• One of the ছাড়া শুধু the + Superlative Degree থাকলে – comparative degree করতে হলে,
- comparative degree + (than any other + singular noun) / (than all other + plural noun) বসে।
• Subject + verb + Superlative এর comparative form + than any other + প্রদত্ত sentence বাকী অংশ।

Example:
Superlative: Lily is the most creative writer in the publishing house.
Comparative:
- Lily is more creative than any other writer in the publishing house.
- Lily is more creative than all other writers in the publishing house.

• অন্যদিকে,
• One of the থাকলে Comparative করার সময়
- প্রদত্ত sentence এর object হবে subject + verb + positive degree এর comparative form + One of the এর পরিবর্তে  than many other + Plural Noun অথবা than most other + Plural Noun + বাকি অংশ বসে।

যেমন: 
Superlative: Lily is one of the most creative writers in the publishing house.
Comparative: 
- Lily is more creative than most other writers in the publishing house.

• Structure:
- প্রথম Subject প্রথমেই বসে
- এরপর Verb + one of the + Comparative Degree-এর Superlative form + Plural noun বসে
- সব শেষে most other/ few other এর পরের অংশ।
- নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক উত্তর - Mary is one of the kindest volunteers at the event.

• Kind (positive) - দয়ালু। 
- এর comparative form kinder এবং superlative form kindest.

আবার,
- Comparative Degree +(than all other/ than any other) থাকলে (the + superlative degree) হয়।
- the + superlative degree এর পর Singular Noun বসে।

• যেমন
Comparative: Mary is kinder than all other/ than any other volunteers/ vo; volunteer at the event.
Superlative: Mary is the kindest volunteer at the event.

Very few students in the class are as brilliant as Ayesha. (Make it comparative)

ব্যাখ্যা

- Positive: Very few students in the class are as brilliant as Ayesha.
- Comparative: Ayesha is more brilliant than most other students in the class.

• Very few যুক্ত Positive Degree কে Comparative Degree তে রূপান্তর করার নিয়ম:
- প্রদত্ত Sentence-এর শেষের Subject বসে।
- Subject অনুযায়ী Verb বসে।
- Positive Degree এর Comparative form বসে।
- Very few -এর পরিবর্তে than most other বসে।
- very few-এর পর থেকে verb-এর পূর্ববর্তী অংশ বসে।

- অর্থাৎ, প্রদত্ত sentence এর শেষের subject + verb + positive degree এর comparative form + than most other + Very few এর পর থেকে verb এর পূর্ব পর্যন্ত।

• Superlative Degree কে Comparative Degree তে রূপান্তরের নিয়ম:
- প্রদত্ত Sentence এর Subject ও verb বসে।
- the উঠে যায়।
- Superlative এর Comparative form বসে।
- than any other বসে।
- প্রদত্ত Sentence এর বাকি অংশ বসে।

• Note:
- of all থাকলে সেক্ষেত্রে of all এর জায়গায় than all other বসে এবং of any এর পরিবর্তে than any other বসে।

• Superlative Degree: Shakespeare is the greatest playwright the world has ever known.
• Comparative Degree: Shakespeare is greater than any other playwright the world has ever known.

- উল্লেখিত প্রশ্নের অপশনগুলোর মধ্যে Correct Positive Degree হচ্ছে Very few cities in Bangladesh are as small as Sylhet.

• Superlative degree তে one of the থাকলে Positive degree তে very few হয়।
• Superlative to Positive: Very few + plural noun + plural verb + as + positive degree + as + subject.

Example:

এখানে বলা হয়েছে,

অন্যদিকে, 
ক) less: এটি comparative degree, যা দুইটি জিনিসের মধ্যে তুলনা বোঝায়। কিন্তু, এখানে একটি দলের মধ্যে তুলনা করা হচ্ছে, তাই এটি ভুল।

খ) little: এটি positive degree, যা কোনো তুলনা ছাড়াই কেবল গুণের উপস্থিতি নির্দেশ করে। তাই এটি এখানে সঠিক নয়।

ঘ) more: এটি comparative degree, তাই এটি সঠিক নয়।

• Of all যুক্ত sentence কে comparative করার নিয়ম - 
- প্রথম subject প্রথমেই + verb + superlative এর comparative form + than all other + বাকি অংশ।

- সুতরাং নিয়মানুযায়ী -
- Superlative sentence: Albert Einstein is the most influential of all physicists of the 20th century.
- Comparative sentence: Albert Einstein is more influential than all other physicists of the 20th century.

অন্যদিকে, 
• the + Superlative Degree থাকলে – comparative degree করতে হলে,
- comparative degree + (than any other + singular noun) / (than all other + plural noun) বসে।
• Subject + verb + Superlative এর comparative form + than any other + প্রদত্ত sentence বাকী অংশ।
 
Example:
Superlative: Karim is the best player in the team.
Comparative: Karim is better than any other player/ than all other players in the team.

- Sentence এর Noun বা pronoun এর দোষ, গুন, অবস্থা ইত্যাদি বুঝাতে adjective এর রূপ ব্যবহার করা হয়।

Comparative Degree:
- দুটি Noun বা pronoun এর দোষ, গুন, অবস্থা ইত্যাদির তুলনা বুঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- যেমন: Hasib is stronger than bulbul.
Superlative Degree:
- সাধারণত অনেকের মধ্যে তুলনা বুঝাতে adjective এর রূপ ব্যবহার করা হয়।
- যেমন: john is the best actor in the team.

উল্লেখিত প্রশ্নে -The rose is the finest of all flowers. - এটি একটি superlative degree.
- এখানে ‘rose’ কে অনেক ফুলের সাথে তুলনা করে সবচেয়ে ভালো ফুল হিসেবে দেখানো হয়েছে যেখানে  ‘finest’ হলো adjective.

• তবে কোনো interrogative sentence যদি Which দিয়ে শুরু হয় তাহলে passive voice- এ রুপান্তর করার structure হবে : which + subject + be verb + verb এর past participle + object + ?.

- এখানে prettiest এর comparative form হচ্ছে prettier. 
- তাই সঠিক উত্তরটি হবে: Rupa is prettier than most other girls in the class.

ব্যাখ্যা
Positive কে Superlative করতে হলে, Subject (যাকে তুলনা করা হয়) Object (যার সাথে তুলনা করা হয়) হয় এবং Object - Subject হয়।
তাই এখানে Mr. Kamal - Subject হয়ে বসবে।
Positive Degree যুক্ত বাক্যে Very few থাকলে one of the + superlative degree + Plural Noun হয়।

সে অনুসারে সঠিক উত্তর হবে - Mr. Kamal was one of the sincerest employees.

- Of + the + two + plural noun +comma + subject + verb + the + comparative degree.

• অন্যদিকে,
ক) বাক্যটি ভুল কারণ এই বাক্যে দুটি জিনিসে মধ্যে তুলনা বোঝানো হয়েছে।
- তাই good এর comparative form হিসেবে better বসলে বাক্যটি সঠিক হবে।
- সঠিক বাক্য -  This one is better than the two. 

গ) বাক্যটি ভুল।
- দু'য়ের মধ্যে তুলনা বুঝালে adjective এর comparative form হয়।
- কিন্তু এর বেশি হলে superlative form ব্যবহার করতে হয়।
- দুই জনের মধ্যে তুলনা করার structure টাতে যদি of the two /between a and b এ রকম থাকে, তখন comparative degree এর পূর্বে the বসে। 
- বাক্যটিতে দুজনের মধ্যে তুলনা হইয়েছে তাই the more বসবে।
- সঠিক বাক্য - Between Sabina and Sabiha, Sabiha is the more intelligent.

ঘ) বাক্যটি ভুল।
- সাধারণত comparative degree এর পূর্বে the বসেনা।
- কিন্তু যখন দুইটি ব্যাক্তি বা বস্তুর মাঝে যেকোনো একটি দোষ বা গুন বলা হয়, তখন comparative degree এর পূর্বে the এবং পরে of বসে।
- এক্ষেত্রে বাক্যের শুরুতে অথবা comparative degree এর পর of the + two nouns (plural) এর উল্লেখ থাকে।
- তাই নিয়মানুযায়ী সঠিক বাক্য হবে - Shafi is the younger of the two brothers.

- Object - Subject হয়ে বসবে।
- এরপর the + superlative degree বসবে।
- এর পাশাপাশি Subject - Object হয়ে বসবে।
- বাকি অংশ বসবে।

• No other যুক্ত Positive Degree কে Comparative Degree তে রূপান্তরের নিয়ম:
