সুতরাং a few এটি একটি ইতিবাচক শব্দ। এর অর্থ "কিছু সংখ্যক" বা "কয়েকজন"। যেহেতু বক্তা তার কয়েকজন বন্ধু থাকার জন্য খুশি, তাই a few ব্যবহার করা হবে।
