• শূন্যস্থানে সঠিক উত্তর হবে - heard এবং started.
- Complete sentence: No sooner had they heard the news than they started celebrating.

• No sooner had যুক্ত বাক্য গঠনের নিয়মাবলী:
- No sooner had.....than হচ্ছে Correlative conjunction.
- No sooner....... than, Hardly...... when, Scarcely........ when ইত্যাদি দ্বারা দুটি clause যুক্ত থাকলে প্রথম clause টির verb 'past perfect tense' এবং দ্বিতীয় clause টির verb 'past indefinite tense' হয়।
- এক্ষেত্র প্রথম clause টির auxiliary verb (had) টি সর্বদাই subject -এর পূর্বে বসে।

• Structure: No sooner had + subject + 1st clause (verb এর past participle) + than + subject + 2nd clause (verb এর past form) + exrt.

• নিয়মানুযায়ী,
- No sooner had থাকলে পরের অংশে than (then নয়) ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- Hardly had থাকলে পরের অংশে when ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- Scarcely had থাকলে পরের অংশে when (than নয়) ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- As soon as থাকলে পরের অংশে শুধু কমা বসে, অন্য কোনো শব্দ ব্যবহৃত হয় না।

• Note: No sooner....... than, Hardly...... when, Scarcely........ when এবং As soon as সবগুলোই "করতে না করতেই/ হতে না হতেই" এ রকম অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

• More Example:
1. No sooner had I stepped out of the house than it started raining.
2. No sooner had he finished his breakfast than the phone rang.
3. No sooner had I completed the task than my boss asked for an update.
