Common Gender:
- Noun পুংবাচক বা স্ত্রীবাচক উভয়কেই বুঝালে Common Gender হয়।
- যেমন: Parent, Child, Baby, Teacher, Student, Monarch, Neighbor, Cousin, Orphan etc.

• Parent (noun):
Meanng- বাবা বা মা; জনক বা জননী; পূর্বপুরুষ।

• অন্যান্য অপশন:
- Duck (পাতিহাঁস) এর masculine gender হচ্ছে Drake.
- Niece (ভাইঝি) এর masculine gender হচ্ছে Nephew.
- Prosecutrix (মহিলা অভিযোক্তা) এর masculine gender হচ্ছে Prosecutor.

- কোন ব্যক্তি, বস্তু বা প্রাণীর সংখ্যাকে number বলে।

The word 'Cloth' is - ঘ) Material noun.

• Cloth [uncountable noun] (কাপড়; বস্ত্র) হলো Material noun.
- কারণ এটি পদার্থ বা বস্তু বাচক।

• Materiel Noun: 
- যে Noun দ্বারা কোন বস্তু বা পদার্থকে নির্দেশ করে তাকে Material noun বলে।
- Material noun সাধারণত uncountable noun হয়।
- একে গণনা করা যায় না কিন্তু পরিমাপ বা ওজন করা যায়।
- Cloth হলো Material noun, কারণ এটি পদার্থ বা বস্তু বাচক এবং একে গণনা করা যায় না কিন্তু পরিমাপ বা ওজন করা যায়।

Proper Noun
- Proper Noun দ্বারা কোন নির্দিষ্ট ব্যক্তি, বস্তু, স্থান প্রভৃতির নাম বুঝায়।
- যেমন: Titanic, Dhaka, Moon ইত্যাদি।

Common Noun:
- A common noun is one which is common to each member of class of persons or things/A noun that names a general class of persons, place or things.
- যে noun কোন এক শ্রেণির ব্যাক্তি বা বস্তুর প্রত্যেকের সাধারণ নাম বুঝায় তাকে common noun বলে।
- যেমন: The words "teacher," "river," and "table" are common nouns.

• Abstract Noun: 
- যে Noun কোনো অবস্তুগত ধারণা বা গুনকে নির্দেশ করে, যার কোনো বাহ্যিক অস্তিত্ব নেই এবং যা ছোঁয়া যায় না, গন্ধ দ্বারা বা শ্রবন দ্বারা বোঝা যায় না কিন্তু কল্পনা দ্বারা বোঝা যায় তাদেরকে Abstract Noun বলে।
Example:  Height, Goodness, Kindness, Whiteness, Hardness, Brightness, honesty, Wisdom, Bravery etc.

• Cannon এর plural form 'Cannons' or 'Cannon'. যার অর্থ কামান।
- কিছু কিছু noun এর singular ও plural form একই থাকে।

• এই বাক্যটিতে determiner এর misuse করা হয়েছে, কারণ much advices না হয়ে much advice হলে সঠিক হতো।
- advice একটি uncountable noun, তাই এর plural হয় না।
- এটিকে plural করতে হলে সঠিক determiner বসিয়ে plural করতে হয়।
- যেমন: two pieces of advice, a lot of advice, some advice, etc.

• উল্লিখিত বাকি অপশনগুলো,
ক) She has a few friends in the city.
- "a few" সঠিক determiner, যা countable noun "friends" কে determine করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।

গ)  We have plenty of reasons to be proud.
- "Plenty of" সঠিক determiner, যা countable noun "reasons" কে determine করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।
- Plenty of (প্রচুর; অঢেল) যা countable/ uncountable noun উভয়কে determine করে।

(ঘ) He bought several books yesterday.
- "several" সঠিক determiner, যা countable noun "books" কে determine করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।

• যে সকল noun কে গণনা করা যায় না (পদার্থ, দোষ, গুণ, কাজ ইত্যাদির নাম) তাদেরকে Uncountable noun বলে। যেমন-
- Money,

- Rice ইত্যাদি।

Bouquet শব্দটি একটি Collective Noun.

Collective Noun হলো এমন noun যা একসঙ্গে অনেকগুলো জিনিস/বস্তু/জীবকে একটি গ্রুপ বা সমষ্টি হিসেবে বোঝায়।

Bouquet মানে — ফুলের তোড়া অর্থাৎ একসঙ্গে অনেকগুলো ফুল একত্রিত করে যে তোড়া তৈরি হয়, সেটাকেই একক শব্দে bouquet বলা হয়। এটা একটি সমষ্টি (collection) বোঝায়, তাই collective noun.

• Bouquet: 
Meaning: a group of flowers that have been fastened together and attractively arranged so that they can be given as a present or carried on formal occasions.

Bouquet মানে হলো একসাথে সাজানো ফুলের গুচ্ছ।
এটি অনেকগুলো flowers কে একসাথে বোঝাচ্ছে, তাই এটি একটি Collective Noun.

• Collective Noun:
- A Collective Noun is the name of a number (or collection) of persons or things taken together and spoken of as one whole.
- যে সকল Noun দ্বারা সমজাতীয় কিছু ব্যক্তি, বস্তুর সমষ্টিকে বোঝায় তাদেরকে Collective Noun বলে।
- অর্থাৎ কিছু Common Noun এর সমষ্টিকেই collective noun বলে।
- কিছু collective noun হচ্ছে - cattle, herd, army, public, library, jury, committee, crew, majority, minority etc.

• Determiner:
- এর প্রধান কাজ Noun/ Pronoun কে Determine করা।
- Noun/ Pronoun এর নির্দিষ্টতা-অনির্দিষ্টতা বুঝাতে এটি ব্যবহার হয়।
- তবে তা Noun কে আংশিক কিংবা পরিপূর্ণ ভাবে modify করলেও, modify করা এটির প্রধান কাজ নয়।

- Articles মুলত Noun, Pronoun এর আগে বসে তাদের সংখ্যা এবং নির্দিষ্টতা, অনির্দিষ্টতা জ্ঞাপন করে।

• প্রকৃতিতে যা একটিমাত্র আছে তার পূর্বে The বসে।
- অর্থাৎ, একক বস্তু যেমন- চাঁদ, সূর্য, আকাশ, পৃথিবী (moon, earth, world, universe), পূর্ব, পশ্চিম, উত্তর, দক্ষিণ, ইত্যাদি নামের পূর্বে The বসে।

- Article মূলত Noun, Pronoun এর আগে বসে তাদের সংখ্যা এবং নির্দিষ্টতা, অনির্দিষ্টতাকে বুঝায়।

• Article কে প্রধানত ২ ভাগে ভাগ করা যায়।
1. Indefinite Articles: A, An.

• article ‘a’ বসে consonant (Vowel পাঁচটি ছাড়া বাকিগুলো) যুক্ত শব্দের শুরুতে।
• article ‘an’ বসে vowel (a, e, I, o, u) যুক্ত শব্দের শুরুতে।

- ‘a ও ‍an’ বসানোর ক্ষেত্রে প্রথম শব্দের উচ্চারণই মুখ্য।
- অর্থাৎ প্রথম উচ্চারণটি যদি vowel এর হয়। তাহলে an হবে।
- আর যদি প্রথম উচ্চারণটি consonant এর হয় তাহলে a হবে।

অন্যদিকে Honesty শব্দটি হলো একটি Abstract noun।

গ) Short
- যে সকল Word Noun বা pronoun এর দোষ,গুন,অবস্থা ,সংখ্যা বা পরিমাপ প্রকাশ করে তাদের adjective বলে।যেমন: Honest, good, long, short etc.
