• Gerund:
- Gerund হল এমন একটি শব্দ যা verb + ing যুক্ত হয়ে Noun এর মতো কাজ করে।

• Gerund এর ব্যবহার:
- Subject হিসেবে বসে।
- Object হিসেবে বসে।
- Preposition এর Object হিসেবে বসে।
- Verb এর Complement হিসেবে বসে।

• প্রদত্ত Sentence টিতে 'Read' (Verb) এর সাথে ing যুক্ত হয়ে Noun (Subject হিসেবে) এর মতো কাজ করেছে অর্থাৎ verb ও noun এর কাজ করে তখন তাকে Gerund বলে।
