verb -এর সাথে ing যোগ হয়ে যদি noun -এর কাজ করে অর্থাৎ, একই সাথে Verb ও noun -এর কাজ করে, তখন তাকে Gerund বলে।
- অর্থাৎ, Gerund হলো verb-এর -ing ফর্ম, যা বাক্যে noun হিসেবে কাজ করে।
- সহজে → Gerund = Verb + ing = noun = Verb + noun -এর কাজ করে।
- Gerunds don’t describe action—they act as nouns.

ঘ) Infinitive:
- Verb এর present form এর আগে to বসিয়ে Infinitive গঠন করা হয়।
- অর্থাৎ, Infinitive = to + verb.
- Infinitive দুই রকম হতে পারে,
1. To-যুক্ত infinitive এবং,
2. To-বিহীন infinitive বা Bare Infinitive.
- Infinitive form বিভিন্ন ভাবে ব্যবহৃত হতে পারে।যেমন: Subject of verb, Object of verb, Complement of verb, object of preposition, etc.

- English Meaning: on condition that: with the understanding: if.
- Bangla Meaning: Provided (that) এই শর্তে (যে)।

- দুইটি clause কে সংযুক্ত করতে 'Provided' conjunction হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
