Linking verbs are verbs that serve as a connection between a subject and further information about that subject.
They do not show any action; rather, they “link” the subject with the rest of the sentence.
The verb ‘to be’ is the most common linking verb but there are many others like become, seem, appear etc.
In the given sentence, ‘smell’ serves as a link between the subject “The eggs” and further information about that subject “rotten.”

• The children laughed loudly in the park. Here, the verb "laughed" is - Intransitive verb.

- "laughed" শব্দটি এখানে Intransitive verb কারণ এটি কোন Direct object গ্রহণ করেনি।
- Intransitive verb হলো এমন Verb যা কোন Direct object ছাড়াই সম্পূর্ণ অর্থ প্রকাশ করে।
- প্রদত্ত বাক্য laughed এরপর adverb (loudly) আছে এবং এর কোনো object নেই। তাই এটি Intransitive sentence.

• Intransitive verb:
- যে verb এর কর্ম নেই তাকে বলে Intransitive verb.
- Intransitive verbs cannot have a direct object after them.
- এই verb কে 'কি' বা 'কাকে' দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করলে উত্তর পাওয়া যায় না।
- Direct object থাকে না বলে প্রশ্ন করলে উত্তর পাওয়া যায় না।
- সাধারণত verb এর পরে কোনো word না থাকলে অথবা verb-এর পরে adverb/ preposition থাকলে সেটি Intransitive verb হবে।

• A participle is a verb that ends in -ing (present participle) or -ed, -d, -t, -en, -n (past participle). Participles may function as adjectives, describing or modifying nouns.
অর্থাৎ, যে সকল শব্দ একই সাথে verb & adjective এর কাজ করে সেই সকল শব্দকে participle বলে।
- Participle একই সাথে Verb ও Adjective এর কাজ করে।

• Participle মূলত: তিন প্রকার: 
1. Present Participle. Ex: Do not disturb a sleeping dog. 
2. Past Participle. Ex: This is a book written by Charles Dickens. 
3. Perfect Participle. Ex: Having eaten rice, he went to bed. 

- এখানে sinned দ্বারা মূলত I - pronoun কে modify করা হয়েছে, বিধায় এটি adjective এর কাজ করছে। সুতরাং, এটি participle.

আবার,
• Verb এর সাথে ing যোগ হয়ে যদি noun এর কাজ করে তাহলে তাকে Gerund বলে।

- Period of time এর পূর্বে for বসে।

- এখানে 'Should' প্রধান ক্রিয়ার 'respect' এর আগে বসে বাক্যের অর্থকে প্রভাবিত করেছে তাই এটি Modal auxiliary verb.
- অন্যান্য অপশনগুলিতে work, wishes, enjoy Principal verb হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।

Modal auxiliary verb:
- এটি হলো এমন কিছু বিশেষ ক্রিয়া যা প্রধান ক্রিয়ার আগে বসে বাক্যের অর্থকে প্রভাবিত করে।
- এটি বিভিন্ন অর্থ প্রদান করে।

• Correlative Conjunctions: পরস্পর সম্পর্কযুক্ত জোড়ায় জোড়ায় ব্যবহৃত conjunction গুলোই Correlative Conjunctions.

• Example:
- as…...as,
- either.…..or,

• Interrogative adjective:
- Interrogative pronoun গুলো যখন noun -এর পূর্বে বসে সেই noun -কে modify করে, তখন তাকে Interrogative adjective বলে।
- Interrogative adjective সাধারণত বাক্যের শুরুতে বসে।

অন্যদিকে,
• Relative pronoun
- যে pronoun পূর্বে উল্লেখিত কোন noun বা pronoun কে নির্দেশ পূর্বক দুটি বাক্যকে যুক্ত করে তাকে relative pronoun বলে।
- Who, which, that, what, but, as-এগুলো relative pronoun রূপে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- যেমন: This is the baby who cried for its mother.

• Interrogative pronoun: যে সকল pronoun দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করা হয়, সেগুলোকে Interrogative pronoun বলে।
- Interrogative pronoun সবসময় বাক্যের শুরুতে বসে এবং সর্বদা simple sentence (প্রশ্নবোধক বাক্য) গঠন করে।

• Relative adverb:
- A relative adverb is used to introduce a relative clause and relates to a noun or pronoun in the main clause, often indicating time, place, or reason.
- যেমন: This is the house where I was born.

• The correct answer is: গ) This one is no better than that one.

- এই বাক্যে better' adjective হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে (good-এর comparative form); linking verb 'is'-এর পরে বসে "this one"-কে describe করছে (predicate adjective)।

অন্যান্য অপশন:
