Verb এর সাথে ing যোগ হয়ে যদি noun এর কাজ করে, তাহলে তাকে Gerund বলে।

Gerund মূলত বাক্যে একটি সাধারণ noun এর মত Subject বা Object হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• Gerund:
- Verb -এর সাথে ing যোগ হয়ে যদি noun -এর কাজ করে অর্থাৎ, একই সাথে Verb ও noun -এর কাজ করে, তখন তাকে Gerund বলে।
- সহজে → Gerund = Verb + ing = noun = Verb + noun -এর কাজ করে।

Having + Verb এর Past Participle এ গঠনটি যদি একই সাথে Verb এবং adjective/adverb এর কাজ করে, তখন তাকে Perfect Participle বলে।
