Complete sentence: He looked as though he had seen a ghost .

- As though: যেন অর্থে as if/ as though ব্যবহৃত হয়। As though যুক্ত sentence এর প্রথম অংশ এর verb টি Present indefinite হলে এর পরবর্তী অংশের verb টি হবে past indefinite form এ।
Structure: Subject+ verb(present form )+as if/as though+ subject+ verb (past indefinite form)
Example: He speaks as though he were mad.

- আবার As though যুক্ত sentence এর প্রথম অংশ এর verb টি Past indefinite হলে এর পরবর্তী অংশের verb টি হবে past perfect form এ।
Structure: Subject+ verb(past form) +as if/as though + subject+ verb(past perfect )
Example: He acted as though he had known everything.

Other options:
ক) If: সাধারণত দুটি Clause বা দুটি sentence কে সংযুক্ত করতে 'IF' ব্যবহৃত হয় । ভবিষ্যত সম্ভাব্য অবস্থা এবং তার ফলাফল বোঝাতে if ব্যাবহার করা হয়।
Example: Water boils if you heat it to 100 degree.

খ) Therefore: ২য় clause টি ১ম clause এর ফলাফল বোঝালে ২য় clause এর পূর্বে সে জন্য/ সে কারণে অর্থে so/therefore বসে।
He is going to work in England, therefore/so he is learning English.

ঘ) Unless: একটি সংযোজক অব্যয় বা Conjunction যা 'যদি না' অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
অর্থাৎ কোনো একটি শর্ত পূরণ না হলে অন্য কিছু ঘটবে অথবা ঘটবে না এমন বোঝাতে ব্যাবহৃত হয়।
Example: I will not go unless I am invited.
